I doubt even managers have the ability to change fees, but it won’t hurt to call and ask. Maybe try requesting a courtesy credit on the bill, especially if you had any problems with service experience or the car itself. If you’re going to have the car for awhile, maybe ask for a free upgrade or amenity (e.g., unlimited miles, model upgrade, no gas refill requirement, additional driver, etc.). I think your ability to negotiate would have been stronger before you took possession of the car.

So after clicking your link a few times, I got the 18 SB to come up. But then instead of claim, it said something like do you want to make your default search engine something something. I clicked learn more and it took me to another page. I then went back and clicked no thanks and the bill disappeared and I didn’t get the 18 SB. What the heck? I’ve never seen that before.

For the past few weeks, I haven’t been able to claim most of my search wins. Whenever I click the claim button I get this pop-up error message in a red box instead:

Legend has it that It used to be 4 max search wins per day. When there are large collector bills live, I try to get it 4 times. I’ve pulled that off several times but TBH, they increased the minimum number of searches needed to win so high that I lose interest after 2 wins. Going for 3 wins is like torture for me, so I have to be in a REALLY good mood to go for 4 search wins a day. I haven’t heard of people getting more than 4 in a day but that doesn’t mean it’s not possible.

I have no idea where either of these are located on their site. I even checked the app… no dice. Hopefully they will send email notifications regardless of where it is announced on their website.
