@my4mainecoons said in [Official Kellogg's Family Rewards Program Codes over this, but three months and counting, I still have not received my shopping bag.
Just received an email that my April tote bag has shipped.
Yep, got the shipped email too, and received the bag today.

Git you a Target e gift card. Very easy to use either printed on paper, or the Target app. With the Target app I don’t even carry my physical gift cards to the store.
-
Oh wait, scratch that, it looks like you’d have to purchase 4 separate Kellogg’s products (4 different receipts) to qualify for this month.
This is the first month in a while that I will pass on.

Bag may have been made in China, but no, shipping was local/domestic.

Anyone else have problems with the video activity? Same problem this month as last month. The descriptions says, “Watch the video until the end and you’ll automatically go to the next screen. Claim your token there.” The problem is, the video just ends, it doesn’t progress or direct anywhere and doesn’t credit. I contacted support last month and they manually credited me, but this will become a tiresome habit if this doesn’t get resolved.

Actually I was shocked to find out that the video activity is working for me and I am receiving the token after the video has completed. My problem this month is submitting a receipt. I tried in Firefox and Edge and when I submit it doesn’t go through. However, I submitted via e-mail and that way always works. Every month I am promised bonus time and that if I submit one receipt I will be awarded an extra token, but it never works out that way and every month I have to contact customer service on my three accounts to get that extra bonus token.
-
They really need to get this stuff worked out. The revised website just has not worked as well as the previous version. I finally got the video to credit (on my Android phone instead of via comp browser) but I had to do the family activities survey twice before it credited.
-
For the few months that I’ve participated in this new KFR, I’ve had similar issues, and they either resolve by themselves over the course of a few days, or in the case of receipts, if it didn’t give me credit the first time, I resubmit it and IIRC, eventually get the credit.
And @yoregano is correct, they need to get this stuff fixed. I don’t think they’ve done anything since this new, clearly cheaper (as opposed to less expensive), program was put in place, and it shows - badly.
-
@connman What I dislike with their new format is I can buy 5 of their products at one time and only receive one token. If I have the cashier ring them up separately and submit 5 receipts, I get 5 tokens.

No argument there. I’ve gone to looking for reasons to split the purchases up, if it isn’t too much of a hassle.
-
One potential annoyance with making single item purchases is that sale prices and coupons often won’t work. For example, coupons are often “$X off when you buy 2/3/4” and items are sometime only on sale when purchase in quantity, such as “$3.99 each or 4/$10”.

You can go to Rite Aid and they have little bags and cups of Kellogg’s cereal often for $1. Paying $1 to get $5 back isn’t a bad deal.
-
I think they’re starting to get nervous about the program. In the past hour I received emails from KFR offering 3 tokens for one receipt. Emails were titled “2 bonus tokens! Going once, going twice” and “We admit it! We missed you!” I haven’t done anything with these accounts in the past few months. So far, I have not received an email for the account I sign into each month only to check what rewards they offer. The links are NOT generic, so I can’t share them.
Guess it’s time to get some Target eGCs!
-
Target eGCs are all gone. Maybe if they didn’t take 2 days to handle a receipt…
And they mishandled the receipt anyway - supposed to get 3 tokens for one receipt - per the email - only got one!
-
They may restock. I plan on checking regularly to see if they get more in.
-
@connman They are so screwed up. I did the 4 question survey and had to do it twice. I watched the video twice and had to do a chat because I didn’t get the token, I uploaded a receipt (first one in a couple of months) and received an email that it was a duplicate. This time I called then to get it fixed All this happened today!!
-
I have three accounts - one for each adult in the house. One of the accounts didn’t get the offer for 3 tokens for one receipt, probably because I’ve used it to login and check rewards the past couple of months. So I’m all set with that one - ready to get a Target eGC if and when they come back in stock. It was in stock when I submitted the receipt, but not two days later.
The other two accounts are a different story. Both had the 3-for-1 receipt offer. Both uploaded a receipt. Both failed to give 3 tokens two days later after the receipt was processed. Errrr.
I emailed CS for one of them. Still waiting to hear back - high call volume the auto-response email says - best they can offer is ASAP. Wonder why - maybe because your site is less than functional and your desired rewards go out of stock within days of the start of the month?
Anyway, while I’m waiting for CS to respond to the email, I try Chat, which finally shows up (no idea on hours, but it wasn’t there for the other account 5 minutes ago). Anyway, via Chat, I was in and out in 10 minutes, and the problem was resolved (at least a reward was visibly available - it could still take a bit for the displayed token number to correctly reflect 5 instead of 3).
While I had “Lexis” on the hook, I asked about the likelihood that the Target eGC would be restocked, since it “sold out” in under 10 days. All Lexis could say was that they couldn’t promise a restock, but to keep checking. So helpful… Does no one at KFR have a clue how to conduct business?
-
I have a new thing KFR is doing to me. I completed two activities and instead of earning one token for each, it said i earned 0 tokens! I sent a support request to KFR and we will see what they say.

That happened to me as well. I just did it a second time and got the token.

As of this moment, the $5 Target eGC is back in stock!

