Now if there was just something worth buying at Staples…

@mrvietnam Are you being funny or did you really miss the last line of my OP? I wrote it just for you. 🙂

  • I had one Staples store last year, handout straight $10 coupons. It didn’t get used much (the recycling part), I think that may have had something to do with it. A big YMMV.

  • Got $10 coupon by giving them an outdated cordless phone that ate the rechargeable batteries.
BTW, The Sales Associate showed me a short list of acceptable items that was basically computers. I had to insist they accept the phone since it was included in the online list of acceptable items.

I gave them a coffee maker since the email said they take coffee makers. I walked in and mentioned that the ad said that and AM knew what I was talking about. Said he thought it was the first year they’d put that in the ad. This is a coffee maker I’ve had in the FREE box at my annual yard sale for several years and no one has wanted it. Happy to have it gone! Picked up $1k in Visa gc while I was there. (Chase Ink 5% back at office supply stores.)

I’m about $300 shy of Premier and deciding how to finish it off. I’ll probably buy ink this week since they’re giving 25% back in Rewards on $75+ ink purchases.

  • How long is this Staples E-Cycling Coupon good for?

I assume the Visa were $200 cards. Was the fee waived on all or just one?

@fulltimedad All-- because I purchase them one at a time.

For those who need it, ink is pretty good this week.
25% back in Rewards wyb $75.
$10 back from RMN wyb $100.
    (5% back from Chase Ink)
    $100 in ink - $25 Rewards - $10 RMN - $5 Chase
Of course the $25 Rewards isn’t really $25 cash since there are no longer rebates but I’ll figure out something to do with it
