Current Tracfone Deals / Discussion thread

Thought I’d throw out the deal I got on my yearly tracfone. I got it using a new customer coupon for $25 off at QVC, but hsn has it for the same price so whichever one has the better coupon and/or free shipping. It includes 1 year of service, unlimited talk and text and 24g of data. Now the phone isn’t great but the plan is much better than the 1500/1500/1gb plan that they usually come with. I activated the phone today online, smooth sailing, and will transfer it back to my year old moto next week.

Or if you need a decent phone, qvc has the moto g stylus for $73 but has the lower plan. It’s a nice phone and I’m still going to use it.

I’m at the point where I need a phone with at least 128 GB of storage. Most TF deals seem to be for 64 GB phones.

Yes, it’s one year. It’s a great plan if everything works smoothly. I think Verizon is trying to curb the people (like me) who buy a new phone with plan every year instead of just adding the more expensive service.

I don’t need to refill/renew just yet, but yeah, that’s something to keep in mind. Wonder if there might be some better deals as the holiday shopping season gets closer.

Yes on both although I have never used Wi-Fi calling. My phone is almost exclusively on wifi, so the data should last me all year long.

I need advice please.
I’ve purchased 2 Tracfones each with a year of service but didn’t activate the service in time on either of them.
I use cell phones with wifi for ibotta.
Now rebates and sites are requiring 2 factor verification with a text so I need something to receive texts. Texts and a way to call 911 if my car breaks down. Google phone won’t do.
The battery on the first one is going. It’s probably 8-9 yrs old. I like its size.
I can’t find the 2nd phone at all. It’s got to be here but I can’t find it. I didn’t like it anyway. It’s too heavy.
The one that hasn’t been used at all that’s too heavy is a moto e5 from HSN purchased in 2020.
I’d like a year of service and lightweight.Does this one look ok?

If that’s all you’re going to use it for, go with the cheaper blu, moto or Nokia. Walmart also has one for $50 for moto with the bundle. Some grocery stores also carry the bundles phones now. If you do get it from qvc, watch for a new customer coupon.

You have to use a new credit card there to be a new user.