I didn’t even know Barnes and Noble was still in business. I think I will get the Container Store gift cards this time around.
Looks like there is no bonus token on receipt uploads this month. So that means we will need to buy (or find) 2 receipts this month, as there are only 3 activities to earn tokens this month besides receipt upload.
-
I needed one more token for September. Went out of the way to pick up some pop tarts that my mom eats. Get home, got email from kfr giving me a bonus token. I will send in the receipt for October now. I wish they had eGift cards for more mainstream stores. I don’t have a container store, b&n, or target around me. I really liked the amazon, or a Walmart one would be nice.
-
@briarycliffs I have B&N nearby (too many GCs already from elsewhere), used to have The Container Store (not worth the price), and more Redbox credit than I can shake a stick at. Only real option for me this month is UW donation, and I already cover that elsewhere. So I’m not going out of my way to enter this month, either. I think I’ve participated maybe 3-4 times this year - just not worth the hassle for the questionable rewards they have available.
-
It was pretty easy this month, 2 surveys and a video, along with a bonus token. Sent in for the B&N gift card with the purchase of the pop tarts that were meant for last month. Of course, the video I had to “watch” more than once and one of the surveys I had to take multiple times for it to credit. I found out I do have a B&N at the local community college bookstore. Never been there but I would hope that they have something I can use the gift card on.
-
@briarycliffs That’s a college store. (Decades ago I worked at B&N corporate.) There’s a retail division and a college division. The latter stocks all the textbooks, etc. for the college classes, school supplies, etc. I don’t think there will be a problem but check to see if they accept the g.c. If nothing else you can get snacks. There are Starbucks in many B&N retail locations but they are not owned by SB and SB gc aren’t accepted there.

Looks like the program in ending 12/31/22:
To better connect you to your favorite brands, we’re ending the Kellogg’s Family Rewards® program on December 31, 2022. All the offers and promotions you love will be fun-er, simpler and easier to take part in. You’ll have one less username and password to remember!
Keep scoring tokens until December 31, 2022, and log in and redeem rewards until January 15, 2023. After that, you’ll get all the news and fun stuff you love directly from your favorite brands.
Q&A with KFR
Why is KFR going away?
After a decade, we’re changing things up. But don’t worry, it’s just the beginning! KFR is going away, but the offers, fun stuff and promotions you love aren’t. We’re just making it faster and easier for you to participate and enjoy the brands you love.
When’s the last month?
December 2022 will be the last month to score monthly tokens. There’s still time!
When’s the last day to redeem my rewards?
Make sure you log in and redeem all your rewards before January 15, 2023.
What happens to my KFR account?
No need to log in to your KFR account anymore. You’ll have one less username and password to remember.
What is happening to coupons?
Oh there’s still coupons! Check Kelloggs.com regularly for savings and deals on your favorite brands.
Will I still hear from you?
You’ll still get emails from us, but they’ll come straight from your favorite brands. You’ll get more stuff you like that’s more relevant to what you want.
When does the transition begin?
Starting November 1, 2022, new members will stop being added to KFR.
What about promotions?
They’re not going anywhere! You’ll find out about exciting promotions just like before from specially marked products, social media and TV commercials.
What about current promotions?
For some current promotions, continue to use your login to participate when necessary. You won’t need your login for future promotions.
Can I still earn monthly tokens?
Yep! You can still earn monthly tokens for the months of November and December 2022.
When is the last day that I can login to my account?
January 15, 2023 .
Still have questions? We’ll help you out! Contact Us
-
In November they are offering a $5 Walmart gift card and a $5 TJ Maxx/Marshall’s gift card, which on the first day is out of stock. You cam also redeem for $5 off Kellogg’s salty snacks or a $5 donation to United Way.
-
Aw man. At least their last year they went out with a bang, in terms of gift cards per product purchase.
I think if they fixed all of their website issues, then they wouldn’t have had to task so many CSRs to phone and live chat.
-
Submitted for my first of hopefully 3 $5 Walmart codes:
Shop til you drop!
Your $5 Walmart eGift Card will be sent to you within 5 days, so keep an eye on your inbox.
Looks like this month to get a $5 code it requires the purchase of 2 Kellogg’s products (on two receipts). I usually find my receipts abandoned at supermarket parking lots. I also get 2 to 3% back from Inotta for the Safeway family receipts.
I love this new reboot of KFR. Easy to get a $5 code. May they RIP.
-
@mrvietnam Got all 3 of mine in already…don’t want to take a chance on OOS issues again! Only had to do a few activities more than once to get credit on one of the accounts…
-
All GCs still in stock at the moment. If you need a product for a receipt, I found family-sized packages of Halloween-themed cereal on clearance at Walmart for $1.12 (regularly $4.48).
-
And the final rewards for the program are:
- KFR Tote Bag
- $5 United Way donation
- $5 Grubhub Gift Card
- $5 Mix It Up™ eGift Card
-
Walmart reward from last month still out of stock.
-
RIP. Pours one out for my fallen homie.
-
Does the Mix It Up eGC have a bar code on it? The last time I had one it was challenging to use the WM eGC in a store.
