The retail apocalypse is about to claim another one. Use 'dem gift cards, all you fast fashion phatwalleters!
Oh, and I didn’t want to redeem my SB for a gift card yet. I’m saving up for one big gift card which I’ve been getting close to.
Thanks for the heads up on the coupons.com. I saved a pdf of my first coupon.

Tough Swago this month. Probably going to skip it or just do first column. Though I’m leery of the coupons.com printing, so might just skip it.
Tough Swago and no bonus spin wheel
If you’re going to do the first column for 45 SB, you may as well do the perimeter for 135 SB. I signed up for Swago on Friday but haven’t started working on it yet. I just checked my board and I only need 5 tiles to complete the perimeter: create a shopping list (1-click & free), redeem SB for a GC (was going toa do anyway), join 2 giveaways (loss of 5 SB each), and print grocery coupons (free). So I’d earn 125 with very little effort above doing all the stuff I normally do anyway.
I’m surprised that you’re leery of coupons.com. Why? They’re 100% legit and you get 25 SB for every one you use at the grocery store + 1 SB for every one you print (up to 50 SB a day). However, you don’t even have to print them out using ink and paper… just print to pdf (you can later print out my use any you choose). Otherwise, I’d do the 5th column for 65 SB (the highest you earn without buying a $50 GC).
I was thinking of the old times when coupons.com made you install Java. I forgot they moved to a pdf solution.

This also includes the 4k disc versions (not 4k digital codes) of the Caesar trilogy (the 3 recent ones). You’ll get one code that redeems all 9 movies for digital HD.
Some of the amazon reviews mention getting the set in a different language for subtitles, and the digital codes being valid only for Canada. So I’d beware of that.
Fortunately, this is available at Best Buy for the same price (amazon is matching them) which would nearly guarantee you an English version with working US-based digital codes. And you can test the discs (I doubt you could return after redeeming the digital HD codes though).
UYEJ576A
generic code for $1.50 off, today only.
I may have to beg for a MLB ticket thing but only if they use stubhub (have a gift card to use up). Hopefully they’re not from one of those random ticket brokers like they do for concerts sometimes.
Use $.01 filler to add another $20 off $75 to bring this down to $109.99 + filler.
(I’m not sure why staples requires the filler because it is $129.99, but when you add the coupon that’s what it says)

If you’re doing the Sunday subscription, try calling and telling them you don’t want the premium issues. They shouldn’t charge those against your account.
Did anyone else have their SB Live trivia free rejoins disappear? I had like 20 or 22, but now I have 3. I didn’t use 4 of them in-game because I was saving them for a better opportunity.

Should be multi-use. Code available to everyone, $1.50 off dvd/blu/game, expires tonight.

I loved their $10 off $10 coupon giveaway deals, and their clothes are usually high-quality (at least for the price).
They better have one last Black Friday coupon giveaway! I never got more than $10 off $10.

Not going to do that deal, but a decent money maker.
Where do you see the offer? Maybe it’s dead?

Check if you got a $5 when you spend $25 at U.S. office supply stores too.
Will stack (you can see the office supply store addresses for Staples in the amex offer, but a lot of the other addresses besides Office Depot/Staples aren’t real office supply stores)
According to arstechnica, customers have to pay $4 a month to send all suspected robocalls to voicemail, or else they get a free version which only lets you manually put them on a block list.

I must have clicked that Postmates offer and sent it to my email some time ago, I don’t remember when. I wasn’t able to redeem it.
At what stage were you notified that you were ineligible (before you placed and paid for your order I hope)?
ETA: since you never redeemed the offer, customer service may be able to do something to reset your status. There’s no SB credit on your account/ledger related to Postmates so they can’t claim that you redeemed it. If they say you activated the offer too recently (but prior to your attempt in the past week) so it won’t show up on your account for a while, you may be able to find the original activation email in your trash or spam folder (if so, ask if you can still use it).
The tap to download link in the email goes to a offer unavailable page: Offer Unavailable
You may not be eligible for this offer, may have already completed it, or the offer has expired.
Good tip on customer service resetting the status, I didn’t think of that. It wasn’t in my email trash.

There’s a pretty high-dollar swagbucks offer for a first-time app download/sign-up and order through Postmates. They have a few delivery options, quite a bit more options for pickup.
2,856 sb for the first order. Plus there’s a code for $5 off with 5OFF. Not sure when this offer expires.
Today’s SB Live quiz was crazy. Only 7 people won. They won about $142.

