@dangeruss you have to spend $5.01. Buy $5 bed and a biscuit from the biscuit bar I guess. Although having done that in the past, I suggest getting something your dog might actually like. Cats ignored the biscuits.

I bought the $3.99 bed paying w/ Petco gc so “spent” $3.99.
If I were to use PALS Reward would have had to spend $5 (Rewards are in $5 denominations) and spent a little oop. They deduct coupons & Rewards so if bed was $6.99 and used $5 PALS reward system would credit $1.99 spent. The offer just says “buy” but doesn’t say how much you have to pay. That’s why I went with the cheap bed. But if you bought bed for $5 and paid with $5 PALS reward system would see $0 spent.

If you actually want a pet bed, you could buy e.g. $19.99 bed, pay with $15 PALS rewards and $4.99 oop. Get back $10 PALS reward.

But now I have $10 PALS reward which I’m going to use on cat food.

I know its not your brand, but there’s an instore promo: buy 1 small bag Science Diet earn $5 PALS and buy 1 large bag Science Diet earn $10 PALS.

I’m going to use the $10 from the pet bed to buy a small bag ($12xx I think), pay the difference with gift card and get back another $5 PALS reward.

eta: So I decided to get the $5 BOPUS I was owed from last night’s order.
Chat was offline so I had to call. CSR said she’d give me $5KC on my next online order. Explained what had happened with Chat yesterday but over the phone they can place orders vs. Chat can’t.
So I ordered another set of invisibobbles, $7.99 RR and used 25% off code.
CSR applied $5 KC and I paid the $2xx balance w/ gc.

Yesterday Chat told me it takes 48 hrs to receive the email w/KC. ummmm no.
Today phone rep told me it takes 24 hrs to receive the email w/ KC. ummmm no.
Both times I told them that when it worked properly that the email was waiting for me when I got home .

So I have another set of Invisibobbles which isn’t the worst thing but I’m going to pick up my order later today and if there’s no $5 BOPUS bonus in the email I’ll be better prepared with a different $5 item when I call CS tomorrow.

I got an awful bed. Really thin & small. Might work for a kitten if its on a rug… BUT it was $3.99 ($9.99RR) so I PM’d instore to dot.com and today I received $10 PALS reward.

In store I saw a sign that all Harmony beds were 50% off this month. There was a much nicer bed $19.99RR, $9.99 on sale but I wanted to do the experiment of buying cheap. There will probably be other coupons or deals in the next 2 wks so keep checking the website.

Then she said “oh you placed it for BOPUS, we can’t adjust that” grrrr They can only adjust order that will ship. Ummm. I don’t place orders to ship. She offers me another 100 Yes2You to compensate me for the $5. grrrr.

So now I have 300 in Yes2You. $5 in KC from BOPUS bonus that did work. $5 KC for oos.

Waiting for the Ready for Pick Up email on newest order. We’ll see what happens.

Turns out the deal tracks. Wish I’d known that yesterday. I could have tossed $10 RA gc into several of my transactions and paid for them w/ PP. Had so much “o” and was scrambling to cover it. I can still do a few but probably only get to $50 per card.

PS. The SmSource printables AND the hang tag 75c Q’s are all beeping and require manual input. The RA Senior Q’s scan with no issue.

ALSO, Be sure to check your 2017 wellness spending, if you are close to silver or gold status make sure you spend enough prior to 12/31 to reach those levels for 2018. Filling RX’es will give you 25 points each I think if you have stuff to refill prior to 12/31.

the q’s beep on the bonus size bottles. I learned this in October… stuck with the 1 L bottles this time around and no beeps.

I think Rite Aid and Plenti are pretty committed to each other. The bigger issue is if one will still have Rite Aid stores in 2018. Mine are all being taken over by Walgreens so I’m cashing out.

@mistercheap Wish there were deals at my supermarket. Staples sales staff did my purchasing. I only had Saturday to shop so I drove 9 hrs from Dad’s to home stopping at RA’s & Petco along the way (5 hrs if no stops). Happily it was “untapped” territory for clearance Nicorette. Everybody does what works for them. I was just pleased to get an extra $5 in the deal. Picking up was worth ~ $20 for me. $15 in sales tax saved and $5 BOPUS bonus.

