@mrvietnam Nice!
Someone on SD sent me a bunch so I can max out my cards and my friend’s cards.
He told me he could get lots.
Hearing how easy it is I don’t feel badly about the 16 he sent me, lol.

RE: Official Holiday Gift Card / GC bonus promo thread 2017
@fivetalents thanks. I didn’t get the BB offer. I get BB cards from Rite Aid and historically have used them to buy Mobil gas cards. Recently its been $8 wyb $50 or $16 wyb $100. I suppose I could treat myself and get just $75 worth of gas at 8% discount… hard for me to splurge like that I could get a Panera gc with Plenti Points at RA but I try to get cards I really need eg Petco & PetSmart.

RE: BUZZ CLUB (Big Lots) Improvements, get $5 reward with every 3 purchases, plus other perks
Since this is new program, thought I’d post my experience so far.
Sunday & Monday of this past week I made 3 purchases in 2 different stores.
The purchases were not in my purchase history until Thursday and still didn’t show anything towards the “purchase 3” reward.
Thursday night I made 4th purchase.
Friday I made a purchase in 2 different stores.
Friday PM I now have a “pending” $5 Reward. Says it will be emailed in 7-14 days.
Will post when the email appears and what happens with the 2nd Reward.Reward #1: $1.89 oop
Reward #2: 88¢ oop -
RE: PLENTI (activation required - YMMV) Redeem $10 in points at Exxon/Mobil, get $2 points back ($10 worth of gas for $8 net)
@psxzombie If you keep redeeming the ones for points with 5+ gallon purchase they start sending 8+ gallon purchase. Enjoy them while they last.
Might be too much fuss for some but I’ve redeemed a lot of gas offers:
I would get 5.01 gallons to earn the bonus points for eg 200PP wyb 5+ gallons.
I would get 4.51 gallons to earn the bonus points for eg 10x points on gallons of gas purchase. The distinction is that the system rounds up when they’re multiplying the gallons but NOT when minimum is required to earn a bonus.
If I needed a full tank I’ve bought eg 5.01 gallons on one Plenti card and another 5.01 gallons on another Plenti card and received bonuses on both cards.

Staples $10/$30 coupon for E- Recycling Nov. 12-18
Recycle your old tech for free and earn a $10 coupon.
From November 12 to November 18, gather up your old electronics and bring them to your nearest Staples® store and if you are a Rewards member, we’ll give you a coupon for $10 off your next purchase of $30 or more.
*Coupon will be printed on the receipt when items are recycled. Coupon terms apply. Not applicable on business exclusive pricing or custom pick pricing. Limit of one coupon per customer, not per item recycled. See our FAQs for more details on our recycling program.
NB: Coupons don’t work on items with rebates.
In the past have been able to work around the 1 per Rewards acct by not giving Rewards card.
In the past have been able to recycle one item at a time and earn more than one coupon.I have a hard time finding anything I want that doesn’t have a rebate or isn’t on sale. If folks find things, please post.

RE: Staples B&M Monetize $88rewards 11/23-25 1c aer Reams (lim 4, no Q's rqrd), $1 aer (after $5 er) 12 pak SHARPIES (lim 3 rebates), also FAR McAfee (online/store)
@mistercheap yeah I understand no true oop but I put oop instead of “price at the register”. I’m looking at how to break up transactions based on Reward checks. I’ll have 2 @ $50, 2 @ $40 and a $30 to cash out.
1 McAfee & 2 Sharpies will use a $50 Reward check but has to be done B&M.
1 McAfee online uses a $40 Reward check and give up the penny.I can do more w/ Sharpies & paper than with McAfee so might go for 3 Sharpies ($18) & 4 Reams ($33) = $51 (twice) and a copy of McAfee (twice).
2 addresses for rebates. -
RE: $100 Lowe's eGift Card for $90 @ PPDG Store
@myisland Check eBay gift card page daily-- they list the ones “on sale” or create a “product alert” so eBay emails you when new items come up for sale. The problem with option #1 is that you have to check every day. The problem with #2 is you may receive emails about listings you have no interest in. You can set up frequency of emails, eg immediate, once a day, once a week, etc.

@mistercheap 11/23-11/24? Is Staples going to be open on Thanksgiving Day 11/23?
For those looking to monetize Rewards:
Ream paper $8.29 oop w/o any coupons
Sharpies $6 oop
McAfee $39.99 oop@buckmann I have 20 copies of McAfee from August for which I received rebates w/o installation.

@ctgolfer The white is my fave. The fabric on the black one isn’t as nice – rougher and it attracts fur which you can really see.

