This is a fantastic price. The only warning I can give is that some of the reviews talk about receiving these with… mold. One as recently as mid-September.

Amazon’s pretty good about giving refunds in those cases, but The More You Know™.

Right now, I’m a 3 card guy:

1. American Express Preferred ($75 annual fee) for 6% back on groceries up to $6K in spend annually, 3% on travel
2. Costco Visa (no AF) for 4% on gasoline on $7K(?) annual purchases
3. Citi Double Cash for 2% back on everything else

You can supplement with Discover and Chase Freedom if you want quarterly 5% cash back categories to slice-and-dice a little more.

Thoughts?

May be regional, so YMMV. If you have it, the gas savings is worth 12% ($6 discount). If you also have the Amex Preferred card with 6% cash back, then your final cost is $41 for each $50 restaurant gift card.

I didn’t sign up for the trial. It just took me to the page to buy the Audiobook and the price was $0.00.

You can also play it if you have an Echo by saying “Alexa, play Audible version of Anne of Green Gables” and it remembers where you left off. Pretty sweet.

@mrvietnam If you’re worried, I recommend using eBates in the future. Sure, it’s only 3% vs. 4%, but on $60 we’re talking $0.60. And I’ve had zero problems with getting cash back from them. I’ve heard Mr. Rebates is also good but haven’t used them in a while.
