@jtownsucks46 I would move a lot of my $$ to Merchants if they were more depositor friendly. There’s no way to make ACH transfers after the first one. You can make a mobile deposit, but you have to write a check to get money out. That’s not what I expect from an online bank. So, sadly for them, my money is going elsewhere.

RE: Best Nationally Available High APY Liquid Accountsposted in Finance
Email from NASB today:
At NASB, we actively monitor market conditions and other factors to make sure we are delivering competitive rates. This new, higher rate is something to celebrate!
Premium Rate Savings
3.56% APY*Your rate increase is effective and will be reflected in your online banking tomorrow.
Use the “Apply Now” button. Otherwise, it give you a message that the product isn’t available in your area. Weird.

@goldsheet I’m doing pretty much the same. Thanks for your list. I check it & PhatWallet daily to keep up. Opened a SalemFive account yesterday & started transferring Bask funds & then Bask goes up today, even high than SalemFive. Can’t win!! So I just spread it around & it all averages out. Moving everything under 3% now.

@jtownsucks46 Another site is showing this account (CFG Bank) limits ACH transfers to $5K daily, $30K per month. Anyone know if this is still the case? TIA

@jtownsucks46 Merchants is definitely the highest rate I’ve seen so far, but I have an account with them & it’s very difficult to maintain. It’s hard for me to transfer funds in, because my bank (BofA) charges a fee to transfer to an outside bank account. I realize that’s not the case for everyone, but just be aware of this. The info I got from Merchant’s a few months ago is as follows:
There are three ways that you can transfer to and from your account with us:
1.Wire transfer ( We will refund our wire fee in or out. You will just need to let me know that you are doing a wire so I can refund it)
- ACH ( You would need to initiate it through the financial institution that you are moving the funds from or to)
- Check. (You can mail a check to us and we will deposit it for you or you can write a check to move funds to you other financial institution)

@goldsheet Looked into this & doesn’t look like a great deal. You get 4% (for now) on $2K & zero on amounts higher than that. You can set up savings pods & get “interest” on each, but basic members can have only 1 pod & premium members can have 3. Interest is reported on a 1099-MISC, not a 1099-INT. At least this is my reading of it. It’s an interesting concept, just wish it was more expansive.
