In my case I am going to get 2 8-packs of D batteries for $16.49 each, so that will come to a total of $32.98, and after using the coupon my OOP will go down to $23.09 and save me 77 cents in sales tax. Of course, you only get back in 100% rewards what you paid out.Using the coupon is just giving you back less rewards to spend later and lowering your sales tax by some cents.

I noticed the that, too. To be on the safe side I only ordered two. Probably if someone called or chatted with the Office Depot Rewards Department we could get a definitive answer. Probably fine print will always win out.

I just called into Office Depot Rewards and explained how the limit was showing online as 4, but 2 in the fine print. She said it was a “system glitch” and, indeed, the limit is 2 only. I asked her since it says “4” online if they would honor it. She just reiterated that it was a system glitch and the actual limit is only 2 and only 2 would be honored.

Good catch. I called earlier in the week and was told it was a glitch, but like you said now they changed the limit in the fine print too, so I guess they are changing it to 4 this week because they screwed up.
