I think the grill is gone

Pay out over 6 months from a store that is circling the drain…not a good bet.
-
This is crazy! It’s like Sears is acting a bookie taking bets on their own demise!
I guess their points-back promotion linked to the dynamic and burgeoning magazine subscription business didn’t quite do the trick…
-
The points are being paid out monthly so you don’t get them all back at once. That’s a deal breaker. Don’t know that they’ll still be around at the end of the payout.
Limit of 300 units so they must have sold out.

They’re up to it again! Today and tomorrow only for 100% SYWR points back on a gas mower, gas pressure washer, and gas weed trimmer. HOWEVER, even squirrelier point payout terms: 12 monthly reimbursements!
Same deal also on a gas grill and patio set. Sears self-liquidation process is a trip!

The mower is giving me a little extra back in points. It sells for $299, but they are offering me $326 back in points, so that extra will even cover the sales tax for me. The gas grill also looks nice. Tempting, but will they stay in business for a whole one more year?

Well a year ago, if you would have told me that Sears and Kmart would outlast Toys R Us, I’d laugh.
So who knows how long they’ll continue to survive?
-
They’re at it again, yet more stuff with 100% SYWR points back (cough paid out in 12 monthly installments). Feeling lucky today?
Step right up folks, take your best shot!

How many here remember Cyberrebate?

I do! It got pretty outrageous at the end of their lifespan. Seems like I lost a bit of money on it when they didn’t pay their rebates.

So on these 100%-back-in-points offers, Sears starts out with 6 monthly payout installments (30 days expiration each)
Subsequent offers, 12 monthly payout installments
Next offer, 18 monthly payout installments…?At this point, I’d hesitate on a 100%-back-in-points offer with 3 monthly payout installments!

try your luck
