Pulling the trigger tomorrow on $500 Visa to complete a CC spend requirement.
We also have a $21 off $40 coupon (food and OTC purchases only) received via snail mail two weeks ago. Who can resist half price fresh sushi for Saturday dining at home?

Damn that’s why. I did this twice, on my account and the wifes. Tried to created a third account and the offers weren’t there.

As far as half price sushi, we frequently hit up the korean market for half price sushi at the end of the day.

@dangeruss Some cards like Amex Preferred which gives 6% back on grocery purchases so buying $500 is better than just $200. Also, if you’re trying to meet a CC spending requirement you get as much as you can for free.
I think Discover has 5% back on groceries this quarter and gc would count.
