Expired - CVS brand AA or AAA Alkaline batteries 48-pk $1.99 each-YMMV--B&M only

  • CVS has their store branded AA and AAA 48-pk alkaline batteries on clearance for $1.99 each. In store only and not every store has them so your mileage may vary. They’re in a cardboard package marked “19.99 Value Pack”.
Here’s the Brickseek inventory checker for each. CVS Brickseek for me is hit or miss. It showed more in stock than I was able to find. These batteries may either be in the photo lab section or in the toy section. They’re not usually with the other batteries on a big display.
    AA SKU-177467
    AAA SKU-271107

  • No luck here. Still $13.99 for the AA batteries at my local store.

Did you price check? Always price check, can use the coupon kiosk thing to scan items for price, don’t need cashier.

Yes. The employee that showed me where the batteries were located had a scan gun, and checked for me.

  • Scored today…none real close, showed 24 at a further location…as someone else mentioned, not with the other batteries…guy checked for a 48 pk, showed none available…I told him there are 24 here…gave him the sku no…bingo…he said now I know why you’re here…he asked the manager, there’re at the back room…still in the box…I asked how much is it showing, he said $1.99…I said give me 4…he said I gotta get in on this…the photo lady overheard and said let me get some too…they were more excited than I was…I revised it to 6…he came out with 4 because it was heavy…I told him 4 is fine, what am I going to do open up a store…expiration date was 2027…

At my local store they were selling one flavor of Blue Diamond almonds - the Korean BBQ flavor - for only $1.40 for a 6 oz can. It normally goes for $5.39 or something close to that.

Wow, I would have bought a lot of them, say 8 cans! I like nuts, have a dozen variety’s, I eat a handful everyday, its nutritious, and good for your heart!

The salt is probably not that great for your heart…

  • dangeRuss,
I rotate the 12 variety’s of nuts, I only have half a handful. It’s only a little salt. My blood pressure is normal. I’ve been doing this for a long time. I don’t salt my food, even when I cook meat, and chicken. I use non salt, spices instead!
