    @mrvietnam NO, Its different!

Unfortunately you can’t buy a gift card at Whole Foods and qualify. They are excluded.

I will probably buy $10 of items that have Ibotta rebates attached to them, like buy 2 bags of Pipcorn Crunchies snacks and for $8 and get $4 back from Ibotta (making them BOGO). Also some of the teas give $2.49 or $3,49 back wyb 2 (making them BOGO) from Ibotta.

Also, it looks like on Saturday’s they sell a Animal Welfare Certified Rotisserie Chicken for $6.

Go to https://www.wholefoodsmarket.com and click on Browse Products or Weekly Sales. If you don’t know what to buy, just search for pasta. Their 365 Everyday Value pasta for $1.39 for a 16 ounce package is not bad.

  • @mrvietnam About that Animal Welfare Certified Rotisserie Chicken…is it local? Is it named Colin?

    How did you know?

When I log into my Amazon acct it says Whole Foods Market is not available for this address.
But it also says that you can shop in-store or on Whole Foods Market on Amazon.com or Prime Now.
So, can this be done online only?
I’m thinking of getting a free Prime trial starting next week. If I do that could I get the Whole Foods $10, Small Business $10 and $5 watch a video credit?

  • Global Moderator

I will meet my $10 purchase tomorrow by buying 2 of their large cheese pizzas. Each Friday Whole Foods lowers their price from $13 to $6 for a large cheese pizza.

  • Does WF sell Amazon GCs? Do they qualify for this promo?

  • 500 Club

    @sonofzeus g.c don’t count

Are any items excluded from purchases to make a qualifying Whole Foods Market order of $10?

Alcohol, taxes, tips, stamps, gift cards, delivery fees and regulatory fees (including California Refund Value and bottle deposits) do not count toward the $10 minimum. See all terms and conditions below.

  • Q2. What’s WF’s current return policy?

  • 500 Club

@sonofzeus IDK about Whole Foods but a regular supermarket takes back things that have clearly not been opened and can’t be tampered with. Obviously don’t get a perishable.

You can’t find $10 in groceries? Even if over priced I’d get $10 worth of anything-- eggs, milk, coffee, cheese, olive oil, nuts, etc. and use the $10 credit to buy a 3rd party g.c. I wish there was a Whole Foods in this state. I’ve never been in a Whole Foods but I presume its sort of like a Trader Joe’s? I’ve been in a TJ once…

Covid-19 has nuked grocer’s return policies.
I’m not gonna enrich Jeff …ever.

@sonofzeus If you spend $10 on something from WF and use the $10 credit to buy a 3rd party gc that you can actually use, how is that enriching Jeff (whoever Jeff is)?

  • @my4mainecoons Jeff is the Fearless Leader @ Amazon/WF/WaPo/Blue Origin.

@sonofzeus I didn’t know that one person owned all those things. You’re more principled than me 🙂 I’m doing it for me. I average ~ 6 Amazon purchases a year. I get the 30 day Prime trial for Prime Day then I cancel it.

I’ll be doing the $10 credit for small business deal to get shipping labels. Got my last box using Staples Rewards. After the $10 credit they’ll cost me $3 which is ~ same as 30 empty ink cartridges. So I think it ends up being about the same. Hoping to use the $10 Prime Day credit on a Shaw’s gc. Pay w/5% back Discover card so net will be $3 for labels and $23 for $25 worth of groceries. If I could do the WF deal I’d get $10 worth of groceries I could use and use the credit on a Shaw’s gc.

Just picked up their cheese pizzas for $6 each ($13 rr) and I am pleasantly surprised. They taste good and they are HUUUGE. About 50% bigger than a Little Ceasar’s pizza and about the same price, but these from Whole Foods actually taste good, unlike at Little Caesar’s. Great and tasty way to meet the needed $10 spend.

Within minutes I got the “You’ve got $10 to spend for Prime Day” congratulations e-mail.

Your recent Whole Foods Market purchase earned you $10 to spend on Prime Day, October 13 & 14. Tap the button below to claim the $10 credit.
Mark your calendar - it’s only for Prime Day.

    Claim your credit

How do I load the $10 credit into my Amazon account?
Click “See your offers” under your Prime QR code and click “Claim your $10” on the Offers page in the Whole Foods Market or Amazon shopping apps. The $10 credit is automatically loaded into your account once you’ve claimed it, and your $10 credit will be ready to spend from October 13 through October 14th.

When can I use my $10 on Amazon?
The $10 credit is valid from 12:00 am (PST) October 13, to 11:01 pm (PST) October 15, 2020. Prime Day Deals start October 13. The credit won’t be applied to purchases on Amazon.com prior to 12:00 am (PST) October 13. See all deals at amazon.com/primeday.

What is the Amazon credit good for?
The $10 account credit is good for purchases on Amazon.com or the Amazon shopping app on products sold by Amazon.com (look for “sold by Amazon.com” on product detail page). Products sold by third-party sellers or other Amazon entities will not qualify for this offer, even if “fulfilled by Amazon.com” or “Prime Eligible”. It does not apply to gift cards, alcohol, subscriptions, tax, shipping costs or Prime Now orders.

How do I redeem my credit on Amazon?
Once you have claimed the credit through your Whole Foods Market or Amazon shopping apps, the $10 credit will be automatically applied when you add qualifying items to your cart and complete the purchase during Prime Day October 13 – October 15, 2020, 11:01 pm (PST). In your Order Summary at checkout, you’ll see the discount under the label “Whole Foods Credit”.

How can I check to see if I have the credit in my account?
Check your status any anytime by visiting: Amazon.com/primeday10 or check the Promotions page in the Whole Foods Market or Amazon app.

Do I have to be a Prime member?
Yes, this offer is just for Prime members.

What if I share my Prime benefits through an Amazon household?
Each linked account in an Amazon Household account can receive the $10 credit by making a qualifying $10 Whole Foods Market purchase as described above. Offers can be redeemed once per customer.

I earned the $10 WF credit. I added something to my cart and it applied $4.99 Whole Food Credit.
Do I have to use the whole $10 at once or with they remember that I still have $5.01 left?

I also have $10 Prime Savings applying. Any idea what that is?

@dangeruss How do you know that’s the Small Business Credit?
So then I added a $25 Shaw’s supermarket g.c. and the system used my available Amazon g.c balance.
I have a lot of Amazon g.c. so I won’t be doing this transaction before I add more but now I have a $5 credit as well. Is that for watching video? Why didn’t it apply the entire $10 Whole Foods credit?

@my4mainecoons I’m guessing you used $5.01 on a previous order.

  • 500 Club

@dangeruss No. Haven’t used any of my credits at all.

eta: when I change to a $50 gift card the $4.99 doesn’t change. When I add a non-gift card item to the cart the Whole Foods credit goes up to $10. I wish I understood the rules of this game.

Different credits have different exclusions. There seems to be a max number of discounts/credits per transaction as well.
