I’ll have to try later. My initial attempt generates a “Save Failed” twice, apparently without attaching proof of purchase.
Before folks start complaining, I’ve used these in multiple places around my house for a couple years as I purchase them whenever I see them on sale (Black Friday, etc). Yes, non-dimmable but great for regular use and they are still going strong.

I misread the sign yesterday when I was in Lowe’s. I thought it was save $5 OFF $500 and I thought “Big Deal, 1% discount”. Doh!
I actually got one before it reverted back to the regular price.

Looks like a security certificate expired effective today (June 2nd). I came here looking for some explanation from the powers to be like when it will be renewed, etc.
I’m almost certain I’ve attempted twice in the past for a free sample and have yet to receive anything. I do admit once they replied that “due to overwhelming response” they ran out, etc. Oh well, that’s what ball point pens were made for.
Crud…said none within 100 miles of my location. HD can have folks walking around trying to sell me a new HVAC system or Solar installations but can’t have a broom when I want one!

There was an IHOP built and opened just prior, well within a year, of Covid. I drove past a couple of days ago and thought I saw a realtor for sale/rent sign posted on the front door. I suspect it will be one of the “nearly 100” closing.
FYI, I just received notice I received a settlement that was deposited in my PayPal account. I don’t recall adding PayPal info but vaguely recall submitting a claim for this.
I agree with Zerenia above. Keep an eye out and they offer, on occasion, “4 for $20” on some of their generic value brand products for discounts.

Thanks. I use flash drives for long term backup of valuable data so I need to go extra steps to help with reliability. Looks like:
- buy from reliable supplier who allows refunds
- look for signs of counterfeiting in packaging and drive. I ran across some things to look for by doing a search.
- Run H2testw suggested by zapjb if the drive is small enough so the test finishes in a reasonable time.
- Otherwise try the FakeFlashTest program
- Do a test of the data on the drive after creating the backup. How long to wait–a few weeks?
In my experience if teh size is faked the data will be corrupted immediately once you exceed the native capacity of the card. You should detect this earlier in your steps however. Actually I’d suggest in addition to above always make multiple backups of “valuable data” and if really valuable store in multiple locations. Three copies stored in your desk won’t do much good after a fire in the space.
I can’t answer directly but none of the HD’s near me really sell any furniture. However, I suspect it’s not something exclusive to them. Perhaps trying to search on the item name/model number or image would turn up another seller at a discounted price. If your heart is set on HD then I’ll bow out and let another person with experience on discounting their prices reply.

I must be one of the few folks here who really likes PayPal and really has never had a problem with them. Pay after delivery and, on larger purchases, 6 months no interest were welcomed by me. Mostly eBay purchases but a few other on-line retailers and never really a problem. Many moons ago an issue with an Off shore retailer but PayPal refunded without an issue.
Locally they are also having a “4 for $4” menu item but it’s in a lower corner of the menu board. I’ve oprder that far too many time to even admit but the burger for $1 is great.

Probably not the strongest reply especially at PhatWallet but why not split the difference and just round up your monthly payment so extra can be applied to principal each month?? I suspect at least one other person will lay out the math behind their response more succinctly but this has worked for me. How far you “round up” will be your decision but that way you still have cash and you can see your balance decrease more quickly.

I’d go to antennaweb.org and enter your address. It will show a map image of the directions to your broadcasting stations. Not sure why it worked in the past and not now but the breakup and no longer received is probably a lack of signal strength issue. I somewhat doubt the station reduced power or moved antenna but I guess it’s possible.
Oh great!! I just finished a container of said items a couple days ago. First I wonder how long before symptoms appear and then figure/hope it wasn’t from Caito of Indianapolis when I bought it in New Mexico at Albertsons. It’s already not functioning properly so pull the battery to shut it down. Depending on the make/model entering BIOS is often via different keys. Most common is Delete key, Sometimes one of the “F” keys (F2 seems popular) while powering up. I’m suspecting something corrupted in Win7. Normally one asks if there have been any programs installed recently that might have caused the issue but it appears your shut down issue has been around and now gotten worse.
Aw crap…Either deal dead or I clicked the wrong button. Teach me to look before clicking. I guess a $4.19 lesson is cheap enough.
