@mrvietnam The last time we bought Listerine I found hangtags on bottles. They beeped of course.

RE: HURRY!!!! Activate S* $10 Contour Next One meter!!! $10MM at Rite Aid!!! Exp. 12-4-17posted in Expired Deals
@fivetalents IDK. I received notice that it was moved to Expired so I posted the real expiration date. Notification said you moved it. The sale price is valid until Dec. 4 and S* until Dec. 5. The ip may be NLA but there’s still the insert coupon and an IP being NLA doesn’t mean a deal is expired.

RE: 50% off staples rewards plusposted in Deal Discussion
@dangeruss You get upgraded for free by being a “valued customer”. Here’s discussion about losing Rewards.
I called, was “downgraded” and because of @juicer’s success I argued to get back the lost Rewards. Rewards CSR came up with value of $130 which was more than I thought. It arrived and it was cashed out with BF deals. I came out ahead in the end-- 2 $25/$25 appeasements and $130 in Rewards kept me a satisfied customer. My year to date spend is >$2k. I bought a lot of MMAR software. McAfee was crazy-- something like $4.99 online with $40 rebate. L5 so I ordered 5 for a bunch of friends. They dumped Kaspersky with rebates. eg $40 on line w/o rebate, $80 instore w/ $60 rebate. Bought in store, did PM to dot.com and submitted for rebate. Sold all the Kaspersky but if anyone needs McAfee I have 20 boxes.

RE: Rite Aid Black Friday Ad Scan 2017posted in Black Friday 2017
@barrytuneup 1. No S&S near me. 2. More importantly, I spend < $500 a year on groceries so I never earn gas points where I shop. My oop is usually < $10/trip. So from my point of view you’re spending a LOT on groceries to get a discount on gas. Might work for you if you need to spend that much on food but doesn’t work for me.
Are you able to buy m.o. at S&S?

RE: Rite Aid Black Friday Ad Scan 2017posted in Black Friday 2017
@barrytuneup I didn’t think what I did was MS either but you posted about getting groceries buying Visa gc so didn’t think that was MS.
How are you cashing out your Visa’s from Staples? Walmart one at a time? My WM will only accept one card per m.o. and limit one per day. Used to be so easy to pay for one m.o. with 4 gc but no longer.

RE: BUZZ CLUB (Big Lots) Improvements, get $5 reward with every 3 purchases, plus other perksposted in Expired Deals
@lorenw I’m getting cranky. I’ve done 15 transactions. The first set of 3 was completed the week of Nov. 11. They say it will take 7-14 days to receive email. Nothing.
Not only that but I had 4 pending, went down to 3 which I thought meant one would be coming.
I made another 3 transactions which brought the pending back up to 4.
Last week that 4 went down to 3 again. -
RE: Small Kitchen Electrics for $2 or Less AC & MIR & $15 KC & Y2Y & FS @Kohls.com thru Nov 24posted in Expired Deals
@kohlspowrshopper awww thanks. That’s why I was confused. It says FRIENDS25 but there’s also a long code that has a PIN. It was the PIN that made me think it was unique. I guess the only way to know is to load it and see what happens.

RE: Small Kitchen Electrics for $2 or Less AC & MIR & $15 KC & Y2Y & FS @Kohls.com thru Nov 24posted in Expired Deals
@kohlspowrshopper I was asking about the % off code I received w/ the KC. Nothing special about it, correct? Its just the 25% off FnF code. When I received it I thought it was unique and I was “special” but I’m not.

RE: Small Kitchen Electrics for $2 or Less AC & MIR & $15 KC & Y2Y & FS @Kohls.com thru Nov 24posted in Expired Deals
@kohlspowrshopper said in Small Kitchen Electrics for $2 or Less AC & MIR & $15 KC & Y2Y & FS @Kohls.com thru Nov 24:
25% off storewide (Nov 30-Dec 06), which will also be a new KC earning period
When I received the Kohls cash for purchasing appliances I also received a 25% off code valid those same dates. There’s a bar code with a PIN but it also says FRIENDS25. So nothing super special about what I received? If its the same 25% off storewide then I can’t stack it, right?

@kohlspowrshopper When do Yes2You credits get issued? Once a month? Since I earned them this past week will they be available to stack with KC earned this past week? thanks.