RE: KMart & Sears Black Friday 2017 Ads
@fivetalents I just looked again. Further along it does say 2017. I didn’t have time to investigate so just left it for someone else to figure out
-
RE: KMart & Sears Black Friday 2017 Ads
@fivetalents Using my system opt for $79.99 (regular price), use a $10/$20 coupon so pay $69.99. Difference btw sale price $35.99 and regular price = $44 so you’ll get a Sears gc for 110% of $44 or $48.40.
Use the Sears gc + $1.60 to buy e.g. $50 Amazon gc.
Net: $69.99 + $1.60 for wrench set and $50 Amazon gc.
I get Staples gc if I want to monetize but usually gas gc. -
RE: KMart & Sears Black Friday 2017 Ads
@fivetalents FYI- I received email from KM early this AM. When I clicked on link to the BF ad I noticed that the URL said 2016. So I didn’t post link to the ad not knowing if it was accurate.

RE: AMEX OFFERS: $5 on $25 Petco, $10 on $40 Etsy, $5 on $10 FedEx, $10 on $50 GNC.com, $10 on $50 ON/Gap
@barrytuneup I don’t know where you get pet food for less – unless its a supermarket/Target/Walmart.
I posted this in Pet Thread but here’s what I did this past Sunday.
- Activated the Amex offer.
- On Petco website, activated the $10 back in Pals Rewards wyb $30 dog or cat food.
- Printed $10/$30 email coupon from Petco.
- Went to the store. Bought a $25 Petco gc, paying with Amex.
- Bought 2 bags of Science Diet, RR $28.99, price matched to dot.com $22.
- Used $10/$40 Science Diet coupon found attached to the shelf.
$44 - $10/$40 Science Diet coupon - $10/$30 Petco coupon = $24 paid using Petco gift card.
Have already received $5 credit from Amex.
Have already received $10 Rewards from Petco.
Net $9 for $58 worth of food. -

@myisland I signed up for card this past weekend, giving a birth date in November. Today I received a 15% off coupon birthday card.

RE: Free Photo Session for Your Cat wyb Arm & Hammer cat litter
@frugalfreak I bought a box of Clump & Seal to cash out Petco Pals Rewards. Mixed a little bit in to our fave (Precious Cat) over a few months. Wasn’t so bad.
I agree that the litter in the baking soda yellow box isn’t very good but I’d probably use Clump & Seal over Tidy Cats. About to try Slide-- buying with Pals Rewards and submitting for MIR.
-
RE: Free Photo Session for Your Cat wyb Arm & Hammer cat litter
@mommyofhandk I think the cats would be the least troublesome They won’t try to take off their clothes!
-
Free Photo Session for Your Cat wyb Arm & Hammer cat litter
Found peelies for new offer wyb Arm & Hammer cat litter. A free photo session for your cat at JC Penney photo studio! Includes an 8x10 print.
Add yourself or another cat for $9.99.
Looks like you call to schedule the session then just show up with the peelie from the box or promo code and the receipt showing you bought the litter.
I wonder if 3 friends and I could show up with 4 litter receipts and have a group session.
Getting them to sit still would be the challenge.

RE: BUZZ CLUB (Big Lots) Improvements, get $5 reward with every 3 purchases, plus other perks
@mistercheap I picked up info in the store today. You can earn max of $50 Reward within a 7 day period (Sun.-Sat.) . While weekly ad effective dates are Saturday to Saturday I’m guessing Reward week is Sunday - Sat.
I don’t eat breakfast cereal but my Dad likes Corn Flakes. He’s gonna get a bunch for Christmas. Raisin Bran was $0.25.

Does anyone here use Turbo Lister?
I’ve been using Turbo Lister to store my eBay templates. I’ve backed it up periodically. In the past few weeks have not been able to open it nor the back up due to a script error. I checked eBay Help forums and read this thread.
I was one of those migrated to Seller Hub who hated it so was “reversed”. All I want is a way to keep the text & formatting of my listings. HTML would be fine.
First I’m going to try the fix that allows one to get back into the files.
Once I get back into the file what’s the best way to save my listings? While I’ve hundreds of items in TurboLister I don’t expect to want to save more than perhaps 25 of them.

RE: FREE Hills Science Diet Dry Dog & Cat Food Bags At PetSmart W/ Print Coupon PetPerks Members
@dangeruss I’d suggest activating the Amex and Petco offers and hope for another Petco coupon for BF. Maybe buy a Petco gc on Amex in advance cuz maybe your oop will be < $25 as mine was so you don’t have to worry about the $25 spend for Amex.
The only NV I’ve bought was a pkg of “toppers” when I needed a filler to use a $ off coupon. Haven’t topped any bowls yet… still working on 2016 stuff.
-
RE: FREE Hills Science Diet Dry Dog & Cat Food Bags At PetSmart W/ Print Coupon PetPerks Members
@dangeruss Well the $10 back in Rewards is a month long offer and you can stack that with the Amex offer by simply buying $30 worth of food and paying with your Amex. Easy to create a new Pals accts. Get one for every Amex card you have. Even without the Amex $10 back in Rewards is nice.
I feed ProPlan True Nature because when it came out there were a lot of coupons for it-- manufacturer and a $10 Petco coupon stacked. Can still get it for quite cheap with coupons so I pick it up when there’s a deal and have it stockpiled by expiration date.
Never see great coupons for Nature’s Variety but if there were we’d be feeding NV.

