Double dip with the JnJ BTS rebate
-
@my4mainecoons I doubt you can submit the same receipt for both.
-
Thanks, OP. Just signed up, earned 950 points right away. Hoping to get the Visa cards. There is a limit of 2 rewards per account, and 1 account per household.

I think you can actually, we did it (as in phat members) during a similar rebate earlier in2023.

@my4mainecoons I doubt you can submit the same receipt for both.
Yes you can. I’ve done it at least 3 years.
The JnJ rebate has to have the entire purchase in a single transaction.
The Listerine-only rebate accepts multiple receipts.
I do it at Rite Aid when there’s a Bonus Cash offer for Listerine. Usually that means getting $30 in Listerine in a transaction. Then submit 2 @ $30 receipts for the Listerine rebate.
-
At Rite Aid: BC offer for Listerine the week of Aug. 13-19; $6BC wyb $12. Buy $30 in a single transaction.
Use a $5/$25 (?), cat q’s, whatever you have.
Use $1/1 mq’s (exp. 8/19) and $1/1 RA snail mailer q’s. Maybe a L2c?
Earn $12 BC and submit for TWO rebates. JnJ BTS rebate, $10 wyb $30 in one transaction and Listerine Ace Your Checkup $10 wyb $30.
L2 rebates per address for both rebates.
$30 less whatever q’s you have, earn $12BC & $20 rebates.I have a lot of points from the 10x points sale and will be converting some to BC to cash out with these rebates.
-
@my4mainecoons the coupons won’t count against your spend for the rebate?
-
@dangeruss No. JnJ doesn’t penalize for coupon use.
-
@my4mainecoons but I assume using store pickup would be a problem since it will reduce the prices? So something like this wouldn’t work?
-
@dangeruss The problem is the BOPUS receipt shows each item at 30% off and not the pre-discount price: $5.94 + $5.94 + $5.94 + $5.94. It doesn’t show 4@$8.49 =$33.96 - $10.19.
Haven’t you received any cat q’s?
My plan: $33.96 + $1.04 filler -$7/35 cat Q - 4@$1/1 mq = $24
3@$8.49 + $5.29 = $30.76 -$5/25 - 4@$1/1 mq = $21.96
Since my receipt will show >$30 before discounts it will qualify for the rebates.

Can I just log in to my old account for this that I used last time or is it best to create a new account with a new e-mail address? I did all the bonus activities from the Ace Your Check Up rebate and they are showing up on the home screen of the JnJ BTS rebate.

You sure? I think this may be why we’re getting the rejection emails, you’re only allowed one account per household and it sees the old account.

Yes, my receipt for the JnJ BTS rebate came back there was an error with my submission, so I need to contact them.
Perhaps this rebate doesn’t work like it used to work before.
Also in the other rebate I am being penalized for in-store retail coupon use where before I wasn’t.
Maybe I should have used a new name and address this time around. From what Maine said I thought it didn’t matter…
-
I just sent a message to the EarnRewards (JnJ BTS) rebate because a couple hours after submitting my receipt, I got an e-mail back from them saying: “There was a problem with your receipt submission.” I asked them exactly what the problem is.

Walgreens has a great deal on this this week. Spend $10 on Listerine, get $5 walgreens cash. There is also a spend $25 on select oral products, get $7 wc, and any personal boosters you may have.
I got 3 Listerines, $10.99, $9.49, and $9.99 plus some vitamins for $13.49. Got $15 for the listerine, $7 wc for the oral care, $7 for a digital booster, and a bonus $9 paper booster off $40. That’s before these online rebates. Rather a nice money maker.

If you used the $9/40 on the order you speak of lowering your total, you may get penalized by the Listerine rebate processor. All my rebates (J&J and Listerine) were dinged for coupon use at Rite Aid even though the T&C makes no mention of coupon use lowering your total. Kinda shady, but be prepared if you don’t get full credit.

It’s $9 in Walgreens cash, not a comes off the order coupon. The total was $44, got $38 back in wc. Plus just got the $10 rebate in today’s email.

I don’t know if you have to be registered at Walgreens as a ‘senior’ member (e.g. AARP member), but code SENIOR20 takes 20% off regular priced merchandise, today only (8/26/23)

OK, good job! wasn’t sure the way you posted it on the $9 cat. ($9 to spend after or $/$$ type catalina off the total)

I got $10 gc for $30 before Qs on 4/5 BTS rebates and $30 towards Listerine rebate on my RA purchases. Dinged on 1 BTS rebate for Listerine q use.
Paid $22.86 after Q’s, earned $12 BC and received $10 BTS and $30 credit towards Listerine. $10MM on 3, $5MM on one. If I buy Listerine again next week I will add those receipts to earn a $15 gc.
The submission on which I used my name, address & my4mainecoons email was flagged. I had to provide proof of residency (electric bill) before they issued 2@$10 gc codes. I’ve lived here > 20 years and used that email for as long.
