Does this have to be from a grocery store or can it be from any store as long as you’re buying groceries? Like I just bought some cereal at CVS using a rain check can I use that receipt for this rebate?
Reminder Mr V., for Calif. you must buy ONE item of $5.01 or more, 3 boxes of cereal won’t work in CA if $1.89 ea.
But does it have to be from a grocery store or can it be from any store, like CVS or Rite Aid, as long as it’s a grocery item?

Thanks, MC. This is one of the few rebate offers that California participates in also. Not bad to spend $5.01 or more and get five dollars back. Too bad it is limit 1.
@c3 said in Ibotta: $2.50 back on any size/brand eggs (every Friday in February 2025):
“We’ll continue offering cash back on eggs every Friday in February, so check back each week.”
It does not mean $2.50 offer for every Friday.
I just went to Trader Joes’s, and they only had half dozens left, so I bought one for $3.49 and got $2.50 back.
A half dozen eggs at the Walmart in Southern California went for $4.29.
Great deal. Thanks for posting.
I sent this deal to expired because even though the rebate is still valid, the digital coupon from Kroger expired yesterday so they’re no longer free.

Instead of using the cashback, I may just pricematch with Amazon in store. That would make less OOP. Duracell AAA 16 count packages are going for $14.99 on Amazon.
I just realized that the Office Depot price is the same as the Amazon price, so I used a 25% off coupon and went through RNN, so I should be getting my rewards at 50.5% off.

Regular price is $2.79, at least in my area.
That’s a lot for a small burger. and $3ish with sales tax.
I hear you. Prices continue to be on the rise. I would never buy it at regular price.
Thanks for the deal. I was able to get a bag of their white cheddar variety for free after rebate. They make you jump through some hoops to get your money back via Amazon gift card. You have to enter your Amazon credentials and password and then they deposited it into my Amazon account, but now I have to go back and change my Amazon password, just in case it gets compromised as I have about $2000 banked in Amazon gift cards.
The actual product was OK, but it’s not something I would spend four dollars for a small bag for.

Tomorrow, Ms SOZ will pay with $5 Fresh Pass credit and submit for rebate. THX OP!
Hopefully you will get the before Fresh Pass credit price back and not the $0 paid price that will show on your receipt after paying with the Fresh Pass credit.
is this an online only deal? I’m at my local Sam’s Club and they have the four $25 Domino’s gift cards under an extreme value, but it’s priced at $75 not at $70. I wonder if they would price match their own website to get the deal for $70 instead of $75 as it’s marked in the store?
UPDATE: Sam’s Club does NOT price match their website, but even though the $100 ($25x4) Domino’s gift cards were marked on the shelf as selling for $75. I rang them up at the self check out and they rang up at $70. So you could get this deal online or in store. I just bought $300 worth for $210. Domino’s Pizza is kind of expensive compared to Costco or Sam’s Club but when you take 30% off the top, it’s pretty comparable I think.
Thanks, MC, for the heads up.
Regular price is $2.79, at least in my area.
Great that it ends on 2/1 to use the deal to take care of the $10 purchase requirement for ink recycling for February.
Now that Office Depot is no longer having bottled case water deals, I have to be a little bit more creative to spend my rewards there.
This app service is good as long as everything looks right before you place your order, but if anything looks wrong like you’re paying too much tax or something else don’t place your order. I did an offer such as this around New Year’s, and I knew the tax was awfully high and I thought it would be OK if I placed my order and then contacted customer service later, but so far I’ve contacted them about five times and they refused to refund a couple dollars they overcharged me in tax. Their customer service is horrible. I think the $20 off coupon they give you is considered a retail coupon so I was probably overcharged closer to $3.50 in sales tax, not just two dollars. The two dollars in overcharged sales tax is correct because I took the subtotal before they even took the coupon off like when I was at $30 and then I took the tax rate they have in my area and it came to about two dollars more than I should’ve paid, but they refused to adjust it . I was thinking of disputing the charge with my credit card company, but since I received the product and it was just a tax dispute I’m not sure that the credit card company would take that as a dispute because I think they have to dispute the entire amount.

The offer is back for ‘snack’ GM products for Super Bowl, 13K for $30 in one trip.
GM cereal, Chex Mix, Old El Paso, Pillsbury fresh cookie/biscuit/rolls in dairy case, etc.
I can’t find a definitive list anywhere of exactly which UPCs are included in this new promotion.
Most likely the cashier just not asking.
My experience thus far has been any purchased over $50 they ask for ID… I made a $75 purchase last week and had him scan the barcode from my phone, but he still asked for ID.
Thanks, OP. I can’t get the app on my Smart TV because it is too old, but I can get the Peacock app on my Amazon Fire stick connected to my Smart TV.
I am also getting Paramount+ free for a couple months thanks to an Am Ex offer and I may even get some cashback via TCB.
Now I can continue to watch Monk TV episodes. They were taken off Netflix just a few days ago.