Points cannot be used toward Marketplace, grocery and drug items.
I haven’t set foot in KMart since towards the end of 2018.
can’t believe you can’t spend your points on grocery items any more. that was one of the few decent ways to cash out.
Points still work on grocery items if you go to the store and opt to redeem the points in store. It’s just the order and reserve online through SYW for store pick-up that doesn’t work (at least since the past few days).

dangit.
I burned a rejoin on question 5 today. Made it all the way to the final question, but missed it. Could have won 213 sb, but only won 7 sb.
@alanmax said in Swagbucks Tips, Offers & Discussion Thread:
@ctujackbauer
I have a bunch of rejoins too.
What is a rejoin???
TY!!!
If you miss a question in the swagbucks live trivia game (requires smartphone app), you get to rejoin without having to spend swagbucks to win the prize at the end. There are 10 trivia questions. You split the prize of $500/$1,000 in sb among all the winners.
The games on Monday are easier because they get progressively harder throughout the week. So spend the rejoins on the harder Wednesday/Thursday games. If you advance into like the 7th or 8th question without missing, then it costs a lot of sb to rejoin, so those rejoins are valuable.
I won a Monday game and got like 39 sb, there were a lot of winners that day. There were about 10 winners in one of the Thursday games splitting $1,000, so that day a winner won around $100 (1,000 sb). It’s just very difficult to win that much.
I now have 16 free rejoins for sb live. Mostly from the june spin to win wheel, I think I have 3 from free rejoin week. Plus a bunch of swagstakes entries for the laptop and 100,000 sb drawing.
Don’t forget to claim the reward after it hits 50,000 and unlocks (usually a day or two). Click the bell icon in the upper-right corner within 5 days of the unlock.
new flock-to-unlock $2 target e-gift card for 4 product codes.
https://us.coca-cola.com/offers/
Pretty sure not everyone checks the official coca-cola thread in free stuff, so I think it counts as a hot deal, especially since previous threads were hot deals.
There’s a Visit Myrtle Beach South Carolina ad in the upper-left corner (right below the swagbucks icon) in the rolling ads that counts as a daily discover towards your to-do-list, without having to buy anything (I just loaded the first myrtle beach page after clicking the add).
Should be the second ad in the upper-left, may have to click the arrows or buttons to bring it up. I couldn’t get it to load from the view all offers in discover, so it might only be accessible through that little box/ad.
Are y’all sure that adding an espresso shot won’t be a 25 star per shot charge? On the rewards website it specifically has that.

No bonus rounds in any of the apps today… maybe they’ll announce one later today, but I can’t remember the last time they did that
Swago starts today, but remember that there’s no wheel/bonus points, so only do the squares you need to submit your board. The most you can earn without spending $ on SB Local or MyGC+ is 70 SB for either the bottom row or the far right column.
AdGate Media has double SB on all offers. Now’s the best time to do 1-2 SB coupon prints, 2 SB timed online arcade games, and surveys. I feel like the value of the quizzes were all reduced so you basically get the same amount when the points are ‘doubled’… so I’m not doing then on principle.
Yesterday I noted that TLTG ran 1-Click offers at 2am EST two nights in a row, well last night they did it at 12am EST for 30 minutes, so it’s not a predictable time or length, but at least the late night block ‘appears’ to be back consistently.
I did the second row swago for 35 SB, I think. Didn’t feel like purchasing from mygcplus or setting up the local.

I installed it a couple of weeks ago, uninstalled, then reinstalled it for this promotion (even though mobile points are available every day). I’m pretty sure I never got the 500 bonus points.

@fatwking I occasionally use DuckDuckGo, and would probably do so more if I was in a witness protection program or had a high security profile somewhere. I just use Bing for the rewards (it’s my home page, but I only use it a few minutes each morning).
At this point Microsoft should be aware that I like quickly flashing up news briefs, movie cast members, and dig Amazon gift cards. Beyond that, not so much–well, at least from Bing.
I too value privacy, and don’t participate in social media stuff like Facebook, Twitter, and so on. Never have! Oh well. And I’m more humored than bothered by “targeted” ads that pop for me thanks to prior Google searches.
We, the people, have the power to take back our privacy that these big techs have decimated and blatantly violated. If enough people started using alternatives that work just as well and actually defend our privacy, these tech behemoths (Goog, Amz, Fbook, Msft, etc.) will lose power and will bend to the will of the people. We need to take that power away from them.
(mod note: this is an off-topic post, but I’m replying to off-topic replies. Thanks UkeDog for the heads up on 300 points a day, it supercharged my amazon redemption for 2 weeks)
Big tech monopolies are similar to landline telephones; it works better if the person on the other end has one, otherwise it doesn’t really work at all.
Facebook especially so because while there will always be a market for niche social media networks, if your friends, family, and long last pals from high school are sharing posts then you’re going to need to facebook to see it - otherwise you end up with a completely public social media site like twitter.
Amazon has its advantages in cloud software and web hosting because of its unparalleled size, and even IT workers get certs in AWS just so they can have transferable skills for their next employer (or to keep their current one).
Microsoft is pretty much regarded as a monopoly. There’s always room for linux and mac.
Google is the closest thing to a consumer-created monopoly. There’s no real reason to use it over other search engines, other than the fact that it just works better than everything else out there. Google Maps and the Google Chrome browser especially so; Microsoft even bases Microsoft Edge on Chromium, the Google Chrome’s software underpinnings.
The enemy strikes again.
And by enemy, I mean private equity leverage buyout firms.
