@pakle said in Aven: Free $5 Weekly Starbucks Giftcard If You Have 700+ Vantage 4.0 Credit Score + Homeowerner:
Interesting new signups get $5 Dunkin instead of Starbucks now. I still have $5 SB as my only option, which is fine because i never go to Dunkin.
Also, I haven’t been offered another chance to spin the wheel for over 4 weeks, and I do remember to check each week. So maybe that part has ended or it’s not a fixed schedule.
I see different ads/links for new sign ups. The Starbucks is still around, but that never piqued my interest to sign up as I never go to Starbucks. About 2-3 weeks ago, the Dunkin offer showed up in my FB feed and I joined. Went again today, got my 140 rewards points 1/4 of the way to another free large beverage. Cost $4.23 with tax.
So with my system of getting the $5 each week, I get 560 points every 4 weeks so over the course of the year I’ll earn enough points for 13 large cold brews. I’ll redeem those mainly on hot days in the summer on a non-Monday.
That’s awesome and thanks for using my referral. What’s crazy is I can’t find any reference to them now giving Dunkin’ gift cards. I can’t even find it in Facebook’s ad library. What’s funny though is their latest ad quotes my post (without giving credit ;)) but they have the URL wrong. LOL
Edit: nevermind. I just didn’t scroll down far enough. They started the Dunkin ones in March - https://www.facebook.com/ads/library/?active_status=active&ad_type=all&country=US&is_targeted_country=false&media_type=all&q=Aven Advisor&search_type=keyword_unordered

RE: Laptop processors

I’m comparing 2 laptops and the only obvious difference is the processor with the one with the faster processor being a little less expensive. Why is that? Does it matter if one doesn’t play games?
The specific laptops are this one and this one.
I have $1100+ in Rewards on this Staples account, 99% of which is from ink recycling.
I don’t really need a laptop ATM but why not?
Is there a reason you are going with a business laptop? There are way cheaper laptops you can buy. I know you said you are using rewards points, but why waste them when you don’t need to?

RE: Burger King APP: New Bounce Basketball Game, win crowns/food prizes 1x per day
I love how BK gives away so many free points. In one account I won 775 points during this promo. The others were in the 400 range. When you combine the offers and use multiple accounts, you can get a bunch of cheap food.

Something weird and glitchy going on. I haven’t yet been able to see the game in the app yet today. I ended up logging in via a desktop browser and was able to access the game that way. And for another account on a different phone, the game showed fine. All for naught regardless, won another damn chick wrap.
I’ve been having issues, but only some accounts/browsers/apps. Very bizarre. Of course after I write that, working totally fine now. But I only won food which is useless to me (I’m vegetarian).

Hi there! Thanks so much for submitting your image. This campaign is valid for $3 off any Starry product when purchased from any restaurant, cafeteria, airport or other retail establishment carrying Starry. Unfortunately, the product you purchased is not sold at those establishments- however, we are offering $2 when purchasing Starry from your local grocery store or retailer, so you can sign up for that here: https://starry.gotoaisle.com and submit your receipt!
So I guess I will submit the receipt for $2 as it is better than nothing. After uploading the receipt I got a welcomed reply:
Money is on the way! Your receipt for STARRY was approved and $2 will be reimbursed within 24-48 hours.
That’s insane that my soda stream concentrate got approved as it’s not sold at any of those locations either. Guess they had no clue what it was and thought it was a 20 oz or something.

I went TCB-> eBay for ink carts. Used Paypal and within minutes my Paypal account showed that I completed the offer.
Whatever the issue was, their support was able to fix it and gave me 1000 points that I could immediately cash out and transfer to my bank account. I saw the offer was still showing in my account so I just bought a $10 gift card through paypal and it immediately showed that I redeemed the offer and the points went pending so looks like I was able to get 2 rewards in one account.
My second $10 reward was redeemable just now. Transferred to bank. Free $10 to Taco Bell and $10 to Target. Not bad.

so by the words food service establishment does that mean I can’t buy my Starry 2 L at a grocery store and still qualify for the aisle offer?
But you saw what I said. There is an OR statement so it could possibly work if you just take a picture of you and the 2L like it did for me with the soda stream concentrate. Up to you if you want to take the risk. I already had the product, so zero risk for me.

