$525 on $25k is 2.1% If you hold from account opening until bonus payment (120 days) it’s only about 6%. APY

If you wait almost until the 30-day requirement to fund and you close promptly you can get the holding period down to maybe 70 days which makes it close to 11% APY

I just went for the savings ($500) and brokerage ($100) bonuses

ALLY Online Savings Account rate is increasing from 3.40% to 3.60%
( goes into effect on 3/10/2023 )

CFG Bank has put their rate back to 4.55% after a brief drop to 4.45%

I’ve done that. How is that abuse?

I would prefer not to do it.
If I did it a few times it would be acceptable (use),
but rather not move in/out too frequently (abuse)

Usually not a problem, but I’m trying to move money from Salem Five (5k/20k limits) to Republic Bank Chicago (2.5k/10k limits) so push or pull is no good.
One alternative is the pull money from Salem Five using Bask (no limits), then push into Republic. Hate to use/abuse Bask doing that.,

I called them and was able to activate external transfers, add and verify external accounts, but have not made a transfer yet.
Tried to make a $10,000 transfer but "Unable to process request. The transfer amount exceeds
the maximum allowed for external transfers. Please reduce the amount to complete the transfer."
I don’t know the limit, but it’s less than I require.

UPDATE: The monthly maximum is 10 total external transfers, not to exceed the aggregate monthly total of $10,000.00. The individual transfer limit is $2,500.00 per transaction.

Just wanted to inform it wasn’t instantaneous.
It shows as 4.21% today

I was able to use Astra to make a “direct deposit” so I received a decent rate
(as opposed to 1.20% without direct deposit)

I posted the exact reply they gave to my email. I don’t know any more. I suggest you call them for clarification

@platypus Situation is even worse. You can only deposit ACH externally not withdraw. I emailed them and they said:
