Big changes coming to the DUNKIN rewards program with not much notice, effective 10/6
-
Points will now expire after a year.
-
Cold Brew redemption nearly doubles from 500 to 950 points!
-
You can redeem points now for ‘free items’ that will be valid for 30 days in your offers area, or stagger redemptions between now and early October so you can extend how long they are valid for.
see chart for new redemption amounts and link for full details on program changes

Thank for the head’s up. I’ve got over 4k points banked up, will have to ponder my options.

Easy decision for me. I had been getting a large cold brew with my points, that’s going from 500 to 900 points.
I have 6K points (about 12 drinks, banked from the free Aven $5 gift cards I was getting and various booster promos). Between now and 10/5 I will redeem all 12 for free cold brews, already did 1 today. so between now and 11/5/25 I’ll be getting about 2 free ones per week. I can handle that. The redeemed reward is valid for 30 days and just sits in your offers panel awaiting use.

Yep, cold brew is my wife’s favorite to redeem for, too.

A little off-topic, but since this thread is about Dunkin’ Donuts. I bought a dozen Dunkin’ Donuts for the first time in a long, long time yesterday around 5 PM and they were expensive and they didn’t taste very good. Tasted kind of day old. I guess I was eating donuts they most likely made in the early morning…
-
Yeah, DD has been much more about beverages than donuts over time. The donuts are ok, not anything special.

That late in the day, I ask them to sell them to me at 1/2 price. They throw out most of what they don’t sell at closing. Some stores will do it, especially if they have a ton still on the shelf.
If you ask nicely, its worth the gamble, worst they can do is say no. (I have purchased muffins and bagels like that, not a big donut person, but I can confirm I’ve gotten deals on baked goods after 4 or 5PM, again based on closing time (usually 8 or 9) and how much they didn’t sell.

One thing they do have which I think is outrageously good and worth it is their Coffee Cake Muffin. Far more satisfying that a donut, can cut it in 1/2 eat part now, rest later.
