RE: Saturday Sampler Just 4U Coke/Coke Zero Y3000 20oz, clip by Sun, redeem by Mon 10/16
My SS is Fanta WTFanta Zero Sugar, 20 oz. It’s a “mystery flavor”.
I’ll see if I can find it tomorrow. If not, no big deal. I tried the Coke Zero Sugar Y3000. It has a strange taste, kind of floral? -

@c3 Chaos at WAGS next week. https://www.cnn.com/2023/10/06/business/walgreens-pharmacists-walkouts-protest-working-conditions/index.html
My Walgreens is horribly understaffed. Last year I waited 1 1/2 hours for my flu shot even though I had an appt. People with appts before me waited over 2 hours. There was only one pharmacist who was filling prescriptions, handling calls, and giving vaccinations. My wait would have been longer but a pharmacy technician finally appeared just to give vaccinations.
This $20 Wag cash offer was tempting, but after last year I decided to try CVS this year.
I guess other Walgreens are horribly understaffed and overworked too.
My appointment was at 4:00. I arrived 15 minutes early and was out of there in 10 minutes. The shots were given by a pharmacy tech.
Glad you had a positive experience at Walgreens. I got my flu & Covid vacs at CVS today. Got there at my appt time and the Pharmacist saw me right away. (There were two pharmacist on duty.) Very pleased with CVS.

RE: Fresh Pass $5 perk, not showing yet for October - Anyone?
@mistercheap Yes, I did eventually receive the $5 perk for Oct.
Side note: Safeway seems to be having problems with their app/system. Last month I brought a new prescription to the Safeway pharmacy. The receipt has a QR code to get a $25 GC for a new RX. So I scan the QR code and enter the basic info (name, DOB) and it says “Unable to Verify Account”. I’ve called CS twice and corresponded with the Website CS at least three times. Supposedly it got escalated to the IT dept, but it’s been two weeks and it still isn’t working. I just want my $25 GC.
A benefit of using the Safeway pharmacy is you earn reward points on prescriptions.
-
RE: Fresh Pass $5 perk, not showing yet for October - Anyone?
@mistercheap I haven’t gotten mine either. Most new offers appear on my Safeway acct on Wednesday, so hopefully tomorrow.

WalmartPetRx.com - $30 off $100 - YMMV - exp (unknown, possibly 8/31/23)
Received a ‘we miss you email’ from Walmartpetrx with a $30 off $100 code. The code isn’t unique, but I don’t know if it will work on all accounts: WMWB30
Walmartpetrx.com not only sells prescription drugs, but also non-rx supplements, and some treats, e.g. pill pockets, beef liver treats., etc…
note: Allivet Pet Pharmacy will be taking over the WalmartPetRx pharmacy eff 9/1/23. It sounds like the WalmartPetRx site will shut down then.

Confirmed it works at Safeway. Perfect timing cause I need to buy dog food at Petsmart. BTW the expiration date of my coupon is 8/29/23 – more than 7 days past issuance.

Perhaps most of the prizes have been awarded. I’m just playing to finish the lands to get the last coupon so I’m not too disappointed.

I finally won a mini game! I won a $50/$50 coupon. Before this win, the most I won was $10/$10.
I’m a regular Safeway shopper but rarely spend $50 during a visit, so I guess I’ll treat myself to some goodies. -

From my experience (including the birthday bonus), bonus-type reward offers don’t apply to GCs. So you will only earn 2x on the $100 GC purchase.

kimi, was there a Google Captcha box at the bottom? Usually you want to do the Captcha last, after viewing the video.
If you don’t see a Google Captcha box, then it might be something wrong with the app. I ran into one error after viewing a video - don’t refresh the page (I found out) and then force close the app and restart it to view the video again.
I got past Google Captcha box, then got the app error. I’ll see if it works for me today.

RE: 7-11 Convenience Stores via APP: ANY Size Iced Coffee $1.29 now to September 5, 2023 limit 1 per transaction
At Store, take a Big Gulp Cold Cup, fill with ice/take straw, then fill w/your choice of hot coffee selections and add creamer/sweetner as desired.
Isn’t this just watered-down coffee?
My 7-11 used to have ‘cold brew’ coffee, but they have been out. When I questioned the cashier, he told me to just pour hot coffee over ice. I told him it wasn’t the same. He just laughed. (Side note: 7-11 usually has good hot chocolate. I often mix hot chocolate with hot coffee.)

Amazon 17.7inch Black Plant Caddy with Water Container, 5 Wheels $2.64 (ships from China)
I’ve been looking for large outdoor plant caddies with wheels. Those over 14" can get costly. Ordered 4 of these from Amazon yesterday. They shipped today. Even if they are crappy, I’m only out $11.60. (I noticed there is another seller that sells them for $2.50. Also, the white ones are $12.00)

I purchased the Yummers at Petco, submitted my receipt, and today I received Venmo for the entire amount I paid ($12.99). (I don’t know if this offer expires on 3/24 or expires within 7 days of activation.)
Thanks Mr. C. I’ve been giving my dog Instincts food toppers so this is a nice opportunity to try a different brand for free. (I bought the beef liver and the ingredient list only states ‘beef liver’. Probably can use these as treats.)

