I was going to submit but the rebate disappeared. Did a Chat and they said they will try to put it back up on the website. Last day to submit is 4/15. Not too optimistic.

I have autopay on my cellphone bill which knocks $5 off each month. I manually paid and have credit in the account many times and still got the $5 monthly discount.

Good rate for Ally. I just closed a NPCD and opened a new one earlier today. Treasury bills are still higher, plus no state tax.

True on state tax, but not necessarily ‘penalty free’ to get out of really if you get a 1-2 year Treasury. As rates climb, you take a loss trying to unload them on the secondary market.

This is ideal for funds you don’t want to tie up per se, that you can get your hands on easily. Not sure if you can ‘no penalty’ withdraw part of the money if needed (say open for $20K, pull $7,500 out in 4 months) but if not, you can open smaller amount CD’s, say 4 x $5,000 so you can cash one or two in early if you need the money.

no you cannot withdraw partially … you have to take the entire sum when you withdraw. You can open multiple accounts but make sure if transferring from your Ally Savings or MM then don’t exceed the max # of transactions.

Got 5 pts on Daily Spin yesterday. Have done it about 8 times but never gotten 250 points.

I now split my purchases up to get multiple receipts since I use self-checkout 99% of the time anyways.

$400+ really! I saw one at Costco yesterday for $80. Worth a try since you can return if you are not satisfied.

we can’t scan a bunch of receipts all at once and get 1 spin for each. It’s 1 spin per 24 hrs no matter how many new receipt which means we have to scan only 1 per day to maximize points… what a pain.

Get free pack of Actual Veggies after submitting receipt and Venmo rebate. Check product locator for stores that carry it. I found it in The Fresh Market. It’s in the refrigerated section near pre-made meals, not in the freezer. Retail $6.49. Got Venmo back next day after submission.

I did get a response to my email inquiry and they credited me 2 rebates… Yea! BUT… the website is soooo buggy that I couldn’t get the actual PayPal rebates. At least it’s a start. I’ll have to try again after the steam from my frustration cools off.

I’d say given the messed up rebate process, hold off on this for anyone who hasn’t bought the items. Chances are it won’t go thru anyway.

Firefox private window for me on an android. Their site is so messed up. Sometimes it works on chrome though, just try every browser you have. I did get the receipt to go through, but it got rejected the next day. I resubmitted it yesterday and am still waiting.

I think I was able to use a prepaid card fairly recently to buy another prepaid card at Jewel (Safeway/Alberston’s), but it now must be below the value of the card used for purchase. The cashier/mgr. may or may not balk, but I’m saying the POS system should accept it.

Thanks for this! The last time I did it, the POS system wouldn’t take it even thoughi did the same type of transaction before. Maybe something changed recently.

Read the negative reviews over there. I tried 3 of the GE bulbs (not this model) and gave up.

I was excited until I read the reviews. Seems like you would need a Google home device or some sort of hub.

I bought some regular bulb shaped ones w a rebate that ended up costing about $1.50 each. Confirm you can download a GE app and control the bulbs with your phone - on/off, light level, color. *** BUT, the GE app alone doesn’t have scheduling which kind of sucks. I don’t have Google Home or whatever those hubs are called. Looks like that would provide scheduling function. Overall I would not hesitate to buy … perhaps this is a good way to dim the lights without installing a dimmer wall light switch.