RE: FETCH: Spend $3 on Starry or Starry Zero Soda, get 3K points x2 redemptions (all sizes except 20oz)
$2 and $3 offers from Aisle. Assume you can’t stack both of them, but any of them with the Fetch offer should work.
$2 - https://starry.gotoaisle.com/
$3 - https://starry.gotoaisle.com/festivalsweepsHere’s the text back from the $3 one:
You’re in!
Ready to get $3 back on STARRY?
Here’s how to redeem your STARRY offer:
- Buy STARRY at your food service establishment by 9/30
- Text us a PHOTO of your receipt OR of you and your STARRY
- Sit back and watch your $3 roll in, your choice!
Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe.
I had a soda stream Starry concentrate I bought on Amazon and sent them a selfie with me and the bottle and got $3 back. But it says, “food service establishment” but of course if you buy a 20 oz from a grocery store, how would they know it didn’t come from a food service establishment.

Thanks to this deal, it pushed me over 550 in my of my accounts so this was yesterday’s dinner for my SO and myself. The vast majority of our BK crowns come from the games they have as we never really have much spend to earn crowns. After ordering the onion rings in the app, I get to the drive thru and they say they don’t have onion rings so they gave me fries instead. I complained in the app and got my crowns back. I have to say the BK churros with chocolate dipping sauce are pretty damn good!

Just as an update, I just got off the phone with PayPal customer service and they said that the points are showing as pending in their system, even though it’s not showing in the app. She said it can take up to 14 days after the purchase date for the points to show up in your account. So some of you that got points right away that’s great, but in my case, she sees it in the system, but it’s not able to be seen on my end yet and she says probably by next week they’ll post to my account. I don’t care when they show up as long as I eventually get them. So that was basically $10 off my oil change today at Walmart since zI use the Walmart gift card I bought for this offer to pay.
That’s good to know. I got a response from my email asking to forward the order so hopefully that will fix my issues.

RE: Amazon Prime Amazon Brand - Happy Belly Tellicherry Black Pepper Whole Peppercorn, (Course Ground In the link Below) 16 ounce (Pack of 1) 25% Off S&S U $12.75 = $7.05 ExpUnk
I bought this recently but haven’t used it yet so not sure on the quality but ratings are good. This seems to be the normal price - $7.69 for 500g/18 oz - which is a smidge cheaper unit price vs this deal (which I’m not seeing the 25% off anymore). When I got it, it was only $5.41 so that was a great deal.

@mtnagel deals that are specific to your account where you’ve already banked these rewards and can’t really be duplicated by most on the forums should go here.
It’s really best to post deals that are live or about to start rather than recapping what you got, and deals that available to either everyone or most people via an app or website.
Moved this to deal discuss as it’s not really a hot deal for all or most of the community to take advantage of.
I assume everyone with a PJ account got the free $5 today. It’s not specific to my account. I had no banked rewards. No clue on the $6 carryout deal though.

Small 1 topping carryout pizza from Papa John's after deal and free rewards $ - Today 3/18 only
(Is there subforum for food deals?)
Papa John’s is doing multiple days of deals for pi day and today they gave me $5 in rewards dollars which can be combined with promos. I had a deal for a $6 small 1 topping pizza so it makes the pizza $1. I still can’t believe a small PJ pizza is $12 but here we are.
I also had a code for free cheesesticks from filling out the survery from my previous free cheesestick order which I’ve done at least half a dozen times.
Rewards money said expires 3/19 so probably can do it tomorrow, but emails said today only so I did it today.

This is exactly what happened to me! Credit card came yesterday via UPS Express with signature release. I wonder if rejecting it would have done anything. They probably would have just sent it again. Anyway, I sent them an email to close the credit account, but I suspect it will require a phone call. Ugh, what a shady company!
So as mentioned, I emailed them 2 days ago. They emailed me today that they canceled the card and deleted the account tradelines from your credit report and requested Experian to reverse the hard inquiry. So while it’s definitely really scammy what they did, at least they took care of it quickly.

$20 or $25 off $35 restaurant orders through Uber Eats through Instacart
You might not have the same coupons and you might not think it’s a great deal, but apparently you can order Uber Eats through Instacart and I had a $20 and $25 off $35 order (in 2 separate accounts). I found a local Asian place that’s on there and they have BOGO deals on certain dishes so ended up get $67 of food for $16. It’s easily 4 meals or more for the 2 of us. This was using the $20 coupon but I plan to use the $25 coupon too.
-
RE: Instacart+ delivered: Two targeted/stackable promos yield 50% off from Marianos/Food4Less/Kroger affiliates
So I have 30% off any amount when paying with Paypal (I don’t have their debit card if that’s what you mean). But my best coupon is $10 off Meijer but have to spend $90. So I did a test order and I can get free Instacart plus, so that knocks off a bunch of fees, so looks like the best I could do is about $69 for $92 worth of stuff and that’s with a 5% tip (never do grocery delivery so not sure what is appropriate, but that’s what it defaulted to). So my net is about 25% off. Not bad but not as good as your 50% off and mine expires on 3/16 and I just went shopping yesterday so it would be a struggle to find $90. Thanks for posting though as I didn’t know to look at paypal to do Instacart orders. I’ve used it for grocery pickup before when they had good coupons.

