I ended up using Chrome and installed the Rakuten csah back button. The transaction showed up as pending right away:

Not only did I get 15% cash back it they cash back button automatically found an applicable coupon it applied that saved me 20% off my entire purchase, so now the price of the batteries is more reasonable a($15.51 a 16 pack) and lowers my tax OOP.

I should have read the terms before I placed my battery order. I just assumed the limit was 4, but it is really only 2. So when my online order arrives, I will have to visit s store and return 2 of them.

Luckily Office Depot will take back 2 packs of batteries in store. The policy for no returns expired on May 3. I purchased the batteries on May 6, so at least I will not lose any money from it. The battery offers seem to jump between limit 2 and limit 4, but I learned a big lesson to not assume and read the terms of the offer before placing the order in the future. By the way, batteries are considered technology, so there is only a 14 day return window.
