I looked in my local ad and I don’t see any mention of the buy $25 and select gift cards and get a five dollar on your next order voucher. I assume there’s nothing to clip on just for you to get that deal. I’m not saying it mentioned in just for you either. That doesn’t mean the deal won’t work at the register. Maybe I’ll try it out anyway. Anyway, of attaching a screenshot of the advertisement inside the ad for the offer? I want to get more details about the participating brands and things like that.

Answering my own question here, but it looks like the variable load amount for a ZIFT gift card is $20-$500, so you could easily buy a $25 ZIFT gift card and do this offer as many times as you wanted to as long as there’s not a just for you coupon you have to click to activate it making it limited use.

I have a credit card that gives me 3% cashback at grocery stores, so it looks like I can get 23% off Amazon, unlimited, as long as I can figure out how to spend all those five dollar coupon coupons that will print out on the receipts in time.
Not the best ZIFT deal they’ve had before for sure as I don’t see any boosters on just for you this week at least, but 23% isn’t bad to stock up a little bit.

I assume the $5 grocery vouchers you get back have two week validities to spend them.
Since this deal isn’t listed in my local ad here in Southern California, I think I’ll just buy one $25 ZIFT gift card as a test case and see if I get the five dollar voucher or not. I know in previous ZIFT deals it also wasn’t listed in Southern California, but it still worked, so I’m hoping this offer is no different.

It’s a recurring offer that has been showing on Saturdays. It might be valid Sunday, too, but the offer doesn’t appear until Saturday. It basically gives 4x points instead of the typical 2x points of any/all gift cards, unless there is a specific offer that is better on a particular card (for example, there is currently a 10x deal on Red Robin cards).

The 4x j4u points offer can be clipped starting at midnight on Saturday and is valid Saturday and Sunday only. Doesn’t apply to VC, MC, gas, phone and Albertsons store cards.
All of the $5/$5 will have the same expiration date, the end of the promotional period.

Well, the deal was not in the ad nor was it marked on the shelf, but it worked anyway. I did back to back transactions at the self checkout for $25 for each ZIFT card and I got back the five dollar off five dollar coupon on both receipt. The coupon expires on March 31, 2026. I plan on getting a bunch more because it’s nice to be able to get 23% off Amazon plus I get 100 points and those posted flawlessly also for each $25 card. Not quite as good as past offers, but I’ll take it.
It’s interesting. I read the terms of the five dollar off coupon and it says it’s not redeemable at self checkout lanes so you have to redeem it with the cashier.
Actually, when purchasing the ZIFT gift cards at the self checkout lanes it lets you enter how much you want to put on it on the variable card, but to complete the transaction the person manning the self checkout lanes has to scan his ID or else the transaction won’t complete.

@mrvietnam unless it’s changed, they do work at SCO but the $5 doesn’t show until the very end. The screen shows $0 taken off but the $5 comes off when you finalize.
If you want to test it, ring up the transaction, scan the $5/$5 and drop a piece of scrap paper in the coupon slot when prompted. Finalize. If it worked then drop the $5/$5 in the coupon slot. If it doesn’t work tell the SCO person what happened. Explain that you didn’t drop the Q in initially because you wouldn’t be able to retrieve it if it didn’t work.
One isn’t supposed to be able to purchase GC at SCO. When I do it I use a register next to the SCO person’s area to make it easier for both of us.

Picked up 4 x $25 Zift cards on Saturday. No issues, got 400 points on 4 and all the $5/5 coupons. paid w/Discover for another $5 back in cashback.
Even used one on Saturday since I had some rain checks. Nice that you don’t have to wait to use them like you do at ShopRite on their GC deals.

actually, more than that if you count the points as money. each $100 (4 x $25) in GC purchases puts you at 400 points towards the $20/20 offer at 1200. Thus another $6.66 in value on 400, so very close to 30% back.

Yes, the 4x offer has been going on for months, maybe years. You just have to remember to check on Saturdays to clip it.

Good point MC. I plan on getting three more $25 gift cards to earn 300 more points because right now I have 900 points from this deal and if I get 1200 points, I can redeem for the $20 back on my basket. So I’ll have to do the math to find out the exact percent off, but it is more than 23% maybe closer to 30% as you say. I wish they had the 10 times in points for Zillow’s gift card offer like they had in the past, but maybe it’ll return at one point.
Also, about the five dollar off coupon even purchases made today. It shows an expiration of March 31. And I found out that you cannot use the coupon at self checkout and even says that on the coupon because if you try to use it at a self checkout station it’ll show that it’s been used, but it just won’t take the five dollars off. I explained that to the self check out person manning that area and they dug out my coupon from the coupon box in the machine and said it should work at a regular checkout and sure enough I bought something else and used at a regular checkout and the five dollar coupon worked. So even though I scanned the coupon at the self checkout, it still worked when I use it at a regular checkout, so by scanning it at the self checkout did not invalidate the barcode.
EDIT: I just did the math and it looks like when I factor in the $20 off coupon for 1200 points that the discount is about 29.33%, so not bad at all really. 29.3% back at Amazon is pretty good considering it’s a major retailer that almost never offers those kind of discounts.
Since I have to do the transactions back to back, I don’t want to bother the cashier or hold up the line. I don’t dare do more than two at one time (back-to-back) and if I do too many at the same store, I’m afraid they’ll become suspicious or something. Luckily the store is only a mile from home so I’ll just wait a few hours and then go back maybe once or twice today

Thanks for that observation. I didn’t notice that the coupon code was not unique. I guess they’re trying to stop people from scanning the coupon and then just putting a random piece of paper in the coupon box and then holding onto the original five dollar coupon to use over and over again.

FYI, I just noticed a tag on the gift card display at my local Jewel that says the Sat/Sun 4x offer ends 5/31. It also said the start date was 3/1, but the deal has been going on for much longer than that, so we shall see.
