Top Cashback and Flash Fridays $2.50 back on $10 exp. 11/19/21
-
One day only offers each Friday.
Weekly Mystery bonus that needs to be activated. I got $3 wyb $10 today.
Enter a weekly drawing for $50 after you answer a multiple choice question. This week my question was "What was the best Secret Santa gift you received?"
Every Friday until Nov. 19th.
-
I got a $3 wyb $10 offer too. Hasn’t credited yet though.
-
@harperr I bought something on eBay yesterday and today I received the email that my purchase had tracked.
I wonder if $3/$10 is bait and if next week it will be e.g. $10 wyb $100.

I did well on my Groupon purchase yesterday, 30% off with code, 10% regular TCB plus the $3 bonus. Paid $17ish net for certificates that normally sell for $10.50 each x 3 ($31.50)

@mistercheap I don’t need anything so its challenging for me to find something to buy. Both Petco and PetSmart have poor inventory systems for BOPUS. My orders have been cancelled more often than they’ve been filled. I stood in Petco looking at the shelves. I could place orders for items they don’t have but couldn’t place an order for items they had.
I’m already thinking about what to get next time. I used to get wood pellets from TSC (thanks to briarycliffs) but they’re $5.99 at TSC and I got them for $2 on FB marketplace. There’s a national shortage of the canning jars that I use. If available (like on Amazon) they’re from 3rd party sellers wanting 3x the usual price. 🤔. Lowe’s and HD are an hour away.

Yes, it can be a challenge, especially when it’s a ONE DAY offer like this was. The Groupon 30% off timing was perfect and TCB had the best CB rate there even w/o the bonus, there’s a Cajun restaurant that allows take out with the groupon that I maxed out on. Haven’t been yet, but the online reviews are wonderful and their prices are quite fair to start, so really a deal when I’m getting $15 worth of food for about 1/2 price net. Have 6 months to use them which is plenty of time.

This week’s offer is $2.50/$10. Expires 11:59PM on 10/22.
-
I found the canning jars that I wanted at an Ace Hardware! Ace has 4% back. Just putting this out there for those who might also be a little rural. No local Groupon within an hour drive.
-
I normally get a gift card through giftcards.com with these offers.
-
@harperr LOL. The offer excludes gift card purchases but obviously doesn’t exclude purchasing from giftcards.com.
-
Not a fortune teller, but I see another pack of FAR Office Depot batteries in my future.

I just scrolled through the site. They don’t have a great selection but they do have Staples g.c. available for $10. I usually pay for my Staples purchases with Chase Ink for 5% back but 25% off is more better. If I get 3 that will make my bi-annual $30 ink purchase really cheap. Or maybe I will buy Plus for my non-Premier account… 🙂
TCB promotes cash back from Staples but the T&C exclude all the things Staples coupons exclude like tech, electronics and ink.
ETA: I received notification from TCB that my Ace order had tracked less than 5 minutes after receiving the Ready For Pick Up email from Ace.
-
I tried to do this today, and was able to enter the flash contest, but when I tried to activate the mystery bonus, I got, “Unfortunately, you can no longer activate this promotion. Browse our Top Offers page to find other deals you may like.”
-
They updated the link for the bonus on their FB page: https://bit.ly/30RHtPD
It’s $2.50 on a $10+ purchase.
-
@yoregano did you try to use the link to last week’s offer? If you did then you just had to go to their home page to get the current offer.
-
$4 back on $10 today only.
-
$3.50 back on $10 on 11/5 only.
Don’t forget the humming birds are still flying.

Don’t forget the humming birds are still flying.Didn’t their bonus offers used to be $5 bonus cashback on a $10 purchase? That must have been a few years ago before they changed it.
-
This week’s one day offer is only $2.50/$10.
The last Hummingbird day is this Monday, Nov. 15.

@mrvietnam My purchases and bonuses have posted 10/15, 10/22, 10/29 and 11/5. Have you started with an empty cart? Did you buy something that doesn’t count? I know that there’s no cb on ink, tech, etc. at Staples. IDK if same applies for OD/OM.
Buy a $10 gc for your supermarket. At best you get $2.50 + 10¢ back, at worst you spent $10 on groceries.

I bought FAR batteries. I chose in-store pick up. I wonder if that had anything to do with it? Yes, I started with an empty cart.

Did the purchase itself show up? If so, wait 14 days and file a ticket. For some merchants, the bonus does not track if the purchase is made on the last day (in this case, the only day) of the bonus offer.

No, the purchase itself did not show up, but this isn’t the first time and I have not had a good track record of TCB approving cashback for purchases that don’t automatically track. Sometimes my purchases track and sometimes they don’t. Doesn’t seem to be much rhyme or reason to it.
-
@mrvietnam Have you tried logging out and logging back in before purchasing? There must be a reason that it doesn’t see you.

I will have to try that next time to see if it makes any difference. The funny thing is sometimes my Office Depot purchases track and sometimes they don’t. Same with Rite Aid.
-
@mrvietnam So it’s not the merchant. If it’s a merchant in which I’ve built a cart (like RA or Staples) I make sure my cart is empty then I log out. I want to be sure the system sees an empty cart. Then I log back in, click to activate the promo again even though I already did then Continue Shopping then enter the merchant’s name.

My Staples order from this morning already tracked. Not even shipped yet.

Same with me, ordered at Best Buy, got the Best Buy CB but not the bonus. opened a ticket. TCB in my experience has one of the highest ‘doesn’t track’ properly incidences of all the CB sites I use and their batting average on getting you what you’re owed after a ticket is pretty poor too. Months go by sometimes with no follow up, and no CB. Geez, even Swagbucks has come through for me lately, albeit you have to nag them to death.
-
TCB actually came through for the $110 HBO Max cashback that was advertised by mistake. Perhaps because that one attracted too much attention at DOC.
