Hi @DreamWorld and welcome to our site. As this link does not violate any laws or our community guidelines, I see no reason to remove it. While we sympathise with what you’re saying, going around the web asking people not to fill out your form is not a good use of anyone’s time.

I would suggest starting with putting a note on the form saying that it’s only for the local area (and spell out what that area is). Removing the country drop down and adding a drop down for states that they service would also help out a lot. Seeing as you are the web admin for the site, you could’ve done this in the time that it took you to write your post.

I suggest that you focus on improving your site builder to allow businesses to service local areas. If you have a list of areas that the merchants are servicing, we would be happy to add it to our OP.

Phew! Glad I hadn’t done this yet , sorry for the hassle @THEKING and others who wasted their time on this, a deal that in the past would have worked. Staples has really gone down hill where deals in general are concerned, even some of their sale prices are laughable. Hardly have good breakroom deals any longer too. Office Depot is by far the better store these days for deals and rewards.

If only any of them were still open…

I miss the days of whatever that app was on android that gave you discount codes… Became android pay I believe. They used to have a $15 off $30 multiuse TRU coupon. We really cleaned up over those couple of weeks.

@bbsearchlight It may not have gone away completely, but with the new limit of one coupon per transaction enforced by the registers, it really killed the ability to use paper to convert rewards to cash.

Also the reason they were saying was that staples and OM/OD were supposed to merge, but that deal didn’t happen for whatever reason (I think anti-trust laws?)

Agreed. @dangeRuss, this change is the exact opposite of what is being asking for in this thread/support request.

Thank you for reporting this. I actually didn’t change anything regarding the notifications. I did, however, upgrade to a newer version of the forum software, and looks like this was one of the changes.

I will reach out to the devs about this.

Autolink is a tool that we have that converts regular links to affiliate links. Copy and paste is just putting the link into the post like

using the link tool is what you are describing.

Please use the add-a link-function (Linking chain symbol), instead of c&p long links in a post. They almost always break. It only takes a few seconds to use the add-a-link function. You can give it a name, or simply say something like “click here” or “link”.

Please note that @dangeRuss does not want links posted using the linking tool, but wants them copied and pasted to allow the auto-insertion of pictures and product/website blurbs to work. If copying and pasting is causing links to break, he definitely needs to look into that since he doesn’t want us to use the link tool for links to deals.

Not that I don’t want people using it, more of you should try it without using the link tool first and see if it gives a better experience. If the link by itself doesn’t provide a better experience (LInks with _ in them break for example), then by all means use the link tool. Or for any other reason. I just want people to be aware of the iframely plugin and that it will provide a better experience most of the time.

I have a pair of these myself, and they’ve held up pretty well, although they are starting to get scratched. We stopped using them and got another set.

I do receive emails, but I got nothing. I’m still steaming from when I tried to use the PALS + $10 coupon together. Ended up just going to PetSmart and using the $10 off coupon there and paying more out of pocket, but it’s the principle. Plus PetSmart has better fish so was able to pick up a few.

@dangeruss the reason I print to paper is because I use Rewards earned on one acct on my other acct. Technically not allowed and I risk losing the accts and the Rewards.

So I would have to use another perks acct with the Bed offer and the printed coupon from this account in order to be able to combine them. Or I would have to call CSR to get it unloaded, which I’m not in a huge hurry to do. I’ve had my fill of talking to CSRs for the day.

I’d rather get this and a small filler and use $10 PALS reward… although I don’t think I can… I already loaded all my PALS rewards (big mistake apparently) and they will all try to apply. I have $25 in PALS rewards.