@fivetalents it is mayhem at Kohls B&M for days, lots do the online pick up option too. Given the rebates, it is easy to get $50 in your cart post discounts and have them shipped for free. I’ve never had any of them damages since they pack a number of these items into one larger box.

I honestly see no reason to go to the store if you are ONLY doing this appliance deal. if it were in store only, I’d understand.

@mistercheap Well, I found another reason to pick up in store. Earned $5 Kohls Cash for doing it. Turns out there’s been a promotion for $5 KC when you BOPUS.

This week I placed an order to use the $60 KC and $10 Yes2You I’d earned buying appliances. Received $5 KC for doing BOPUS. Just chatted with CS wondering why I’d received for 2nd order but hadn’t received the BOPUS bonus for my 12 appliances. They issued 100 Yes2You pts and gave me $5/$5 my next online order. If I choose BOPUS again I’ll receive another $5 KC for that order.

I picked up my 12 appliances on Saturday PM after Thanksgiving. I was the only one at the CS counter. Of course a line formed behind me since it took CSR a bit to collect the 12 appliances.

@noahbody Santa has no idea how nice I am to my Staples.
I had a kiosk order fail. I’d used a $20/$60 coupon on the order. They refunded the cc payment but couldn’t do anything about the coupon so AM gave me a $20/$20 certificate even while I protested it wasn’t necessary. It was good for 90 days and it just expired unused this week. Only $20 but I didn’t want to affect store’s profits.

OTH, I was out of town over Thanksgiving. I wanted my store to have my sales so I left them $230 in Rewards checks and a $15 Staples gc along with instructions for 3 separate transactions. They did everything. All I did was pick orders up on Sunday and submit the rebates: 2 McAfee, 10 single reams, 9 pkgs of Sharpies to 3 addresses. $230 in Rewards cashed out. $5 used on the gift card (rebate from prepaid VC offer).

Right now, placing something in cart I haven’t seen the $5 bonus mentioned but I’m at work. Will see what happens when I load cart on home pc. I have a Kohls gc to play with. I might get a few pillows @ $2.99 ea if I can get the $5 KC for each.

@wmnetid What state are you in? If in MA, NJ, OR, WA the minimum to cash out is $5 so folks might be buying 10 @ $5.

@mrvietnam What I suggest that you do is to buy 5 $10 gc for $50. Earn 1000PP. Use each gc once and choose the option to receive the balance back as cash. (IDK if anyone else posting lives in CA where the minimum to cash out gc is $10.) Then use that cash and a little more to buy your next $50 in gc.

This one time only I wish I lived in CA.

@kohlspowrshopper I ordered online from the comfort of home. Ordered for local pick up to avoid shipping. (Paid with the KC and Yes2You earned on BF.) Picked up the order later on same day and when I arrived home there was email with $5 KC.

I wonder if I can order something small (as cheap as possible) for local pickup and come out ahead on $5 KC’s. Any ideas for items < $1? Found candle melts $2.99, $2.24 after 25% off. The Big One Pillow for $2.99 probably has better yard sale value.

not true, I bought Dominos gc last month when they had the deal, and along with other stuff, PP were taken off for all ltems except the gc. It was hard coded in register. I had to use a 3% credit card for that. They also have the Dominos deal this week along with a RA gift card. Debating whether to buy.

I’ve not bought Visa or MC but you can buy any gift card using PP. I usually buy the gc that are giving PP back that week. This week I’ll probably get Petco. In past 6 mo I’ve bought various ones. Need to be an experienced coupon user and comfortable telling cashier in what order to do things.

Exactly. I don’t have thousands in PP because when my acct totals get over $250 I buy gc to get point total down. So instead of hundreds of PP I have hundreds in gc. The special holiday gc display is nice because there are $10 gc on it. I’ve been getting PetSmart but they have a $10 eBay gc and lots of restaurant gc for $10. Easy to do this week with Senior Day coupons on Wednesday.

@kohlspowrshopper I placed an order for pick up and received $5 KC which is active immediately and doesn’t expire until 12-31-17. Can I rinse & repeat? If I use it to order a $5 item for pick up will I receive another $5 KC?

@mrvietnam I did my experiment. I had a RA gc with $1xx on it. I tried to buy a $6xx gc.
Total $6xx, swiped the RA gc w/ $1xx on it and the register said “Rite Aid does not allow the use of gift cards for the purchase of gift cards, lottery tickets, postage stamps…”. It was worth a shot.
