Seemingly my last deal with >$1/gal off gas. All I have now is ~$0.30/gal off. Wish I could find some more promo codes.

@mtnagel I use messages.google.com as well, but the phone app gives you access to files. I have a Samsung phone and use the DEX app to control the phone from the computer and transfer files.

I found the app and I’m trying to figure out if I have any use for it. Not sure I see any reason to make a call on my computer if I have my phone. And it looks like you have to connect you phone to your computer, right? I some times want to transfer files from my phone to my computer, but I just send to google drive. What do you use it for?
It is great for texting and sending files/photos directly from your computer to text msgs on your phone. It’s also much faster and easier to reply to texts using a full size keyboard on your computer. Have to say, been really enjoying the ability to use my PC as my phone texting station when I’m at home.
I already text on my laptop with messages.google.com, which I love, but I was specifically asking about the DEX app that zerenia mentioned.
Enlighten me, what is the DEX app about?
Great question. That’s what I was trying to figure out when I quoted zerenia
I’ve never used it so i dont know. I did find this link (https://www.samsung.com/us/apps/dex/) and it seems ok, but it seems like you have to be plugged in, so doesn’t seem better than what I’m doing now which is wireless.

a bluetooth enabled computer is req’d for calls, no BT req’d for texting.
No link or name of the app?

There’s no link for me either. Here you go - https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/phone-link/9NMPJ99VJBWV
For me, not sure I have much use for this app. I already use - https://messages.google.com/web/ - to read and reply to messages, but no app needed for that.

https://www.cit.com/cit-bank/bank/savings/platinum-savings-accountSo dumb they play these games with new accounts getting higher rates, but I’ll play their games since they make it trivial to transfer all your money over when you open a new account.

WOW! I’m so glad I didn’t go! I’m not sure what I would line up for 2 hours for, but saving $7 on a pizza isn’t it. But I’m glad you went and have no regrets

RE: AMEX OFFERS (Targeted) Charge $115+ on wireless bill, get $15 statement credit (x 2) to 8/15/23
I have the same offer as the OP. I saw it less than 1 hour after my autopayment hit, so I charged $115 to my Amex and already got the email saying I redeemed an offer. But then it dawned on me I’m saving $15 off my bill with autopayment, which I still have set up obviously. So I assume even if I prepay the bill ahead, I’ll still get the autopayment discount on my next bill, right? My bill is about $140 and I charged $115, so an autopayment would still happen if I don’t prepay again. So I think I’ll just let it prepay the $25 in a month and then just prepay $90 after that hits, which seems to be the safest unless I’m overthinking this which is probably the case

RE: Upside app - anyone ever get credited?
@mistercheap said in Upside app - anyone ever get credited?:
they sent me an offer to earn $10 if I get food 2x between now and 3/31 on top of the Cashback. Easy to do
I got that too but not really easy for me as we rarely eat out. I’m trying to decide if it’s worth to go out when we otherwise wouldn’t just to get the deal. There are a couple breweries in the app so if I go get 2 beers twice, that would be around $24. I’d get around $5 back because they are always ~25% back and then I’d get $10 back. So 4 beers for around $10 is a pretty good deal.
