I have a limit of 20 carts/month. With this deal can I recycle 30 carts and get 400 hundred points for the first 20, and 500 points for ten?
Or is it 500 points for ten, plus 400points for ten more?Update: I guess several of us had the same / similar question.

I don’t trust the system to apply 2 codes at the same time correctly as we saw with tech & ink overlap. I think I’ll do 10 @500 in one transaction then my regular 30.

you’d know right away on your receipt or in the app how many points are credited. no risk that I can see to find out.

@mistercheap IDK if its still this way but initially if you recycled eg 10 ink & a tech item you’d receive credit for 9 ink and the tech. The system counted an ink towards tech. I don’t want to give my regular 30 and get credit for 10 @ 500 and a tech item. I’m going to use the pre-loaded offers before the regular one.

Yea I always do the tech first in a separate transaction and then the ink. If you do them back to back yiu can double dip on the tech recycling sometimes too.

Recycled 1 battery and 10 empties for Ms SOZ and my accounts.
One hour later we got 5500 X2.
Shopping for Bounty etc now.

In the OP it says you must activate offer, but on both of my accounts the offer was pre activated.

In the orig. posting I saw about this, it did say to do so, thus my post. Obviously no harm/no foul if its already done for you. I sure hope Staples keeps running this from time to time, best offer they’ve had in the 6 months of the new ‘improved’ (cough cough) rewards program.

@mistercheap Great deal! I had already recycled 20 cartridges on the 2nd, getting my $40 in rewards. But took in an extra 10 cartridges today for another $25 in store money! And even got it credited to my account before I left the store! How cool is that? Not missing that old “second Thursday of the month” biz to get Staples rewards.!

I wasn’t sure how many I could recycle, so I brought in my limit of 20, I got home and checked my account. As expected, I got 500 points for 10 of them, 400 points for the next ten, and now I show that I can recycle 10 more: “Recycle up to 20 per month.* You have recycled 10 cartridges this month.**”
Plus 500 points for recycling a battery.

Update: I recycled 10 more cartridges and received 4000 more points.
