I placed my first order and now I’m going to place my 2nd order but I haven’t seen anything about a $15 coupon. Anyone heard or seen anything? Do I have to just trust that I’ll receive the coupons? I have trust issues…
I thought you had to activate on the page. Either way not working for me, contacted Amazon got $15 Promotional credit

@dangeruss It sounds like you have to place 3 orders to receive $30 total or am I misunderstanding? Place first order receive $15 credit to use on next order. Place 2nd order receive another $15 credit which I presume has to be used on 3rd order.
Nope. Activate - get $15 off $25 on first order, then 24 hrs later get $15 off second $25 order
Edit: Rereading it maybe you’re right, but I got the $15 off on the first order after activating, so

@dangeruss I clicked on link to receive email. I got the email. I ordered via App. Now I have to figure out how to contact Amazon. I want the $15 credit to apply to my 2nd order. Expires today.
Just do chat, they’re prompt and usually are pretty good about resolving issues. They gave me zero trouble today - actually just offered the $15 credit right away once I sent them the promo page.

@dangeruss How did the $15 off appear? I looked for a coupon to be applied but there wasn’t one.
If you go on a mobile browser, you get this
I clicked the get coupon button and the coupon came off automatically on my $25 order.

RE: Gorilla Crystal Clear Duct Tape, 1.88” x 9 yd, Clear, (Pack of 1) $3.19 + FS w/Prime @ Amazon - exp soon
Got mine today from Walmart, came via doordash, with the person being confused, leaving the bag (was a walmart plastic bag with a barcode on it), then coming back taking back the bag, then coming again with the bag and ringing the door this time, leaving a message on my ring “I left your medicine by the door”.
Then got a call from doordash confirming the delivery.
Seems like overkill for a $3 item.

I can’t believe it. They gave me a $36.63 refund. They said that they would refund $15 x 2 but they refunded the entire price of my 2nd order including tax, $36.63. Glad I “splurged” on the $34 case of cat food. Ended up paying $26.71 (incl.tax) for $63.34 (incl. tax) cat food. 🐈
Probably easier for them then issuing a $30 promotional credit

My state is excluded, but I’m still disappointed in the settlement amount given how many people were cheated for over 10 years. I hope they do a better job with the settlement amount for the remaining companies that haven’t settled yet.
Why are states excluded? Does that mean they couldn’t find any plaintiffs in those states?

Well the store I ordered from has a lower tax rate. I actually had 2 orders a few days apart, only the second order got partially refunded, the first order was fully refunded the day I was going to go get it.

Do you guys have just the one account? I pissed off a manager back in a day when I was asking for a plastic bag for my free bagel everyday. I guess he didn’t want to waste the bags so he reported me to corporate when I somehow got the free bagel for the 2nd month in a row.

I had two accounts and kept switching them for the free 3 month offers a couple of times. But now, for the third time, when I cancel the day before that ends, I’m getting a pop up offer and another three months free. Currently good till January.
I was just letting them bill my empty cc and it seemed to work once they cancelled it, but no longer. I actually really missed it. They stopped making the coffee for you maybe 6 months ago, so when I went in during the summer I would mostly just get large cup, ice, soda water and a splash of lemonade.

I think its a pretty good deal for $5.95, even if they are 4 12 oz. bags instead of 16 oz.
I just ordered 4 bags with the $5.95 shipping, we’ll see how good they are.
Used a private CC number just in case to avoid any surprise charges.

@ctgolfer I got a year of the “with-Ads” version through T-Mobile. Watching can be brutal, just like with Hulu.
However, it does allow me to stream the previous night’s “The Late Show” whenever, with about the same ad time.
Now if the old episodes of Chappelle’s Show and Key and Peele would stream properly without freezing or closing, I’d be happy. For some reason the ads don’t bother me as much as the Hulu ones do. Or maybe I’ve just become numb to them.

This may not be the answer to what you were asking, but you can buy these as a gift for a minor and I believe it would count against their limit.

@waldo1945 said in Kohl's Cash Gotcha:
@mistercheap
There is nothing absurd about returning items that do not fit as the fitting rooms are closed due to COVID.
But still, there is nothing absurd about returning two purchases. What is the scam, I bought a $150 of items for $140 and returned both items. Instead of getting $140 back, Kohl’s gave me $130 back plus a $10 store credit that expired in 30 days.
They converted part of my purchase price refund into a store credit with an expiration date. If you cannot see the scam, sorry I can not help you.The rules surrounding the use of Kohls cash are well known, you obviously thought you weren’t subject to learning the rules of earning/using them and now you want to shove this ‘scam’ concept down everyone’s throat who is telling you it’s your own fault and not Kohls. Now you know, so there’s no reason why this should happen to you again. Just chalk it up to experience, not to being the victim of a scam.
They may be well known to regular shoppers, but this surprises me. If you spend $140 on a CC, you should get $140 back, not $130 and a $10 coupon. Personally, I would handle this with a CC chargeback. The customer never agreed to use the $10 in cash to purchase a $10 coupon that has a short expiration date.

Ct is the hot spot for open locations. There’s 3 near enough for me here in CT. Still about 13 locations .
I have a few over here. What are you guys thinking of getting? Chicken or one of the other things? I was thinking apple pie, but we weren’t impressed by any of their deserts last time.
Chicken from one, pie from another. I’m not a fan of their sides. Vanilla ice cream improves pie.
There’s a place over here that I was able to get a slice of pie from TooGoodToGo. The place no longer participates on TooGoodToGo, but I might check out how much their full price pie was. It was really good - just a hint of sugar and nice sour apples. I don’t think I’ve had apple pie this good anywhere. We even bought the $20 or so pie from Stew Leonards - some pie that was selling for like $60 on GoldBelly or the manufacturer’s website, and it was just OK. Not sour at all and found tons of lard under the aluminum basket.
I heard the costco apple pie is pretty good. Will have to check out out.

Just a note that these run about $4.50 + tax in my area. Seems a little pricey for what they are.
Last day for the offer. Yeah, I got this today. They’re bites, all right. $4.49 plus tax for a couple mouthfuls. Fairly tasty, but no way I’m getting these again. I can easily make the equivalent at home for a lot less.
Thanks for the info on these.
Doesn’t that go for most of the things Dunkin sells?

Several years ago there was talk about Tide being like currency so I increased my stockpile. I resell to co-workers and neighbors and my prices haven’t changed even though my cost has gone up. I think of it as liquidating Bonus Cash so as long as I make back my oop that’s ok. I’ve been paying ~$2/bottle (32 load, not 25 load) and resell for $4.
.How do you get them for $2?

89 loads. Does anyone get as many loads as they print on the bottle? For me it’s about half🤪 ; I just pour, don’t measure… That’s why I prefer the pods so I don’t over use
You should really cut down on the amount you use. I use VERY VERY little after the old washer died due to spider arm failure. We didn’t know to do the cleaning cycle, but using less detergent keeps the gunk from building up in the back. Unless you’ve got stuff that’s really nasty (like from playing in the dirt, or cleaning up nasty stuff), you don’t really need a ton of detergent. We normally don’t even use tide, but use woolite for most of our everyday clothes with the gentle cycle.