RE: Staples.com Online Savings Codes. See last posts for most current codes.
@jess888 I normally don’t have alot of Staples rewards, but I recently had $20 to burn. I went to Staples and found Kleenex for a reasonable sale price and Method Gel handsoap refill on clearance. (Method Gel handsoap works great in my SimpleHuman no-touch soap dispenser).
I often find household items in store that aren’t offered online and prices comparable to Target, etc…

RE: Chase Offers (Targeted) $5 statement credit on $10+ restaurant charge, activate, use by 2/28
I would like to share my Chase offers experience… In December I had a 20% off Walgreens offer on my Amazon Chase card. I already had a few Walgreens charges on my card (ranging from $2.50 to $25) before I added the offer. I added the offer and made a $30 purchase. Chase applied the offer to the $2.50 purchase so I only got a 50 cent credit.

RE: FREE Bottle of D’Vash Organics Date Syrup at Sprouts Farmers Market or Whole Foods after Rebate via Paypal or Venmo - purchase by 02/12

RE: DUNKIN' APP - February 2023 Offers: 1/2 Dozen Donuts $3, $2 Med Cold Brew, Free Med Hot and Med Iced w/purchase (activate) ex 2/28
Redeemed my ‘$3 for 1/2 dozen donuts’ this morning. I was shocked at the regular price – $9.99 for 1/2 dozen.!
No way would I pay regular price for DD donuts. At my store, the donuts are often dried out – as if they were day (or 2 day) old donuts. But for $.50 each I’ll take the risk and buy them. (offer ends on Sunday) -
RE: DUNKIN' APP - February 2023 Offers: 1/2 Dozen Donuts $3, $2 Med Cold Brew, Free Med Hot and Med Iced w/purchase (activate) ex 2/28
Just a heads up, my 1/2 dozen donuts offer expires 2/12 whereas all the others expire 2/28.

I haven’t tried it yet. I like crispy chicken skin so I thought I would buy it since it’s free. -

@mistercheap said in Paramount Plus $8.50 for the first year exp 1/2/23:
I signed up today for the $25 annual deal (it does require auto renew, so you need to be aware of that issue down the road, you can remove it I think)
Went through TCB and it already tracked but at $0.00 for now. that’s because the first 7 days is a trial and you can cancel w/o penalty, your CC isn’t charged until day #8, and that is when the TCB CB shows up in place of the $0.00.
A very nice deal to get this for about 67c a month after all offers. (had the Amex offer)
I would get this, but my Samsung Snart TV (from several years ago) does not have the Paramount Plus app.
I have a newer (2020) Samsung Smart TV. I had to search for Paramount Plus cause it wasn’t in the pre-loaded app list. I found it and was able to add it.

RE: Pure vanilla extract $11
Side note: It’s really easy to make vanilla extract. All you need is vodka and vanilla beans. Just put the vanilla beans in the vodka and leave them there.
I had an Uncle who would only drink screw drivers (vodka & OJ). So anyone who hosted a family gathering had to have vodka and OJ on hand. When this Uncle died in 2011, I still had a half a bottle of vodka left (no one else in the family drinks). So I purchased vanilla beans from TJ and made my own vanilla extract. I still have some left – it doesn’t spoil. And whenever I use it I think of my dear Uncle Glenn.

RE: Walgreens Free Ship To Home No Min 12/6-7 only
@juicer said in Walgreens Free Ship To Home No Min 12/6-7 only:
what is “senior” week?
On the 1st Tuesday of the Month, Walgreens gives “seniors” 20% off regular price merchandise. A “senior” is anyone 55 and up, or 50 and up with AARP membership. You have to ask for the discount – I’ve never seen a cashier automatically give the discount.
But for online shopping, the 20% discount is all week long. The promo code is “SENIOR20”. (You may need to have your AARP membership linked to your Walgreens account – I’m not sure if SENIOR20 would work without it.)

How do your local Target prices compare to your grocery store prices? Years ago, my Target grocery prices were lower than Safeway. But in recent years, my Target grocery prices are 10-30% higher than Safeway. (The $5/$15 would help bring the prices down to Safeway level.)

RE: Just4u Saturday Sampler Signature Select 16oz Dry Roasted Peanuts cip by 11/13
Does Safeway ever substitute Saturday Sampler items? Yesterday morning I went to my little Safeway and they had a shelf full of non-dry roasted peanuts, but no dry roasted peanuts. The cashier confirmed that the non-dry roaster peanuts were not free – only the dry roasted ones were free.
This morning I went back to this Safeway to buy a newspaper and the entire Safeway-brand peanut shelf was wiped out except for two bottles of dry roasted peanuts. (So I got my free peanuts after all.)
I wonder what happened to all those (not free) non-dry roasted peanuts? Did Safeway do a substitution? Or did people buy them, thinking they were free, but unknowingly got charged for them?
