Good deal, but last year it was only 99 cents for 12 months at this time. So a 100% price increase. I will still probably get it though. Always nice to have Hulu to choose from among my streaming options. I am really liking Tubi, too, and it’s free.

@sonofzeus Thanks for the heads up!
I signed up for the $1.99/mo Hulu, and had the option of adding the Disney+ add-on for $2.99/mo, for a total of $4.98/mo.

I’ve heard…Discover and CapitalOne waive any monthly balance under $2. If so, this offer could be free with the right dusty card.

but it is taxable in most places, your charge will be over $2 with sales tax so I’d rethink that suggestion. won’t work for most.

@mistercheap Pay with PayPal linked to the Discover/CapitalOne and use rewards to cover anything over $2.

True about the price increase this year. But Hulu has been running this November promo for several years now and sometimes it’s been $.99 per month, sometimes it’s been $1.99. It’s still about the best mainstream streaming deal out there. Glad to see the Disney+ add-on for $2.99 is available.
The best option is of course to give up paying these mega-companies for tv at all, but that can be a discussion for another day.

Interesting… I didn’t know that was a thing. I miss the days when monopolies were illegal.
