Last week at Shaw’s we had pasta for $0.37 with J4u, L4. We also had a $2/4 pasta J4u. We got 4 pasta for free ($1.48) but no “o”.

@zennuts I never have scanning issues at RA or anywhere else. Only issues have to do with coding not the quality of my coupon. B&W laser on the back side of scrap paper including phone bills (yes I get paper phone bills).

So once again my submission for a Swig bottle was rejected. The first time was GM saying I’d used coupons and I pointed out that nowhere in the T&C does it say you can’t use coupons.
They sent me the bottle.

For this offer I got 3 dented boxes of Special K (so 50% off) when they were on sale for $1.49 ea. I checked the UPC against the list of participating products. I paid $2.22 for the 3 boxes. I received KFR points but bottle was rejected and no reason given. So I contacted Support, attaching a copy of the receipt and told them I had purchased within the time frame and the UPC matched. The Support request was acknowledged but 9 days later hadn’t heard back. Today I sent another message saying that I was still waiting to hear from someone about why my submission was rejected. I received a message that my submission had been approved. No explanation as to why it had been rejected initially.

I stopped in store today. Window signs said “Up to 30% OFF” not 60% as in photo above. Games were 10% off. I wanted baby formula and it was excluded.

@mistercheap. I received the same email but before it arrived I’d already placed 3 orders and it showed that I’d earned $15 back on $50 on all of my orders.

I got a free 30 day trial from KFR Rewards a few months ago. The trial expired. I just got a one year subscription gift which I’m gifting to myself. Purchased it through iBotta when they were offering 25% back to max of $17.50, which is less than 25% on a year but still a good discount. Also 5% back from Discover this quarter.

I used the same email for the now expired trial, the recent purchase and for the account receiving the gift. When do they consider you an existing subscriber? After the new subscription expires in a year can I let it lapse and become a new subscriber again?

TSC horse bedding pellets are increasingly the litter of choice for many cat owners. Its bio-degradable, it doesn’t track very much, there’s virtually no dust, solids can be flushed (a little sawdust may go down the toilet) and the pellets are really cheap: 40lbs for $5.99.

@ctujackbauer I got $5 KC and I haven’t been in a store since 2019. Haven’t ordered anything either. I think absence triggered it. That and maybe the end of a fiscal quarter.

The orange juice is a much better deal than the coke (if your store doesn’t upcharge for it. I’ve seen anywhere from $0.20 to $1 extra).

all a matter of taste I suppose. I’m not a big fan of OJ and washing down a burger & fries with it isn’t my idea of ‘tasty’.

I just checked website and it shows that you can get applesauce instead of fries and low fat milk instead of soft drink on the kids menu. I always tell them to keep the fries so a cup of applesauce is a great substitute. I prefer it to the apple slices that McD’s gives. I’ll use the milk in my coffee and freeze the chicken nuggets until I have enough for a real meal.

Do you have to order everything on the app? I’m new to this. To download the app I have to go somewhere with faster WiFi than I have at home; basically anywhere with public WiFi is faster than mine.

@george2001 You’re right, he must have had FB but what caught my attention was the “join” date and low FB. IIRC he’d made a purchase from Gift Card Mall that same day and they’d immediately posted FB even though his payment probably hadn’t cleared yet. Can’t recall if there was more than that in history. I also looked at the address and it didn’t sound right. Something like ABC Manufacturing. I remembered reading about another seller having a problem with something like this. I contacted eBay. They told me that there was a problem w/ funding for this user. Within the week the user acct was closed but not before someone else I was online with was scammed.

@rick505 I like PayPal as a buyer. Less so as a seller. IDK if eBay thinks by changing to PayPal their sellers won’t mind eBay’s fees. Losing the 10% discount for TRS cost me more than PayPal.

They were emailed on 1-18. I received $10/$20 and $5/$10. Didn’t realize until too late that I can’t stack the $5/$10’s to get a $20 item and I want something that’s $20. If anyone has one that won’t be used, PLMK. Happy to send you $5/$10’s in exchange.

@dangeruss It would not have stacked with a $/$$ coupon, only with an item specific coupon like one for a ream of paper. I tried getting $60 worth of stuff using 6 $5/$10’s and register didn’t allow it. Didn’t offer option for manager to do an over-ride either.

@fivetalents I just did a speed test. Download speed is 0.85 Mbps. How many times faster would it have to be to be a G speed?
Upload speed is 0.21 Mbps. Uploading causes gmail to crash

@fivetalents I see it each time computer “wakes up” from sleep. Thought it was due to my slow internet connection.

@fivetalents yes, as mikk1 mentioned. I meant like phones talk about having 4G. The only danger I’m in is that my speed is so slow that I can’t connect. I have a Nest thermostat but I can’t get it online cuz my internet is too slow. To set it up I connected to my next door neighbor’s network. When I updated from W8 to W10 it took 26 hrs to download then gave me an error message. Ended up borrowing my neighbor’s signal and it downloaded in <15 min.

My internet service is one of my best FW deals. $14.95 for life. At the time I had dial up… So I’ve had this plan for more than 15 years. I’ve had one rate increase – up to $16.95/mo.

so 1000 times faster and I’d still be < 1G. can’t imagine things happening that fast…

@fivetalents Populated area? Population of the state is under 600,000. I live in the state capital, population 7500. I drive an hour to work and there’s no cell service for most of the trip. No towers. I read the mailings from folks like Xfinity/comcast (the only cable provider in the region) and there’s no$20/mo plan unless its a limited time offer after which the rate triples.

@fivetalents Neighbor probably pays > $100/mo for phone-cable-internet. I have a flip phone – which I rarely use. $13/mo. I should probably have a Trac Fone since I make less than 1 call/mo.

@fivetalents Some areas the only way to get high speed internet is by satellite which is very expensive. Our governor wants to get high speed internet available statewide. Since I don’t have dial up maybe what I have is high speed? And just because its available doesn’t mean it will be affordable.

Most folks I know have smart phones. Even friends living off the grid have faster internet and smart phones. I’m a cheap dinosaur

@mistercheap I last redeemed an offer (watched a video) 5 months ago. The time before that was 7 months ago, again a video. Its not worth my time to watch videos for 3¢. IDK what TADA will involve but if they become more like iBotta then I’m even more uninterested. I do something every 6 months to keep iBotta active but I can’t be bothered to keep CO51.
