thx to @ohsheet for the KCUPS info
https://www.staples.com/lp/weekly-ad
Must activate the offer in reward account.

If the past serves as a track record, the offers will be preactivated, but you should check to make sure.
For clarity, MC, when does the previous offer cart recycling offer end? I did it 3 1/2 weeks ago on 12/2/24. The new offer you posted is supposed to start 12/29/24 and end 1/4/25, but when I look at my Staples app it lists a cart recycling offer (500 points a cartridge) and has it ending 1/4/25. Is that the new offer listed in my app or the old offer? They wouldn’t have two overlapping cart recycling offers going on at the same time, would they? I’m confused. Or are they just advertising the existing current offer, which looks like ends 1/4/25?
-
Recycling is a continuation of the offer which started a few weeks ago, NOT a new offer.

OK. Thank you for the clarification. I see then what they’re doing is just advertising an existing offer…

Thanks, added that info the OP so people don’t double redeem and get nothing on the 2nd batch.

@c3 we will have to wait and see, on Sunday. Most people are reporting (myself included), to have 2 points offers available on their Staples dashboard. So, they may overlap.

I think you may be right. I have two offers on my dashboard also and one says once a month at the top and the other one doesn’t so you might be able to do both offers.
-
I see 2 such offers on the desktop, but only 1 in the app. Has anyone actually gotten credits for more than 10 cartridges?
At the end of the offer details, there is a 6-digit number. I think that’s the offer number. Both offers have the same number: 201289.

I got 5000 on 12/1/24.
Will I be rewarded similarly if I recycle again on 12/29/24?

Really no risk because you are guaranteed to get at least fice dollars back for recycling 10 extra cartridges, which would more than pay for the cost of the 10 cartridges and give you a few dollar money maker.

@my4mainecoons not necessarily. 1st: the Kcups offer is brand new, there is some debate whether this ink recycle offer is a new one or just the same monthly as December 24. The KCUPS offer is only for the one week, not month long.

Now that Office Depot has run dry (pun intended) of case water sales, I have been using my $10 off $30 coupons that expire in a few days to buy case water over at Staples. Since Staples gives the points for practically free (just pay for the cost of the cartridges from eBay) I am not losing any money and making it more attractive by combining it with the soon-to-be expiring $10 off $30 coupons. The interesting thing is at one store they did not charge me CRV when paying with coupon/points and at the other store it charged me CRV on the case water but not on the individual jugs of water. Nice way to stock up on Arrowhead spring water.

Do kiosk order, order $60 worth, use $15 off $60, then $10 off $30, total $25 off $60. Can also get fancier water and PM, but the PM will dilute the $15 off $60.

Where do you get $15 off $60 coupons, I believe the $10 off $30 are for in-store purchases only. Does a kiosk count as an in-store order? I thought Staples stores didn’t have kiosks anymore. I don’t remember seeing them at my local stores. Staples allows to stack xx/xx coupons?

@mrvietnam the $15/$60’s are from emails.

Thanks! I haven’t been using the $15/$60’s. Nice to know how to stack them!
I get my annual Maine Coon calendar from Staples kiosk. PM to cheapest online ($22 vs $14 this year) and toss in an in-store filler (Ziploc bags, Kleenex 3-packs) so I can use a $10/$30. Resell the fillers.Lol “dilute” the water deal.

Resell the fillers. There are currently 2 active $15 off $60 which are stackable and in theory $10 off $30 on top of it (and any in store promos that are going on, for example if they have $10 on every $50 spend, you can buy $140 worth, use 2 $15 off $60, then $10 off $30 and pay $100 and get $20 back. (The $10 on $50 was limit $200 in spend and one time use, so you might want to get something for $240 to max it out, but you obviously get a smaller discount. You can also PM, but the PM reduces the online coupon value (but the in store one is still good). Also those 15% off in store from way back when are still valid until 12/31, but personally I don’t love how they get applied. You can do a battery deal, $75 worth of batteries, $15 off $60, $10 off $30 and $50 back in points. Doesn’t have to be duracell either, but the specialty batteries might involve a CSR reach out, but so far they’ve given me the points.
-
I just bought a $275 mini fridge with Rewards. Too bad I didn’t know to stack. I used a 20% off breakroom code instead.
Why do you say there are 2 $15/$60’s? Aren’t there as many as one has emails that receive them?

Kiosk counts as in store, which I learned the hard way when I didn’t get a bunch of points that had online only offer in easy rewards. Kiosks have been taken away but they can now place the order for you at the register (either on the actual register or a tablet/phone). The online coupons need to be put in as part of the order process and then you can add whatever items, do PM, and use the $10 off $30 at the register.

Not sure what you’re saying here. but water online is not $5 a case like it is in store and Kiosk orders are considered .com orders. While you can price match from .com to store prices, I’m not sure it works the other way around. Be careful here, as the KCups won’t be free after rewards on a kiosk order, the order number is a staples.com order #.

@dangeRuss I would double verify everything you are saying here. While shipment orders placed in store may not generate online rewards offers, they won’t generate in store rewards offers either. they are assigned a unique order # via the .com shipment network.
It’s ok to do on ‘non’ promo items but anytime there’s a rewards offer involved on specific instore or online items ordered, be careful thinking you’ll get them via the new ‘kiosk’ method.
-
Just a reminder if you are doing the 100% back for KCUPS.
It’s very possible, few if any will be ‘on sale’, so at full price, you’re not going to get that many for $50. Be sure to price match what stock in store your find to other websites like office depot, amazon, target, etc. so you can get a decent amount for free a/rewards on $50 spend.
Also if you have discover or amex points you can redeem for Gift Cards. Discover gives a 15% discount, $25 EGC for $21.25 in CB funds and you can print out immediately to use in store (don’t get plastic option)
-
@MrVietnam fyi, case water that is $4.99 in store is $14.50 online, so I doubt you’ll get a kiosk order for $4.99 per case. But you can try!

Back from Staples!
Just recycled a battery to get the $10/30 coupon, remember, they may stop printing out after 12/30 so be sure to get there today or tomorrow to guarantee yourself a Q.
I didn’t do any inks, simply forgot to bring any or else I would have tried one like others mentioned.
I bought $60.99 worth of KCUPS, less $10, less $45 in gc’s for $5.99 oop, getting back $50 in rewards (already credited).
I did PM to office depot, and was over by 99c which I didn’t mind as it’s hard to hit $50 exactly or else I’d only be at $44 with another combo and leave $6 of free Kcups on the table.
But stock on certain brands was low, Green Mountain and Dunkin had the most inventory. But if people are going to take advantage of this deal, sure stock will be an issue later in the week at many stores, so don’t hold off too long is my advice.
