Unfortunately the reviews on the clips for the sink are really bad. The sink itself seems to be OK, but the clips break easily during installation or shortly after from the weight of the sink, and Lowe’s says it has no replacement clips available.

Just a heads up - I am starting to hear that Lowe’s might end free shipping soon. Currently most items have free shipping, with no minimum. Until a year or so ago you used to have to pay for shipping unless the order was over $49.
I am hearing that sometime after Labor Day free shipping with no minimum might go away (you would have to spend $49 again), or only some items, probably light items, would have free shipping. I think we’ll find out in the next month or two what happens. I am sure Lowe’s is losing a lot of money on free shipping.

I dont want to give details but lowes has made some recent changes to their site that implies free shipping with no minimum is going away. I know lowes is putting a lot of focus on buying something online and picking up in store. To me, it doesnt make any sense at all to spend a lot of money trying to encourage people to pickup items in store, AND give them free shipping with no minimum. It just makes no sense. Why would I drive to a lowes store to pickup an item when I can get it shipped to home for free?
Based on what I am seeing I think within the next month or so there will be some changes, the most notable its free shipping with no minimum will go away, or only some items will have free shipping. I would expect changes coming soon.

@itsfriday I also expect a change on the free shipping, especially if Lowe’s has anybody analyzing the profitability of sales that involve packing and shipping clearance items for free. Often heavy items too (e.g. hammers) costing only a couple of dollars. And not just economy shipping either, but FedEx two day–at least that’s how it’s worked out for me. Not a sustainable business model if applied on any appreciable scale!
Then again, Lowe’s is such a giant corporation now with so many stores (over 2,000 in the U.S. alone) that I suspect it has outgrown much of its management reach, and stuff like this is tolerable as long as walk-in business pays for it. However, if they are really committed about becoming an online retailer (with store pickup), they have some serious work remaining to improve: a)-online inventory accuracy, b)-store pickup staffing, c)-online order communications

LOL, I have a 19-lb fox terrier who is an expert storm detector. You should be fine, I got 1 of these rooster rugs for $4 a month ago, and I got 2 coffee rugs for $2/each. Usually Lowes ships the item from a store near you, and according to my spreadsheet there are 596 in stock in stores, so I think you’ll be fine.

I just received both orders and strangely the colors are different. One is yellow the other is more like pink. The color difference is much more striking in real than on picture. Looks like i have to return one of them.

I have been updating my lowes alerts script a lot lately, and I think I’m ready to beta test. If interested message me your email address and a list of lowes stores you want me to check (up to 5 stores).
What my lowes alerts script does it check over 1,000 SKU’s at a list of lowes stores and it alerts me if something in stock drops below my trigger. So if something is $10 and I want to know if it drops under $5, I add the SKU to my script and set the trigger to $5. If it drops under $5 and is in stock I will get alerted.
The script runs every day at around 5am, and you will get an email that says “Lowes alerts for (date)”, and it will look like this:
