Burger King App: $1 Gets you: 8 Chicken Nuggets, Kids Meal including a Soft Serve Ice Cream Cone. YMMV no exp date known

Just recently, Burger King as added the SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM cone to the ‘sweets’ choices on the Free Kids Meal w/$1 purchase app offer.
They also have the 8 piece chicken nuggets for $1.
Add 8 nuggets plus the kids meal (burger, cheeseburger, Chix nuggets, choice of fries or onion rings, choice of drink inc frozen coke, or soda or kids milk shake and dessert, kids cone or cup)
I will say at my store, the soft serve cone you are given is the same size as the adult cone you get for 50cents.
It’s a huge amount of food for $1 and the free cone is worth 50cents (at least) to buy it by itself.

Nice deal. The $1 Whoppers and $1 large fries were unlimited. I ordered 3 Whoppers for $1 each and 2 large fries for $1 each. The free Kids meals with $1 purchase were limited to one offer per account though. A long time ago they used to be unlimited, too. I got enough food for a family of 5 for just $7 plus tax.

@mistercheap Yep been doing this for a while now. Have to slow down as we’re gaining too much weight.
I really suggest orange juice instead of any of the other drinks. In the past we tried to get chocolate milk, but they were always out, and the other drinks are not worth it. Orange juice is a minute maid juice sealed in a container. One store ran out of ice cream and when I said I wanted an orange juice instead, refused saying that it has to be the same value and that orange juice was worth $2-$3.
We usually get a cheeseburger and customize with extra veggies (depending on the store it may or may not cost extra). Sometimes adding regular tomato costs money, but if you switch it to extra tomato, it’s free.
We usually have several family members order at the same time and then pick up all the orders together. This weekend I went to pick up the orders that my family and some friends ordered, we got five orders together, and it took them maybe 10 minutes to make them. I had to go inside instead of going through the drive through, but they had no problem letting me pick up five orders for different people.
One time I went to another BK and had several free whopper offers (I believe a t-mobile tues and one of the promos Burger King was running), and I had ordered 2 orders under the same name. The manager was pissed, saying something like he’s not allowed to do 2 orders with the same name, he will get in trouble, something something. He did it for me, but chewed me out pretty good. I don’t go to that BK if I can help it, and I never place multiple orders under the same name at the same time in the same location.

couldn’t buy/make all that food yourself for that price. they don’t make any money on us, that’s for sure!

That much food at McDonald’s could easily be $20 or more. Burger King rocks.

You can always make more accounts
I did notice that the other day. I ordered and then something got screwed up in the app and it still had my order in the cart. I tried to check out again, but it said I couldn’t do it until 4pm the next day (and it was 1pm or so). So I guess roughly one per day per account?

You can get diet coke too of course, no calories in that. Juice has a lot of carbs/sugar in it. FYI, the ice cream is in the ‘sweets’ category, OJ is in beverage, so swapping one for the other doesn’t seem to make sense. I can see if you got another dessert offering if the IC was out.

That’s what I did. I have another account made for times like this. Great minds think alike.
Yes, it looks like the kid’s meals are one offer per day per account. Didn’t used to have a limit but they do now.

While the diet coke has no calories, I believe some studies have shown that it’s just as bad for you as it triggers an insulin release. Yes, juice has carbs in it, but I believe there are no added sugars, and I would rather have a small carton of juice then a cup of soda. The kids are the ones drinking it anyway, I usually just drink water.
Since I’ve been ordering for so long, I’ve had multiple occasions when they were out of stuff. Outside of a few select locations (like the one that yelled at me for 2 orders with the same name) they have been very accommodating, and I’ve never had a problem before. I believe I’ve even gotten OJ instead of the ice cream at other stores. Usually they don’t care, but this guy did. He must’ve been straight out of training or something. Like that staples cashier that refused to let me recycle 3 accounts back to back saying you can only have 1 reward account. No amount of explaining that this is other people’s accounts and I’m just helping them recycle helped, and I had to waste 30 minutes RT driving to another staples.

There is an upcharge on the kid’s meal if you get anything but the apple juice and I believe if you choose onion rings instead of fries there is an upcharge, too.

Not in my area, at least not on soda vs apple juice.
I don’t like BK’s onion rings so I never fool w/them, so can’t say on upcharge.

In my area there is a 40 cent upcharge when you change for soda instead of apple juice.

wow, that’s crazy. the kids size soda is barely 8 ozs. can’t imagine it costs them any more than the apple juice.

Between McDonald’s McCafe Monday and Burger King’s Whopper Wednesday, I’m going to be
brokefatfatter.

Not that I’ve seen, but this might explain why sometimes the $1 kids meal is showing up as anything up to $2 in some locations.

It costs them waaaaay less. I’m guessing the orange juice probably costs something like 10c and the soda costs a fraction of a penny.

It doesn’t show you an upcharge as it does, for instance, when you order extra tomatoes or lettuce, when you order, but at the very end when you are checking out and paying the amount due is not a $1 anymore and that is how you know there was an upcharge.

That sucks. I end up not buying from those places most of the time. They can at least make it clear which parts are causing the $ to go up.