RE: FREE Hills Science Diet Dry Dog & Cat Food Bags At PetSmart W/ Print Coupon PetPerks Members
@dangeruss My largest cat is 20 lbs. The others are ~16 lbs. So we’re feeding ~ 65 lbs of cat a day, lol. We use a 2.5 lb bag a week. Those bags retail for $14.99 ea but because I’m an extreme shopper I pay $2-$5 per bag. When coupon shopping its usually cheaper to buy multiple small bags than one large bag.
The 7 lb bag of Science Diet is ~ $26.99 so I’d be paying $16.99 for something I just paid ~$5 for at Petco. The coupon this thread is about is now expired so I’ll go OT but here’s what I did yesterday, Nov. 5.
Petco has Pals Rewards with monthly offers. This month there’s a $10 back in Rewards wyb $30 in dog or cat food.
Amex has offer for $5 back wyb $25 at Petco, must activate.
Petco issued a $10/$30 coupon which expired yesterday.
There are tear pads at Petco for $10/$40 Science Diet.
Petco.com had Oral Care for $22 vs. store price $26.- Activated Amex offer and Pals Rewards offers.
- Purchased Petco gc at Petco paying with Amex.
- Purchased 2 bags of Oral Care, price matching to dot com, so $44.
- Handed over $10/$40 Science Diet, then the $10/$30 Petco coupon.
- Surprise. Another $3 Petco coupon deducted from each bag by the register.
- Paid with Petco gc.
$52 worth of food for $20 on discounted gc, getting back $10 in Pals Rewards. Net $5/bag.
I have a 2nd Petco acct. Went to another store and did the same thing, this time paying with a Petco card I’d gotten at Rite Aid using Plenti Points. Since I’m getting back $10 in Pals Rewards that was sort of a $10 MM.
-
RE: FREE Hills Science Diet Dry Dog & Cat Food Bags At PetSmart W/ Print Coupon PetPerks Members
@msrazzle Our usual food Is Pro Plan but we add a few pieces of Oral Care to each bowl and use it for treats.
Just came from vet who asked what I was feeding for dental care. Satisfied when I said Oral Care. IDK if this is an issue just for cats because dog kibble is larger. -
RE: BUZZ CLUB (Big Lots) Improvements, get $5 reward with every 3 purchases, plus other perks
@lowpricewanted Check out Cheez Its at Rite Aid this week. Halloween packs dropped to 75% off today-- $2.50 per carton of 20 pks.
Check out locally owned lumber yards. Mine lets me have lumber tarps. They’re about 20’ long and 10’ wide. Not as strong as tarps that you buy but they’re waterproof, sturdy and free.
-
RE: FREE Hills Science Diet Dry Dog & Cat Food Bags At PetSmart W/ Print Coupon PetPerks Members
@msrazzle I tried again today using a different acct. Coupon still beeped, was again manually entered and I did receive the promised $10 off your next Science Diet purchase CRT coupon. Unfortunately its $10 off 6 lb or larger.
-
RE: BUZZ CLUB (Big Lots) Improvements, get $5 reward with every 3 purchases, plus other perks
@mistercheap Sure I’ll spend money if its something I like and use but there’s very little that I like and use that I can’t get without paying real money-- including gas. There’s nothing I want at Staples either but at least I can use Rewards to buy ink to resell. Not sure that there’s anything worth buying to resell at BL but will have to spend more time exploring.
-
RE: BUZZ CLUB (Big Lots) Improvements, get $5 reward with every 3 purchases, plus other perks
@mistercheap The cheapest thing I found on quick trip was 33¢ for Nissin cup of soup. I got Nong Shim for 90¢ since its something I use.
Sure there’s stuff to buy but its nothing I’d be buying normally so they’re winning by getting me to spend money I wouldn’t otherwise be spending. Even the Nong Shim was real money. Usually I order it from Amazon. I get Amazon gc for taste testing so I think of anything I get on Amazon as “free”.
Does the BL sales week run Sunday to Saturday? If I make more than 3 trips this week will it count towards next week’s Reward? I’d like to use 2 $5 Rewards and $5/$15 coupon on one purchase. Will I be able to do that?
-
RE: RITE AID L2C
@mrvietnam I think it belongs in the Grocery Drugstore forum. OT isn’t related to any deals at all.
