What is the possibility of the “Two-day grace rule” being applied to the One Cent coupon?

I got four reams for $.01/ea (after rebate) today without needing a coupon.

Sales tax kills the deal not to mention I have about 20 cases in the garage. I guess with 5% rewards, I would effectively only be paying a 2.75% tax rate though. This would be a good way to monetize Staples gift cards.

I just got back from Staples, and the cashier wouldn’t scan the coupon, pointing to a big sign that says 1-cent after rebate.

I went since the paper was 1 cent, and I wanted some sharpies for 8 cents each, and had a $5 free coupon, otherwise I wasn’t going
The store was empty, except for one woman buying $25 each plastic totes to slide under a bed, boy was she getting jobbed
I’m getting at, wow has the sizzle left Staples when they cant even draw people unless they are giving things away, and not even thenOffice Depot had cheaper paper, 3 reams for a penny total after rewards

Too bad 4 ya’ll on closed locations
I have two very close and another 8 miles away, since I figured out how to roll their rewards, they have been of some use to me recently, until that loophole closes.

Not too bad in my book considering the rebates come back to me as cash and not rewards that I have to spend in their store.

When did staples change the rewards rules? I cant buy the $39.99 FAR Mcafee with a $40 Rewards online because it leave me at negative 1 cent. In the past didn’t you just forfeit the left over balance when used online?

I thought it would allow it, but not issue any “balance coupon” Guess It’s been a while since I used one online…

The original order will have to be refunded, so it would not have accomplished anything. If you’re worried about the store not having one in stock, a kiosk order can be placed without shipping charge.

Just want to use my rewards. No stock on the shelf, but online shows 4. Manager at local branch is an a$$ and will falsely claim zero inventory on FAR items even when they have it. So in my case, I might order w. CC online for pick up, then just cancel/re-buy in store to use up rewards.
