These deals are great ways to maximize extra rewards/cashback some credit cards offer on grocery purchases. For example, I get 6% back on grocery purchases with my Am Ex Blue Cash Preferred card. This offer came at a good time as my annual fee is coming soon, so I can max out the $6,000 annually I am allowed in 6% grocery purchases before I downgrade to the Am Ex Blue Everyday card (that has no annual free, but gives only 3% back on grocery purchases).

Even though they pulled the tag online for the test strips, you still earn the points for them. I went ahead and gave it a try last night. I made 7 purchases at same location over the past month and all credits showed up almost instantly. The last three at the exact same location haven’t showed up after three days. Called amex and was assured that they qualify and as per terms, it could take up to 90 days to receive credit…

For me at least, the credits come 1-2 days after the charge posts… It has always been that way for me, over my first 32 $10+ charges at least. 8 more to go then I’m done.

Just back from Walgreens. They restocked from earlier this week. $5 doesn’t seem to be a sale price, but rather the everyday price for these 6=7 paper towels as the price is printed on the packaging wrap already. This 6 pack of paper towels is tiny. The rolls look like about half the size of a normal roll, but that said, with the $1.25 off coupon that automatically applied to each package I thought it was a decent deal and I was able to use $10 of my Register Rewards points up, so that was good, too. The stores in my area had a limit of 2 paper products per person, so I had to go to two different nearby Walgreens to get the 4 that I got. Too bad there were no Scott paper towel manufacturer coupons out there besides the $1 digital coupon that applied only to one package.

The paper towels at Walgreens were 6=7 rolls for $5. I looked on the Google and it looks like you can get Scott 6=11 paper towels there for only $5.95. but since there was a $1.25 store coupon at Walgreens, it looks like the Walgreens price was marginally the better deal.

You can buy just 5 and save a little, as you’d only need 5 to hit the thresholds for SStar and BC. Save $1 + the tax on that 6th one. If you use the product, might as well get the 6th for a $1 + tax net.

Yes, this deal, including Savingstar, should track. If you are just buying 5 I would just give the cashier 5 coupons and see if they will accept it in one transaction rather than worrying about tracking, but I think it should track.

Yes, iI was just about to post that. From reading other boards it looks like there are two versions of this offer. One is get $10 when you spend $50 and the other is get $10 when you spend $100. Both offers are limit 2 redemptions. Unfortunately I got the latter offer, but at least I was lucky enough to be targeted.

I read on another board that you can meet the required spend by buying an Amazon gift card. I’m not sure about buying third party gift cards though, but it should work as long as they are sold and shipped by Amazon.

10% off is not a great discount, but would be nice if you were planning on buying something for that much anyway.

That is an excellent idea as my Blue Everyday card only gives 3% cash back on grocery purchases- I wish Amazon sold Kroger gift cards; but Albertsons/Safeway gc’s are ok, too.

One thing to remember when placing your Amazon gift card order is to not order $200 in gift cards in one order, but place two different orders with $100. As the language of the Am Ex promo is “Spend $100 or more…”

EDIT: I just ordered a $100 Albertson’s gift card. I did NOT get the congratulations e-mail saying I used the offer, but that doesn’t mean much as sometimes that e-mail comes and sometimes it doesn’t. However, I think I will wait a few days to place the order for the second $100 card, just to make sure I get the $10 credit back first before doing it again…

Nice deal. The $1 Whoppers and $1 large fries were unlimited. I ordered 3 Whoppers for $1 each and 2 large fries for $1 each. The free Kids meals with $1 purchase were limited to one offer per account though. A long time ago they used to be unlimited, too. I got enough food for a family of 5 for just $7 plus tax.

I bought two on the same receipt for $3.49 each and only got credit for one. They are slow responding support tickets. I submitted several days ago and have yet to hear back.

One thing I noticed is when taking a picture of your receipt you are only allowed to take one picture for each submission, so I recommend just buying the ice cream by itself so that your picture for submission is more clear and readable.

Will work out great with the pricematching to get the $10 spend needed for October ink recycling. Just have to remember to wait until Thursday to buy though. I am down to my last 16 $10 Office Depot gift cards to use up, so with those it makes all these 100% offers 120% MMs as I got the gift cards for 20% off several years ago.

I have never had a problem pricematching on an online order even though shipping at the competitor was not free. Office Depot chat reps never went there and brought it up. In the past, at least in my experience, they go just by the item price and don’t consider shipping.

With that said, I wish they would offer more 100% items than just Duracell batteries. I have so many 100% back in Rewards batteries there is no way I could use them all. Maybe I could give them as gifts at Christmastime. Stocking stuffers.

I used Apple Pay at Burger King on $1 items and on the third Apple Pay transaction I got the Congratulations e-mail. Easy Peasey. Bummer the offer limit was only one $10 reward.
