Easy peasy. Thanks, MC. Can always use some soft toothbrushes and it being a $1.47 MM will even pay for the gas to puck them up.
You can pay with Wag’s Cash, right MC? Because the Wags Cash offer is for buy 2 and get $4 in Wag’s Cash. Correct me if I am wrong, so I can cancel the order if need be.

Same here. I got my $4.04 in Wags Cash posted already, but then again my order did already ship. Not sure if you get the $4 immediately after the order is placed or after it has shipped.
While I was on the Walgreens site checking, I got a HU that some of my Wags cash is expiring very soon:
Expiring soon: $9.26 Walgreens Cash rewards on April 1, 2023.
So it looks like I will need to spend $9.26 in the next two or three more days or lose it. Any suggestions? Glad they gave me a warning or it would have expired on me. I guess it expires after a year? Not really sure. Some of my Wags Cash I have had banked for a long time.
I see I also got a Wags digital coupon that is attractive:
Earn $5 W Cash rewards on your next purchase
Storewide
Valid online or In store
Expires: 04/05/23

I don’t know if buying something and returning it would work, if there’s really nothing you want to purchase:
“For in-store purchases: once Walgreens Cash rewards are redeemed in-store, Walgreens Cash rewards cannot be credited back to Member’s account. The Walgreens Cash rewards dollars will be refunded to Member in the form of store credit. For online purchases: When returning items purchased with Walgreens Cash rewards online or through the mobile app, the Walgreens Cash rewards can be credited back to Member’s account.”

Expires: 04/05/23Wags cash expires 6 months after earning if you have no Wags cash activity in that time. There’s a bunch of Wags deals for the week posted on SD, just search Walgreens over there for some ideas either store pick up or do the deals in store to use it. Spending any amount oop should earn you a new $5 in wags cash too.

Wags cash expires 6 months after earning if you have no Wags cash activity in that time. --NOT QUITE RIGHT
Is it six months or a year from earning that they expire if not redeemed? Whatever the case, they will expire regardless of your activity, as I have expiring rewards to contend with almost every month. I usually get an email telling me the amount of rewards that will expire each month, and I can see it if I open the app and go to my rewards tab/area.
FWIW, it looks like the shipping options changes when I ordered just now, there was no ship-to-store option for me. I did an in-store pickup order, but had to add some other stuff to reach the $10 minimum.

maybe OOS for shipping, as for the redemption T&C’s on Wags Cash, going to find the official info from their site and post it later on.

Should any Program Member not utilize their Walgreens Cash rewards in a transaction for six consecutive calendar months, the membership will be deemed to be inactive and all accumulated Walgreens Cash rewards will be forfeited. For active Members, all Walgreens Cash rewards expire on a rolling 12-month basis and will expire at 11:59 pm CST on the last day of the redemption period.
https://www.walgreens.com/topic/help/generalhelp/mywalgreens-termsofuse.jsp
@yoregano not sure how much Wags cash you’re sitting in , but if you’ve yet to spend Wags Cash earned back in March 2022, it would be THAT amount that is up for expiration.
If you go into your activity section on your online account, you can see each transaction and how much wags cash you earned. So if you’re sitting on $45 in wags cash and you earned $12 of it a year ago with never spending or rolling it, that $12 will come up for expiration, which may be why you’re seeing these monthly warnings. Otherwise you shouldn’t if the wags cash was spent and rolled more recently. If that’s the case, you should contact them.

I think I will just buy something for $10 and pay with Wags Cash and then return it tomorrow and get a store credit. Has anyone tried that before? Nothing particularly exciting this week (besides the two MM toothbrushes). I probably should buy something I don’t mind keeping, just in case the return doesn’t go as planned.

I have plenty of activity and I still get expiring rewards notices almost every month, so I think time and not activity is the only factor, regardless of what the terms may say.
Edit: I guess I could have read the terms MrV posted above, yeah, that’s basically what I’m saying: Earned rewards expire one year after they are earned unless redeemed. For me, I typically have around $2-$5 about to expire, sometimes more. It’s not as much as it used to be since Wags discontinued the Healthy Choices way of earning extra rewards.

I did the buy and return way of using Wags Cash Rewards and sure enough, they issue you a store credit (return) card. Easy peasy and I got my $5 Wags Cash bonus. I am now down to $29 in Wags Cash. Nice way to use up expiring Wags rewards when there are no freebies or MMs to be had. Maybe next time I will have to find something for $30 to buy and return and transfer to return card completely as I don’t shop much at Wags. I usually only ship there when there is a freebie or MM, as I am sure is the case for most of us. I would hate to have any Wags Cash expire on me and me not knowing it. I wish on the website it would tell you for the next few months how much is expiring and on what dates.
Can Wags rewards expire any day of the month or just at the end of each month? Do I need to be checking daily to make sure no rewards are about to expire?

Everybody has their preferences, so dunno what you like, but I often get Scott Comfort Care toilet paper with the $1.25 coupon applied, makes it $3.75. I also got this week Arm & Hammer laundry detergent buy 1 get 2 free, so it’s three for $7.49. (Prices for me in IL, maybe prices are higher for you out in expensive LaLa land.)

Not sure on that, but a word of caution. Using store credit (W CARD) like Mr. V got today is like paying with wags cash, you won’t earn new wags cash if doing a $ based offer (earn $5 in Wags cash on $10 colgate) and you pay with the $10 return card. It is not a gift card. So if it can be used online for instance, same rules apply.
AFAIK these merchandise credits WILL work at the pharmacy to pay for co-pays, versus wags cash which you can’t redeem towards RX’es.

But the return cards will work to earn Wags Cash if the deal is say, buy 2, get $4 in Wags Cash (like this week’s deal).
