Along with getting this coin for free, they mail you coins for your examination and you have to mail them back if you don’t want to buy them and YOU pay for the return postage. I bought things from this company before. One time they sent me a free uncirculated $2 bill if I agreed to look at currency items they sent to my on approval. The only downside is you have to pay the return postage, so I recommend you cancel the service after you send back the first round of coins on approval (if you are not truly a coin collector). Mailing coins back might get a little expensive.

I’ve received promo items from Littleton previously.
They shipped additional coins for my inspection.
I returned the unordered c*ap with free stamps from OD.

Note: some states now charge sales tax on coins and currency.
That uncirculated $2 bill could cost you $2.20!

For this deal, unless you are really interested in coin collecting and want to make purchases, it will cost you more to mail their samples back to them then the 50 cents you get for the “free” half-dollar. So it is not really free.

Got the packet from Littleton today. It contained:

1972 Eisenhower Dollar Circulated $4.85

Prepaid label and return envelope.

got mine and sent it right back in the padded envelope they sent to me with the invoice and all the coins, catalog, etc. Put the prepaid mailing label on and dropped at post office. I put cancel do not send anymore on the invoice. I didn’t even look at what they sent me.

@mrvietnam Littleton provided a USPS prepaid label with TRACKING NUMBER. I paid nada. I kept a copy of the label for my records. If Littleton messes with me, I make big money. I’m an attorney (and so much more).
