Nope, not since they started the point system. If there is no offer in your account, you would not get anything.

@c3 I never check for offers… There was discussion about whether the 1000 points was going away so I thought I’d test it. I’m clearing out crap so just happy to get rid of NIB Belkin laptop cooler #5.

The current offer (which expires 5/19) started on 5/5. You will not get additional points if you already recycled during this period, even if the offer is still shown in your account.

Heads up, I think if you do the transactions back to back, you will get the $1k twice. Also my recycled count has not been updating and the recycling offer has not been disappearing from my account (at least until yesterday).

You recycled 2 items on the same account back to back? Great find but what made you try it?
So that’s why MrV still had the offer when he’d already recycled.

I guess I could recycle one battery and then suddenly remember I had another battery in my pocket snd recycle that one in a separate transaction. The cashier may get suspicious though.

Many (if not all) people who recycled during the last period still had the offer “activated” in the account. I recycled the second time but did not get any points.

It’s probably like RA where the same $10/$40 q works a 2nd time on back to transactions; presumably because we’re faster than the software.

I noticed none of the offers disappear once redeemed. Yesterday I used a 30% back in points for the purchase of shipping materials. I got the points yesterday, but today I still see the offer in my account. So you have to remember on your own which offers you have or have not already done.

I think all there offers are limit 1. I have never see any offer with any other limit.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I should drop off a dead alkaline battery or two today when I pass by Staples! I recycled last week but it sounds like it’s definitely worth trying again since the offer is still showing in my app.

Oh right, I forgot that. But it’s still unusual that they are allowing multiple recycling in one month. Not that I’m complaining.

@mrvietnam No. I usually recycle 3 things one at a time to 3 different accounts. This time I just recycled 2 and used the same phone number. At this visit I learned that I’m the only one who recycles things that aren’t devices. 😁.
When RA converted to Wags they had funny electronics 75% off that gave MM amounts of BC. I have a tote of funk: lens kits for cell phones (?), smart outlets, 20+ prs of ear buds that were free on BF, etc. I have another tote of electronics that were MM after SYWR.

Didn’t work for me today. I did a battery first then a cable right after. I see both transactions in my history but only got 1000 pts for the battery. The offer is no longer in my account.
