I just learned something about shopping on Amazon
just learned something interesting about Amazon.
I want a Concept 2 Rowing Machine. Model D
Here it is on Amazon.
Right below the title is a link to the Concept 2 store. That takes you here. See the Amazon logo upper left corner?
Scroll down to see the price.
Then, click here to see the item on Concept 2ās website.
If you buy directly from Concept 2 you pay shipping. For me shipping would be $45.Regardless of who I buy it from I have to pay 6% sales tax.
If I drive the 20 min to Morrisville theyād load it into my car. āFree deliveryā of sorts.
Thereās currently an 8 week wait for machines because people have been buying to work out at home instead of at a gym. If Iām willing to wait I might be able to get a āfactory secondā but with a waiting list Iām sure theyāre not having many āsecondsā.
LESSON LEARNED: If purchasing an item on Amazon check to see if thereās a manufacturerās website and donāt go via the link on Amazon.

@mistercheap This offer has re-set for me multiple times. Iām picking up my 4th free bottle today. Check the prices on the flavors. The berry one ($1.84) is cheaper than the coffee flavored one ($1.94) in my store.
Along with the Oikos Iāve also been getting a free Core bar at WM, also on 4th time around.
Found $1/1 peelies on Core bars at Shawās so theyāve been a $1 MM each time.Even better has been $1.50/1 Core bar at Shawās from iBotta. Theyāve been on sale 2/$3 making them free after iBotta (L3) and with the peelies each set of 3 has been a $3 MM. If you find similar deal, watch out for the lemon poppyseed. Its UPC isnāt in iBottaās system so youāll have to submit a Support ticket to get your $.

My offer says "1 day left:. I also have an offer for Mt. Dew Frostbite 20 oz $1.88 free after Ibotta. It says that offer has 4 days left. Now to see if my local Walmart even carries any of this stuff.
EDIT: I found out my store only carries the 20 ounce size of Mt. Dew Zero Sugar. The same thing happened a while back when they offered a 2L of Pepsi Zero Sugar. My store had it in 20 oz, but not in the 2L size.
IB offers vary from area to area. this Zero offer just came out today on a deal blog published in NJ. I doubt itās expiring tomorrow around the northeast.
Your blog is a little slow, lol. Iāve had the Mtn Dew Zero offer for a few weeks. It came out the same day as the one for the Pepsi Zero and is expiring shortly in the northeast. My offers were/are: Pepsi Zero 2 liter (got it), Mountain Dew Zero 2 liter (not sure Iāll get to the store that has it) and Mountain Dew Frostbite 20 oz. (also only at the far away store)
I also have free Flow Alkaline water which isnāt even on the Walmart app. Iāve had that one for more than a week.Iām working on a bonus and was looking to buy a 20 oz bottle of Pepsi. Turns out that my stores only have 20 oz bottles of Coke.

RE: Current iBotta offers, YMMV. Expirations vary.
I donāt read the DS threads here so I would like the duplication.
I donāt think listing by store is helpful because there arenāt that many of us and we all shop at different grocery stores.
I think it should be a running thread with discussion and not a Master thread.
A new post would appear in Unread so you shouldnāt miss it, MisterCheap. You could also subscribe to the thread.
If an offer is tied to a DS deal it will be discussed in that thread and might not be in this thread. Thatās fine with me. -

@c3 I was going to post it so I searched to find this thread so I could c&p. I saw this one wasnāt expired. Then I decided not to post the new one because you canāt roll the cards any longer and you canāt cash them out at WM any longerā¦ but I guess Iāll do it so we can discuss that.

RE: $15 off 2 @ $100 Visa gc with J4u (Safeway, Acme, Shaw's, Vons, et al) exp. 11/07/20
I just got a new Chase Sapphire at the beginning of the month. Spend $4k in 90 days get $800 in pts. I thought easy, just get gc . Then WM shut down m.o. conversions. But Iāll probably get the Visa cards at Shawās for the $3 in free groceries. I might even get the piddly $50ās which are a break even just to increase my spend towards the $800 sign up bonus. I would prefer not to do it at Staples because I get 5% back on Chase Ink at Staples.

@mistercheap Iāve been getting paid out to bank accounts and to PayPal. I believe we have until Nov. 30 to do that. Really, you donāt have any kind of cell phone for texts?
I guess our society now is kind of leaving people w/o tech behind. Almost have to have a smartphone now for apps to get many deals at fast food, digital savings (Ibotta, q.com, etc). Maybe a friend can help you out? D/L the coupons.com app, you create an account w/your info from savingstar. activate an offer, register your paypal there and get the money in your savingstar when it pays out. after you do all the āred tapeā stuff, you donāt even have to keep the app on that persons phone, just delete it. your account will remain āactiveā.
I lost my flip phone in Dec. 2019. Iād previously verified with it but i canāt re- verify now. I use a $20 LG smartphone with WiFi for iBotta. I have/had 6 S* accts. and sent earnings to PayPal and to different bank accounts at least a month apart. The merchant can see the name associated with a PayPal account regardless of the email used. So using different email addresses doesnāt mean you can have multiple q.com accounts. What good is one, LOL?

RE: Petsmart $15 off $60 in store Q exp 12/9 w/PetsPerks account
@mistercheap I have 56 bags of Pro Plan dry cat food in stockpile. Itās taking a long time to use them up because much of the time the kids are eating a raw diet which I make at home. I buy chicken on sale for $0.69/lb. 40 lbs of wood pellets (litter) is only $5.99 at Tractor Supply. Solids are flushable and saw dust is compostable. I got the cat litter and Litter Genie because they were MMAR. Theyāll be in my next yard sale.

RE: Are Roth IRAs really that good?
Are you trying to spark conversation by being controversial? Did your parents not give you financial education? Not saving for your future because you want to have fun now? Seriously? You canāt regain the time lost. I presume youāve seen the graphs showing the importance of investing over time.
Are you talking about Roth IRA vs. other forms of saving towards retirement? Traditional IRAās the money was put away pre tax but then you paid the tax when you withdrew it. In theory your tax rate after 65 is lower BUT with a Roth thereās no tax after 59. So Roth > traditional IRA.
I had a lot of fun when I was younger and I continue to have fun but starting when I was 27 yrs old I started putting $2500 a year in a traditional IRA. Back then thatās all I could contribute. Roth didnāt exist. Limits have probably changed. 25 years later my initial $2500 was $30K. Looking back would I rather have had another $2500 in fun or would I rather have $30K today? Its a no brainer.
