RE: Amazon Prime Members Only: Starting June 7 to June 20 spend $10 to Get $10 credit to use on Prime Day (6/21-6/22) when you shop from small business storefront
I was avoiding subscribe and save items because I wasn’t sure if the $10 credit would only trigger when the item was billed upon shipping at the end of the month (my S&S schedule). While searching for a qualified item, I paused to reorder two of my regular S&S items… turns out one of them triggered this promo even though it ships from Amazon (but sold by a small business).
TLDR: S&S items qualify as long as it’s sold by a small business (even if shipped by Amazon).

RE: Amazon Prime Members Only: Starting June 7 to June 20 spend $10 to Get $10 credit to use on Prime Day (6/21-6/22) when you shop from small business storefront
Why do you need a list of qualifying small businesses? Just search within all items sold by small businesses.
On the product page of qualifying items, there “should” be a note that states " Save $10 on Prime Day when you spend $10 on small businesses today. Exclusively for Prime Members." However, Amazon has never been very careful about always including such messages when it comes to sales on select items. If you find it through searching their small business inventory, it should trigger the discount whether that note is on the product page or not.

Overcharged For Chicken Class Action Settlement - Select States
If you purchased chicken products, you could be eligible to receive money from a $181 million settlement.
What is the settlement about?
This class action is called In re: Broiler Chicken Antitrust Litigation (End-User Consumer Action), Case No. 1:16-cv-08637 (N.D. Ill.) and is pending in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. U.S. District Court Judge Thomas M. Durkin is in charge of this class action.
End-User Consumer Plaintiffs allege that Defendants and their co-conspirators conspired to restrict the supply of, and fix, raise, and stabilize the price of chicken, as of January 1, 2009, in violation of federal and state consumer and antitrust laws.
The Defendants and co-conspirators are chicken processors in the United States. In the notice, “Settling Defendants” refers to Fieldale, George’s, Mar-Jac, Peco, Pilgrim’s, and Tyson. “Non-Settling Defendants” refers to Agri Stats, Inc., Claxton Poultry Farms, Inc.; Foster Farms, LLC and Foster Poultry Farms; Harrison Poultry, Inc., House of Raeford Farms, Inc.; JCG Foods of Alabama, LLC, JCG Foods of Georgia, LLC, Koch Foods, Inc. and Koch Meats Co., Inc.; Mountaire Farms, Inc., Mountaire Farms, LLC, and Mountaire Farms of Delaware, Inc.; Koch Foods, Inc., JCG Foods of Alabama, LLC, JCG Foods of Georgia, LLC, and Koch Meat Co., Inc.; O.K. Foods, Inc., O.K. Farms, Inc., and O.K. Industries, Inc.; Perdue Farms, Inc. and Perdue Foods LLC; Sanderson Farms, Inc., Sanderson Farms, Inc. (Foods Division), Sanderson Farms, Inc. (Processing Division) and Sanderson Farms, Inc. (Production Division); Wayne Farms, LLC; Mountaire Farms, Inc., Mountaire Farms, LLC, and Mountaire Farms of Delaware, Inc.; Foster Farms, LLC; House of Raeford Farms, Inc.; and Simmons Foods, Inc. and Simmons Prepared Foods, Inc.
End-User Consumer Plaintiffs have reached Settlements with the Settling Defendants, but the End-User Consumers’ case is proceeding against the Non-Settling Defendants. Those other Non-Settling Defendants may be subject to separate settlements, judgments, or class certification orders. If applicable, you will receive a separate notice regarding the progress of the litigation and any resolution of claims against other Non-Settling Defendants.
Settling Defendants have not admitted any liability and continue to deny all allegations of wrongdoing in this lawsuit and would allege numerous defenses to Plaintiffs’ claims if the case against it were to proceed.

RE: FREE N95 Masks Next Week from The US Government
@mommyofhandk said in FREE N95 Masks Next Week from The US Government:
I have yet to try any of these; usually just go with a blue surgical one or a cloth one. Are these ok to breath with in continuous use? Compared to blue surgical ones
Depends on what you consider safe. N95 and KN95 masks are made of plastic (so are surgical masks BTW). Plastic off gasses dozens of chemicals, most of which are considered toxic and/or the have unknown health impacts from breathing in these fumes for long periods. If you have to wear masks for extended periods (e.g., all day at work), you may be better off with a triple ply, tightly woven cloth mask with a nose clip. The N95 (and, to a lesser degree, well fitting KN95 and non-woven surgical masks with nose wires) are better at filtering out Omicron and other particulate matter but what if there is a risk of them giving you cancer or another serious disease? There is no answer to this question yet so you have to weigh the pros and cons and decide which you feel more comfortable with. Cloth masks can also be combined with filters to make them more effective.
Of course, no matter what type of mask you wear, wearing your mask properly is essential. Here are instructions for getting the most out of each type of mask: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/types-of-masks.html .

I don’t remember exactly where I saw it, but it wasn’t on the main points activity page. I saw it beneath one of the activities I had had just completed. I suspect, but am not sure, that it was on the Team Marlboro page because you earned the freebie by downloading pdf instructions for building a vertical garden. I can access the pdf download on the Team Marlboro page, but don’t see the offer there (although that may be because I already claimed it).

RE: Swagbucks Tips, Offers & Discussion Thread
@mtnagel said in Swagbucks Tips, Offers & Discussion Thread:
@fivetalents Yeah I get that but how could they possibly do that many offers to get that much in rewards?
Many would say the same thing about earning 12,000 SB! Hahaha.
Some people have a ton of time to spend doing Swagbucks offers. They earn a lot through shopping, especially when there are large cash back bonuses from online shopping and high value magic receipts uploads from ins tore shopping. Some Discover offers are very high paying (including partners like Revenue University). Like app games (I once did one that paid $50 and there are a bunch of them available). There are also surveys, some take hours to complete but pay out hundreds if you qualify, though payouts are slower because they have to carefully validate responses. You get SB from buying gift cards from MyGiftGards+ (free money if you shop at those stores already), and playing Swago. You also get bonuses from hitting daily, weekly, and monthly goals. Some also spend SB to enter various Swagstakes lotteries. The list goes on and on and they do add up… there are many things I never participate in and forgot even exist (I literally can’t remember what they are called right now).
As annoying as it may seem, I strongly recommend skimming through this thread from the beginning. All of this has and more has been discussed before. You have to put in some serious time (and sometimes spend a bit of money) to have mega earnings that high though. I don’t have the time or patience to be a power Swagbucks user. I prefer quick, free, and easy offers and although I was raking in big bucks for a couple of years from a long-running 40% cash back offer for a new department store type website that also offered big sales and discounts. Offers change frequently… depends on what out there/available.
