I just walked out Kroger empty handed. The GC coupon didn’t work right. It only took 1 $5 off. When I questioned manager/cashiers, I was told the coupon was misprinted as 5x cuz in the coupon details it said one time only. So I just told them to cancel the whole transaction.

@fivetalents I didn’t even known about that thread. For some reason i didn’t get alert for it. I actually was wondering why there’s no freebies this black Friday. I happened to be picking up an online order last Friday night and realized Macy indeed had their annual freebie thing but by then any good ones were all gone.

Does any of you participated in the Macy’s black Friday freebie rebate? The store cashier told me only one rebate form is needed for multiple rebate items and can mailed all in one envelope. But on the form it says each rebate needs separate form. Im not sure what should i do. TIA!

Yes but he’s looking to monetize Rite Aid bucks, so more is better actually when you’re trying to turn store credit to cash.

I wish I can use the CVS rewards buck for that but i think they show up as CVS coupon so forget that.

It says in the terms that the purchase and recycle needs to be in the same transaction, but like customer service told me early on when I called that is not actually the case. All that is required is the purchase happen in the same week as the recycling.

I’m a bit confused. This month’s special bonus requires to recycle and purchase in the same transaction, so how did you do your online in-store pick up? Did u call the customer service to manually issue the $40 like @Mrvietnam did with his first recycle (Nov 1)?

I bought their Highmark brand softsoap refill and some Tylenol cold medicine on clearance. You can also check Brickseek to see what clearance deals are out there. OD/OM also has a clearance section on their website.

What are you all buying to satisfy the $10 requirement? I’m running out of options. Have enough bounty or charmin or trash bags in stock at home already. Regular priced items at OD are terribly overpriced. When i recycled my cartridges last Wednesday i saw they have the 21ct Airborne gummies on clearance, so i bought two bottles to meet the spending requirement. Later i checked online and realized i could have got 42ct or 72ct for that price or even lower elsewhere. So much for the “clearance price!”

Made a 10.99+tax purchase yesterday and paid with 2 regular GCs – 2.32 remaining balance from GC1 counted (got $0.58 for 25% rewards) but 9.80 used from GC2 didn’t

GC1 starts with 63672602 (counted)
GC2 starts with 63672600 (didn’t count)

Finally saw someone else mention of this gc problem. I checked the gift card that i had the same problem before and sure enough, the gc number starts with 63672600.

@mrvietnam So this month we can recycle 40 cartridges and receive $160 rewards? Are you positive about this? I’m just a bit wary about OD rep’s competence. Sometimes they’ll make up stuff as they go.

Is this brand dependable? My gas mower is ready to give up, i think (it takes long time to retart the engine/motor after turned off , so becomes a nightmare if i need to stop the mower in the middle of mowing).

Update: well, just received a text 15 minutes ago saying the receipt image was blurry and asked me to resubmit a clear pic. So i uploaded a new pic and got the rebate in like 2 minutes! Good that i don’t need to return the product cuz i was worried if the store would make a fuss about the circle i drew over the product line on the receipt.

@mrvietnam How did u receive the virtual gc, in the email or text message link? If it was email, what did the email look like or what was the subject line?
I uploaded the receipt/upc on 8/15, but still have not received anything. No email or text message even acknowledging the submission. I’m concerned now, not sure if they received my upload, or if their email has gone to my spam folder which i have emptied already.

If you bought 2 at once and are submitting for 2, per the rebate 800#, they told me to attach BOTH UPC forms to the one rebate form.

Since I bought online at office depot. I attached the original packing list AND a print out of the order confirmation since the packing list doesn’t show prices paid.

@mistercheap yes, my gift cards are from $40 paper rebates and like i said i never had problem using them and were counted as normal spending until July 13. The gc i used on july 13 has the credit from a return, but i can’t be certain if that card was given to me by the store or was originally from one of the rebates because physically they are identical. Also, i vaguely remember i asked them to put the credit into my existing gc (still had balance) instead of giving me another new card to carry. As far as calling the rewards department (which i did) it’s a total waste of time. Because they insisted both giftcards and rewards certificates had always been excluded from qualified purchases. I spoke to 2 reps and both said the same thing, that only cash, debit card and credit card purchases are counted as qualified purchase.

@mistercheap that is what i thought until july 13. So what’s the store credit look like? Exactly like the store gc? Cuz what i have and used is just the ordinary OD gc. I got them all from last year’s mail in rebate , except for one from online order return in store. But physically its identical to the regular OD store giftcard.

Mister C or Mister V – Are you aware that OD gift card is treated the same as OD reward certificate, that is, doesn’t earn rewards or counted for $10 regular purchase for ink recycling purpose? I had always thought that OD giftcards are treated same as cash or cc payment methods (and always worked so for me before). But my most recent purchase ( july 13) at the store using OD gc didn’t earn reard or qualify me for the ink recycling. I thought maybe OD just changed their policy so i called the customer service to confirm, but the rep told me OD gc payment has always been disqualified for rewards or meeting ink recycling requirements (which i know was not true prior to July). I’m puzzled and don’t know what’s going on with OD.
