I was converting BC to Amazon gc then using Amazon gc to buy e.g. Irving gas, PetSmart & Shaw’s gc. So BC was paying for gas, cat food & my food. That’s no longer an option. I rarely buy from Amazon otherwise.
Now I need other ways to use up BC/Amazon gc.
At least Amazon gc don’t expire like BC.

@dangeruss Thanks, I’ll give it a try. It’s not as good as the one I have but I’d get it for the bonus then close it. Business Cash gives 5% on office supplies, phone & internet; 2% on gas and restaurants. Unlimited gives 1.5% regardless of category. I max out the 5% buying gc at Staples.

No, not callable. Typically only CD’s purchased through a brokerage account have call features.

I got it 4 months ago and recently opened it because I need activate the phone service before 6 months, I think. My review: nice camera and better memory than the Moto I’m using but for my purposes its too heavy. I don’t like having to unlock it and there are too many reminders, messages, bells & whistles that I can’t seem to disable.

@madman555 I don’t know their algorithm but I’ve had Premier every year since 2001 except in 2023 when they gave me Elite for a year as an apology for making a mistake on my account.

ETA: Length of membership must be a factor. I just checked my Dad’s account. I’ve just been recycling tech on it since that program started and he got 400 points on 15 carts/month.

I use virtual rebate cards to pay electric bill, attorney fees, accountant, car & home insurance, etc. I don’t use them for phone & Internet because I get 5% back on those from Chase Ink. I too have more Amazon gc than I need and am trying to cash those out.

If you received the email with $30/$60 coupon that had no code, CS told me that later today Corporate will be resending the email with a code in it.
I’m thinking of getting 2 boxes of 96-count kcups on sale @$34.99 ea - $30/$60. Earn 29x points on $39.98, 1159 points which I “think” is $5.79. Net $34.18 for 192 K cups, 18¢/cup.

Last week I also got 1000 pts for Duncan’s birthday. The points expire in April. I added them and they never showed up in my point total. Miranda got a coupon for $3 off of any cat treat for her birthday. I used the $3 q and 1K in points to pay 49¢. My limited experience with short dated points is that they don’t appear in the point expiration list.

@zennuts If there are still rebates remaining out you could buy $100 in Lowe’s gc to earn $16 BC. Then buy Glucerna for $16.99. Use the $5/1 mq. Pay $11.99, get back $15 rebate. Rebate exp. 3/15 or after 5K redemptions.
Then you only have to spend $4 more at RA. Eggs are usually reasonably priced.
