Just did it. Purposely added romaine that said was out of stock and something else was oos so saved $5. Prices are about 15% higher than in store. 10% tip. So figured I saved around 30%. Not amazing, but better than nothing and I didn’t have to go out while it’s 90F out.

The single Frappuccino was/is $2.91 at the end of June and again this week.
One cashier was able to change the price to $3.
Another cashier (the SCO supervisor at a different store) wasn’t able to change the price; register didn’t allow it.

Last month I bought one Lite Frappuccino @ $3.49 & 1 @ $2.91. The $3 j4u came off. Return the $3.49 item. Received $3.72 (incl. tax) refund.

This week bought 2@$2.91, $3/1 j4u came off. Paid $3.02 including tax.
Returned 1. Later realized that when SCO supervisor swiped the item for the return that my j4u price didn’t apply; it rang up full price $4.49. So my refund was $4.79 incl. tax. IDK if he should’ve swiped the receipt instead of the item or price modified it. I just wanted a freebie, not a MM.

Going forward will get a full price SB item for return, not one on sale. It would be easier if they went back to 2/$6.
