@craig10x I signed up as an individual not as a business.
Didn’t have to provide any of that information, very easy to sign up, and it
worked perfectly transferring money from my Wells Fargo checking to my SoFi checking.
Let me see if I can find a different link for you.
It’s definitely NOT a waste of time.

@atikovi Banks seem to be getting more stringent on DD requirements.
I’ve managed to fake a few using ACH
https://www.doctorofcredit.com/knowledge-base/list-methods-banks-count-direct-deposits/
@atikovi No idea what SoFi marketing strategy is by offering a premium rate for DD.
@atikovi
Qualifying Direct Deposits are defined as deposits from enrolled member’s employer, payroll, or benefits provider via ACH deposit. Deposits that are not from an employer (such as check deposits; P2P transfers such as from PayPal or Venmo, etc.; merchant transactions such as from PayPal, Stripe, Square, etc.; and bank ACH transfers not from employers) do not qualify

@alanmax NEVER, rates are moving up do not lock in a low rate now.
1.10% beats all liquid accounts by 0.10%, and if liquid rates don’t get above 1.20% by the end of 10 months, you might come out a tiny bit ahead.
The 0.65% no penalty CD doesn’t make any sense to me with about 10 liquid account at or above 0.65%, and rising,
Just sharing, all optional options, don’t do if you don’t like, your mileage may vary