@mtnagel then don’t do the deal.
I didn’t. Just figured I’d post an alternative if someone didn’t want to deal with Walgreens cash (like I typically don’t) or wanted Cottonelle instead of Charmin for the same unit price.
Some people actually DO NOT shop at Amazon.
And some people DO.
-
RE: SEE POST! WALGREENS.com with Free Ship: Get 2 x 72 roll Charmin and Two 33.8oz Crest Mouthwash for $42 + tax ac/promos, earn $28.45 in Wags Cash
So I did the $/sheet math and this comes out to about the same unit price as Cottonelle on Amazon with 15% off for S&S and an extra 15% off coupon available now. My SO prefers Cottonelle. I think it’s equivalent to Charmin. To be fair, this is just buying 3 packs of TP because I have zero use for any of the other products like the mouthwash so my Walgreens cash is reduced. Plus I hate having Walgreens cash anyway. I rarely go there and their prices are so jacked up that I don’t consider it like having real money. It’s definitely a decent deal, just not for me.

So I submitted 6 random receipts I already had. 4 were from grocery stores ranging from just a few items as mentioned to a full shopping trip and 2 were from restaurants. It was only supposed to be $1 each, but I got $12 so seemingly $2 for each. But the weird thing is I got 4x $2, one for $1 and one for $3. The tracking doesn’t show which is which. Off to submit more receipts. Should be able to knock out 24 reciepts in a couple weeks between grocery trips and restaurants. Hopefully will get $48 total.
No clue how they count a food item and I thought the limit would be 24 submissions times $1 limit each, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I’ve submitted 17 receipts and I’m up to $35 back. Some receipts I’ve gotten $4. Very weird how they are handling this one.

RE: $10 Rebate on 2 12packs of Coca Cola Family 12oz cans.
Finally got my rebates. Bought 8x 12 packs at Kroger for $5 each. Submitted 4x rebates on Feb 4th. Got $40 in Venmo overnight so it took about 3 weeks. Free soda - Yay!

@mtnagel I got the $5 in my bank today too. I would take the referral money over Starbucks any day lol.
Same. I’ve been selling my Starbucks GCs. $3 in cash have more value to me than $5 at Starbucks.

Just checked Aven again and it says next SB $5 will be available in 11 hrs which means around midnight tonight PST. Will update if I actually see another one to claim tonight.
Yep just claimed another Starbucks $5 at midnight PST ( a bit later than their usual 8-9pm PST). Not sure why they allowed me to claim both Saturday and Sunday but I’ll take it!
That’s crazy. While I didn’t get an additional starbucks GC, I did finally get the referral money and bonuses they owed me. Showed up in my bank account today.

if you spend $50 pre tax, you’ll earn 12,500 points
Actually that is only 1250. 25 points times $50.

I’m not sure I’m following your math though. To get 54,000 fetch points, I’d have to spend $2160 at Chewy (25 x 2160). Which would get a me a $50 GC (although for me Amazon is 55,000 points). $50 on $2160 is only 2.31%. In Fetch, it says it excludes Autoship orders which is 5% off. With that said, I have a 5000 point offer in Fetch so that’s a pretty good deal.

My BoA card has a $10 off $49 offer. Guess it’s time to buy some litter.

I was able to claim another $5 Starbucks today Saturday. Usually it’s Sunday evening. We’ll see if they’ll have another tomorrow night then.
Also, I did email them about my missing $5 referral + $1 spin. Never got a response but Payout history shows $5 paid out yesterday so hopefully I’ll see this in my bank soon. No $1 for the spin I guess.
I was able to claim another Starbucks gift card today as well. Mine says I can claim another in 6 days so I assume I won’t get another tonight/tomorrow.
I also emailed them and got no response. My payout history now loads and says paid out on Feb 21 but haven’t actually gotten the deposit in my account.
