Get Peacock for only $1.99/mo for 12 months (Code: BIGDEAL)
or 1 year for $19.99 (Code: YEARLONG).

If you have amex offer you can save even more. You can get the yearly deal for $19.99 and you should be able to get the $5.99 credit back from amex making the total $14. If you’re going to do the monthly deal you can get the add free plan for $7.99 for 3 months to get the amex credit (paying a net of $2 a month) and then switch to regular plan. You can also sign up for yearly ad-free plan for $79.99 after the promo code and get $20 back from amex (and maybe another $5.99 back?)

    DETAILS
Get $5.99 back as a one-time monthly statement credit, for up to 3 months, by using your enrolled eligible Card to spend $5.99+ in one or more purchases during the offer period. Valid online at peacocktv.com. Your ability to redeem will reset on a monthly basis until 1/31/2024. See terms.

    OFFER TERMS
Enrollment limited. Must first add offer to Card and then use same Card to redeem. Only U.S.-issued American Express® Cards are eligible. Limit 1 enrolled Card per Card Member across all American Express offer channels. Your enrollment of an eligible American Express Card for this offer extends only to that Card. Offer is non-transferable. Once you add the offer to your eligible Card, you must spend a minimum of $5.99+ in one or more qualifying purchases by the last day of each calendar month to be considered qualifying for a one-time statement credit. You may receive the one-time statement credit, up to 3 times (for up to 3 months of monthly minimum spend) during the offer period. Your ability to redeem will reset on the first day of each calendar month and end on the last day of the same calendar month until 1/31/2024. Limit of 1 statement credit per Card Member per monthly spend and 3 statement credits per Card Member per offer period (total of $17.97). A “qualifying purchase” means one or more purchases made in a calendar month with your enrolled Card on or before 1/31/2024 totaling at least $5.99+. Offer valid online only via peacocktv.com. In order to qualify, you must subscribe to Peacock online at peacocktv.com and pay Peacock directly with your eligible Card. If you do not already have a Peacock account, in order for your transaction to be eligible, you must visit peacocktv.com and create a Peacock account, select the “Peacock Premium” plan and enter your eligible American Express Card payment information. Excludes subscriptions bundled with cable services and bundles and promotional offers through third parties. Valid only on purchases made in US dollars. You may not receive the statement credit if we receive inaccurate information or are otherwise unable to identify your purchase as qualifying for the offer. For example, you may not receive the statement credit if (a) the merchant uses a third-party to sell their products or services; or (b) the merchant uses a third-party to process or submit your transaction to us (e.g., using mobile or wireless card readers); or © you choose to make a purchase using a third-party payment account or make a purchase using a mobile or digital wallet. Purchases may fall outside of the offer period in some cases due to a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date you made the transaction (for example, the purchase date for online orders may be the shipping date). Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 1/31/2024, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. Note that American Express may not receive information about your qualifying purchase from merchant until all items/services from your qualifying purchase have been shipped/provided by merchant. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your purchase as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. Limit 1 enrolled Card per American Express Card online account. The enrolled Card account must be active, not past due, canceled, or have a returned payment outstanding to receive statement credit. Any benefit earned from this offer is in addition to the rewards (i.e. Membership Rewards or cash back) earned as part of your existing Card benefits, but your ability to earn spend-based rewards for the purchase will be based on the amount after any statement credit or other discount is applied. Amex Offers are available for varying and limited periods of time and are dynamic and personalized. If you navigate away from the Amex Offers page, you may see different offers when you return. For questions regarding your Card Account, please call the number on the back of your Card. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer. Does Peacock offer any free trial periods? If so, does anyone have a link? There is a new Monk special called Mr. Monk’s Last Case: A Monk Movie coming out on 12/8 that I would like to watch, but I don’t need a long-term subscription.

$2.50 back at Rakuten, so if you sign up for the monthly deal and you get the CB, that’s like 1 free month.

I found a way to get Peacock TV for free for a few monhts. I have an Am Ex offer for it:
I totally bypassed the Black Friday deals for it because to qualify for the Am Ex offer I needed to spend $5.99 to get the $5.99 back (for 3 months).

@mrvietnam Yea that’s the offer I posted in the OP. I guess if you just want 3 months free this is a good deal. I’m just doing the year and hoping I get the credits.

I signed up for the monthly plan and now I was thinking of doing it for the whole year. I wonder if that $5.99 back American Express deal would still work since if I signed up for an annual plan now (under a different e-mail address)? Maybe they only issue you one of those $5.99 credits per month. Thinking about it the annual plan is clearly the best deal. It is too bad neither Peacock or Paramount+ let you pause your subscription.

Reading the terms of the offer it is doubtful I would get another $5.99 credit this month:

Get $5.99 back as a one-time monthly statement credit, for up to 3 months,

The Peacock offer ends tomorrow (Monday). Even without the $5.99 back from Am Ex, $1.75 a month for Peacock for a year is not a bad price at all. The more cheap or free streaming services I have the better because it means more choices. I got Hulu for 99 cents a month for a year. Disney for $2 a month for a year and now it looks like I will get Peacock for $1.67 a month for a year, for a total of $4.66 a month. I also get Amazon Prime. I think there is no need to get an annual plan to Paramount+ because they often offer codes that give you a month free anyway. Peacock doesn’t do that.

  • Signed up for the annual offer on Wednesday after I activated the $5.99 AmEx bonus. Still waiting for the $5.99 credit to hit my AmEx account.

I signed up for the monthly plan through Rakuten on Wednesday. I see the $2.50 cash back was reported and I got back my $5.99 yesterday in my Am Ex account. Maybe the 3 $5.99 credits only apply if you get the $5.99 monthly plan.

You cancel right away after subscribing. I did, do I don’t have to worry about forgetting to cancel. It says I will still have access to the content through 11/25/24.

typically the offer says “$5.99 or more” with streaming charges, so it should kick in on a one time $19.99 charge. But read the T&C carefully on amex to make sure it doesn’t specify a specific plan.

  • If you are an Xfinity customer, check your rewards. I have an offer for free peacock plus at platinum or diamond rewards level. Free peacock seems to last indefinitely as long as account remains at level and in good standing.

Comcast/Xfinity gave us all Peacock Plus for free until earlier this year, then they took it away. I am at Gold status and the offer is not showing on my Rewards page. Maybe because I took the $20 per year offer?

See above bolding. For me, the offer says rewards level must be Platinum or Diamond. So maybe you are not a high enough level for the current offer.
