Another cash out option would be to go to a MoneyPass ATM.
ATM withdrawal fee is $1.95:
There is an additional surcharge if you do not use a MoneyPass ATM. You can use the ATM locator found here to find one. Make sure the ATM has the moneypass logo.
If possible, I recommend buying the card with $201.95, not $200 like i did. This will allow you to withdraw an even $200 and zero the account. I’m going to be stuck with some change on the card.
They may only allow purchasing cards with whole dollar amounts though.
Thanks, the ATM withdrawal might be a simpler way to go. Chase Freedom 5% for Q1 2019 includes drugstores, so that should serve to defer the fee and increase the MM of the deal.
