Yes, we get the 10% off Q as well on above, but they were offering that even before this new offer hit.
I got my flu shot today, pharmacist handed me the 10% off paper Q. To be honest, I rarely have a huge out of pocket at Acme, maybe $20 tops? Have so many J4U offers/rewards, etc that there’s no need. So at most, that Q is worth $2 to me. I had no plans to get my flu shot at ACME until this newest offer came out. CVS is giving a $10/20Q valid in store online, but I’d rather have the straight $10 off groceries deal.
-
We can easily pull a $100 mixed basket of animal protein/produce/sushi around the holidays. The 10% off Q stacks with the 10000 rewards and my 5% back PayPal debit card.
-
Is this only if you sign up for their healthy living program?
-
@my4mainecoons Healthy Living app is accessed from the J4U app. Many opportunities for free J4U points in addition to this flu shot offer.
-
@sonofzeus doesn’t it want personal information? I recall looking at it and balking.
I get Rx’s filled at Shaws but the j4u info is in the system. I don’t know which account is getting rx’s filled. If I were to sign up for the wellness program I probably should do it using the account that fills rxs.
Like MisterC, a 10% coupon isn’t worth much.
Because of FreshPass, coupons & clearance items I only spend $15-$20/month at the supermarket in $1-$3 transactions.
An exception is buying for a rebate, e.g. $25 Kelloggs but I wouldn’t use a 10% off on a rebate lest the rebate get denied.

Evidently Healthy points and regular points earned from purchases are different. I just got an e-mail from Vons that said I earned 1,200 Healthy points last week, but I do not see them added to my point balance. They are in a separate bucket of points.l that don’t have the buying power that regular points do. It takes 1,000 Healthy points to redeem for a $1 off coupon.

The email was very specific about it being worth $10. not $1.

Well, maybe every market is different because I signed up for the health option on the app and I didn’t sign up for a flu shot, but I must’ve done something else and it said I had 1200 points waiting for me and when I went to redeem 1000 points was only worth a dollar, so go figure .

@MrVietnam Hi, ok, here’s the deal. you get 10K points (5K for scheduling and 5K for showing up for flu shot) so that is worth $10 based on 1000 points. Now, you earn points for various activities in the app, including signing in once in a while (so basically you got $1 for doing nothing but signing in). You can schedule a flu shot, and then cancel it for $5 in points or get your flu shot and get the other 5K.
