My Hyundai test drive was a FPITA. First dealer had a new general manager who had just stopped participating. Another dealer gave me a test drive but never processed the coupon. The salesman was no longer there when I checked back. I had to call and email way too much but I finally got it. It felt too much like work.

Fill out form and go to dealerOn mobile phone I was offered to redeem via txt and it gave me an 8 digit code. Dealer entered into their system and was sent an email to redeem.
You have the option to redeem for a virtual Visa or a physical one. Virtual sent right away, physical 7-10 business days. No fee for physical card though.

@ctgolfer Local Hyundai honors test drive offers, but Chrysler does not.
Crooked Chrysler dealer plays dumb that they don’t know about it or they don’t know how to process it or they don’t have the password depending on which manager opens their lying mouth yet it still pops up on their website to scam people into visiting.

I had a similar experience. My offer was for Jeep though, but when I went today (Saturday) they said the guy that is in charge of those offers only works Monday through Friday and I need to come back then. I asked if I could take the test drive today and just drop off the coupon for him to enter when he comes in and they said I couldn’t do that. What jerks.

Mazda tried to pull a fast one on me by not sending me the test drive gift card I emailed their customer service everyday for a week till someone finally honored it. Keep complaining the squeaky wheel gets the oil.

I am having a hard time finding a participating dealership in my area (Orange County, CA). I went to the dealership that I used last year in Garden Grove and they said they are no longer participating. Then I went to another dealership in Huntington Beach and they also said they are not participating. How can you do a test drive offer if the dealerships don’t participate? With national offers such as these is it the local dealership who pays the money or is it the national headquarters? What a crock. It seems Hyundai dealerships in my area are getting wiser.

Hyundai and Jeep offers are both still valid in my area. Neither required an actual test drive, which is awesome. The Subaru and Ford (3/31) offers seem to have ended in my area.
