Eligibility: Except where prohibited by law, the HERSHEY’S GOLD Coupon Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors (including immediate family members and members of the same household) of The Hershey Company (“Sponsor”) and any other entities directly associated with the design or execution of this Giveaway are not eligible to participate. Other eligibility requirements and conditions of participation are set forth below in these official rules for the Giveaway (“Official Rules”). Participation in this Giveaway constitutes an entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these Official Rules. All federal, state, municipal, and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited.
Giveaway Period: The Giveaway begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) on February 9, 2018 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”) on March 18, 2018 or when all of the Coupons (defined below) are awarded in accordance with these Official Rules (“Giveaway Period”). During the Giveaway Period, each time the United States wins a gold medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics or at the 2018 Winter Paralympics (up to a total of 15 gold medals), Sponsor will make a simultaneous post to its Twitter account and Facebook account (each a “Post” and collectively, the “Posts”) announcing the start of a gold medal giveaway period. At least the first 10,000 eligible participants who click on the Giveaway entry link contained within the Post will be entitled to receive the Giveaway prize, a coupon valued at up to $1.50 off the purchase of a HERSHEY’S GOLD Bar (“Coupon”). Sponsor will award a minimum of 10,000 Coupons per Post but reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to award more than 10,000 Coupons per Post. Sponsor’s decision to award more than 10,000 Coupons per Post will not be announced.
How to Enter: In order to receive a Post, a participant must first: (a) log into the participant’s Facebook account (or create a free account if the participant does not already have one), visit Hershey’s Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/hersheys/, and then “LIKE” the Hershey Facebook page; and/or (b) log into the participant’s Twitter account (or create a free account if the participant does not already have one), visit Hershey’s Twitter page at https://twitter.com/HersheyCompany, and then “FOLLOW” the Hershey Twitter page. After completing the preliminary steps to receive the Posts, during the Giveaway Period, participants may enter the Giveaway by clicking the Giveaway entry link contained within the Post to access the Giveaway website (“Website”) to enter (“Entry”). At least the first 10,000 eligible participants accessing the Website (“Entrant”) following a Post during the Giveaway Period will be entitled to receive a Coupon, in accordance with the terms and conditions of these Official Rules. The Coupons will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis, while supplies last, quantities limited up to the total number of Coupons awarded by Sponsor per Post.
Entry Conditions: All Entries must be submitted following a Post during the Giveaway Period to be eligible for the Giveaway. Entries must originate through the Website. Limit one Entry per person. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online Entrant, the Entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the Twitter or Facebook account associated with the Entry. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect transcription of Entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failure, or any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any website or online service, or any other error or malfunction.
Free Coupon: At least the first 10,000 Entrants who complete the Entry process and access the Website after a Post during the Giveaway Period will be entitled to receive One Coupon. Sponsor will award a minimum of 10,000 Coupons per Post but reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to award more than 10,000 Coupons per Post. The total number of Coupons awarded by Sponsor per Post will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis, while supplies last. A total of at least 10,000 HERSHEY’S GOLD Bar Coupons per Post will be awarded in this Giveaway and once the Coupons offered for a Post are awarded, the Coupon giveaway associated with that Post will terminate. The Coupons may be downloaded upon entry and acceptance of the Entry on the Website.
Coupon Conditions: LIMIT OF ONE COUPON PER PERSON DURING THE GIVEAWAY PERIOD. Each Coupon is non-transferrable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable, has no cash value, and must be accepted by an Entrant as awarded. Each Coupon should not be reproduced or copied and is subject to its terms. An Entrant may waive his/her right to receive a Coupon. Each Coupon is for up to $1.50 off the purchase of a HERSHEY’S GOLD bar, redeemable at retailers selling Hershey’s products and accepting manufacturer coupons. Each Coupon issued from February 9, 2018 to February 25, 2018 will expire on March 25, 2018, and each Coupon issued from March 8, 2018 to March 18, 2018 will expire on April 15, 2018. Sponsor is not responsible for any loss or damage to the free Coupon or the failure of an Entrant to use the Coupon prior to expiration.