@mrvietnam Fetch is currently offering $5 GC for 5000pts at Meijer
Meijer.com
That’s good news for those who live near a Meijer, but there are none by me in Southern California.
I was at a grocery store today and they advertised this offer in the cereal aisle. It was advertised as getting a $10 gift card on Fetch when you buy $30 worth of General Mills products, so I guess they consider 13,000 points equivalent to a $10 gift card. That’s probably not too far from the truth…
@c3 said in Staples B&M Clearance (In store only, YMMV) Cottonelle Ultra Comfort Toilet Paper, 2-Ply, White, 268 Sheets/Roll, 18 MEGA/72 rolls $9.49:
I was going to Staples this weekend for this, until I read this review:
https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/the-best-toilet-paper/
“If you want a super-soft toilet paper and don’t mind a little butt dandruff: Cottonelle Ultra ComfortCare (our previous top pick) and the brand’s Ultra GentleCare (an aloe-infused cult favorite) are the softest toilet papers we’ve tested. However, they are also the dustiest and lintiest of all the papers we’ve tested, shedding tiny little lint bits and other residue everywhere the toilet paper touches, from bathroom cabinets to human bottoms. These are still super-comfy, super-cushy, and super-sturdy choices if you’re okay with tp residue.”
Low lint is the primary reason I switched to Charmin Ultra Strong, since I use it not just as “toilet paper”. Otherwise, I’m fine with Costco Kirkland.
Interesting read. Thanks for sharing.
The Staples I went to today didn’t have any more of the clearance Cottonelle, but I did get 12 cases of their store brand water that is marked down from $4.99 to $2.99 on sale. Since Office Depot stopped having water deals, I now get my case water at Staples. The $2.99 a case water deal is only good through tomorrow (1/18/25).

@mrvietnam You inspired me to check stock at nearby stores. One store supposedly has 13. All the others only have 2-3. The problem is using points from my friend’s account in a store that doesn’t know me.
True. If you buy several at one tine and pay with points they will probably ask to see your ID. I made several $20 purchases (actually $30 purchases, but $20 after the $10 off $30 coupon) around Christmastime and not once did they ask for ID. I plan on looking at another Staples near my house after work today to see if I can score some more. Toilet paper, although bulky, is nice because it does not expire or go bad and it seems fairly easy to resell it.
I wonder why Staples has it on clearance? Perhaps they’re not carrying that variety anymore.
I found eight at the store I was at on my way home from work. I was lucky because the clearance wasn’t marked on the shelf. They had a tag for like $22 a pack so they had plenty left.
It came to about $75 and the guy checked my ID when I use my points.
This was a good deal because using points took off the sales tax and if I would’ve bought these at Walmart it would’ve been $17.28 plus tax so would’ve been close to $19 l, so I got about 50% off the lowest price I could’ve got it for anywhere else.
Any PhatWallet winners? it looks like each winner got 100,000 points and there were 180 winners for 18 million points in total.

I got a notification on my phone. It said 180 winners will share 18 million in Fetch points.

I’m not sure if it’s one big prize or if there’s also smaller prizes. Usually with a livestream there are lots of smaller prizes too, it’s not like the sweepstakes with just 1 winner.
That is awesome. Thanks for the HU. How did you know about it? Was it advertised in the app?
EDIT: Nevermind, I open the app and just saw it advertised on the app.

FYI “from late 2019 to mid-2024, Capital One lowered and then froze the 360 Savings account rate to just 0.30%, even as rates increased nationwide. In contrast, starting in early 2022, Capital One increased the 360 Performance Savings account rate. In fact, the rate went from 0.40% in April 2022 to 3.30% as of January 2023, and 4.35% as of January 2024”
Yes, I noticed that. It seemed very strange that their rates were near zero at a time when the interest rates were skyrocketing everywhere else… I have two children savings accounts with capital one and I’ve noticed ever since about a year ago, the rates have went up quite a bit…
No matter what the cashiers may try to tell you at the register, the rewards coupons that you get for spending at big lots will continue to scan and work. I had a $5 off $15 coupon that they kept on telling me that they couldn’t accept any coupons during the liquidation sale, but last week I got an email from big lots saying that although you can’t earn new rewards coupons, the existing ones can be used and they will work. I asked to talk to a manager, but the cashier said “OK let me just scan it and see if it works” and of course it did.

Anyone have a preferred seller for used cartridges on Ebay? It seems around 21 cents a cartridge shipped is the best going rate for around 450 carts. That would be 15 months for me, provided Staples sticks with the current program. I hate to buy too large an amount since my OD closed, and who knows what Staples is going to do in the future with recycling.
I have a preferred seller of used ink cartridges on eBay. I really like them. just about 45 minutes from my house and they are quite generous at least to me. My last order I ordered a lot of 450 used ink cartridges and I got nearly 575 in the box they sent me… of course your mileage may vary and it might’ve been just a mistake on their part. I’m not by my computer but later I’ll update this post and post the name of the seller. The seller often has the lowest prices that I have seen, but there are a lot sizes on the high side
EDIT: The seller I bought from was Planet Green Electronics. Very happy with this eBay seller.
I got a really good deal as eBay offered me a $25 off a $75 app coupon, that couldn’t have come at a better time. S, after tax, I only paid about $82 for 575 carts, or about 14 cents a cartridge.

My wife went to recycle, did tech, battery and ink and no $10 off $30 came out.
That is correct. No new $10 off $30 purchase coupon. Coupons are not printing, as I reported in this thread two days ago.
I just got an e-mail from Big Lots. They said the last time that you can use a Big Lots gift card will be on January 16, 2025. So if any of you have any unused Big Lots gift cards, you have just eight days to use them up.
A snippet from the e-mail:
As you may know, our stores are currently undergoing liquidation. As a result, this means we will no longer be able to accept Big Lots gift cards after January 16th.
In the terms of service, are a husband and wife, both living together at the same address, allowed to each have their own individual account? I manage my wife’s account and recycle & redeem for her.
You might as well recycle a single alkaline battery while you’re there and get an extra $2.50 in rewards money.
if you’re looking for something to use your rewards money on, Staples has their store brand case water (24 count) on sale up until a week from this Saturday for $2.99 a case. Even though the $10 off $30 purchase coupon isn’t printing anymore for recycling, to get case water at Staples for three dollars a case to me is a very good deal, especially since you got the rewards money for nothing except for the price of the empty cartridges, so the water is pretty much free.