RE: Rite Aid Black Friday Ad Scan 2017posted in Black Friday 2017
@barrytuneup I didn’t think of getting eg grocery cats for purchases as MS.
Would you consider the following MS? I just think of it as getting cheap gas.
- Bought $400 prepaid Visas at Staples. Rebate covers the activation fee. 5% back on Chase Ink so $20.
- Used the $400 in prepaids to buy $400 in Best Buy gc at Rite Aid. Earned 1600PP per acct (4 accts, $16 ea)
- Used the $400 in Best Buy gc to buy $375 in gas gc (Shell & Mobil) and $25 Panera card.
- Use the Mobil gc when I have Plenti offers for eg 7x pts per gallon.
If gas is $2.50/gallon by my math I’m paying ~ $1.90/gallon. Like I said, I think of it as getting cheap gas not MS.
IMO MS is buying stuff to rack up credit card bonus. In the above instance just the initial $400 on Chase Ink would be MS.

RE: 50% off staples rewards plusposted in Deal Discussion
@pruhtp He probably doesn’t care about the 5% since his spend to date is $180.
@dangeRuss I think if you only want to be able to recycle 20 carts it makes sense to get Business Rewards or the More Acct. However, I don’t understand how you’d miss out on $120/year. Why not $240?
For those who spend money at Staples the Business Rewards Program is a money loser. I was also “upgraded” for free but called to be downgraded to normal after I realized I’d lost $130 in Rewards.

@barrytuneup IDK if you’ll see this before I head out in AM. Have you been in any of the following CT stores this weekend?
Norwalk, Fairfield, Milford (2 stores), Enfield
I won’t bother stopping if you’ve already been there.

@krazy9katz said in Zojirushi NP-HCC10XH Induction Heating System Rice Cooker and Warmer, 1 L $201.48 @Amazon:
@my4mainecoons oh you add goodies to the noodles. so you cook. i usually microwave bag ones for 90 secs with boiling water. yea not cup i meant bowl. not big enough for a meal but good for snack. or add regular cheapo ramen noodles after i’m done with neoguri noodles. i’m not supposed to drink all the soup so add lil more hot water and micro!
got some kimchi ones in bag to try at walmart and i like those too.I love that you think microwaving ramen & tossing in tofu/veggies is cooking.
If I have a plastic bowl ramen I dump the contents into one of my soup bowls.
I put water for the ramen into the plastic bowl, swish it around then dump onto the ramen.
Clean plastic bowl can then go in the recycling bin. -

RE: Zojirushi NP-HCC10XH Induction Heating System Rice Cooker and Warmer, 1 L $201.48 @Amazonposted in Expired Deals
@krazy9katz I buy the cases of black and shin ramen in packages. Cups & bowls give you less, lol. I have a camel alert for them and pay for them w/ Amazon gc I earn doing taste testing. I add tofu or egg, edamame, corn and shittakes. Just tried KimChi from BigLots where it was $0.90 for a bowl. That was a splurge, lol. The BIg Lots deal is to have 3 transactions to earn a $5 Reward (store credit) so I’m usually buying single serve corn flakes for $0.19 one at a time.

@mrvietnam Here’s my moose report:
Bought 4 Colgate and got limit reached. Offer is Buy 2 get 800. Enamel Health RR $4.79 in higher priced stores is better MM than Sensitive since $3.83 gold.RA coupon machine Zim’s coupon worked fine on bonus size tube but beeps on the bonus size roll on.
Supermarket manufacturer’s GE LED q beeped but was pushed through.
My store didn’t have the $6 ear buds so SM asked me how many I wanted (2) and price modded 2 $16.99 prs to 0.
Received email for 5% in PP on Macy’s purchases. I’m working on cashing out PP since I’ll be losing RA. Buying some of the FAR Macy’s stuff like glassware. The 5% back will cover the sales tax I guess.
Word on the street re: tape is that you have to buy the one with holiday stuff and not the one with school supplies.

@fivetalents sorry to hear of your loss
but you just saved me $200
I’ll have $70 in Kohls Cash to spend and was considering rice pot vs. pressure cooker/Instant Pot. Instant pot is looking better unless something comes up where I can cash out the KC. -
RE: Zojirushi NP-HCC10XH Induction Heating System Rice Cooker and Warmer, 1 L $201.48 @Amazonposted in Expired Deals
@dangeruss well I just thought if it was going to go in the trash
I’ve wanted Zojirushi but can’t justify spending the money since I use my current rice pot maybe twice a year. I cook sticky rice on stove top since I never figured out correct proportions to cook in rice pot. Make sticky rice every few years so never figured it out.eta: does the fingertip thing for measuring water work the same in Zojirushi?
